Buyer beware here! My sister tried to buy a car here and they tried multiple different ways to cheat her in the deal. She put down a deposit in order to get a car while they were doing the "touchups" to the car. The paint needed to be polished, there were 2 holes in the seat they said they would repair and the clips on the bumper needed to be replaced. She picked up the car at night, only to come out in the morning to see the entire clear coat had been ruined. The seat had been replaced by one that didn't match and even some of the clips hadn't been replaced. When she brought it in once she had seen it, the dealer spoke to her as if she was a child, gaslit her and even told her boyfriend to "stay out of this conversation because he had nothing to do with it". All of this had been recorded so if the dealer tried to refute this review, I may post that as well. He tried to keep the money she had put down on the car but she insisted on him signing something saying he would give her the money back. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Veloster on November 17. From day one, the car had serious safety and mechanical issues. Immediately after leaving the dealership, the side mirror fell off, the brake light didn't work, the radio and AC didn't work, the alignment felt off, and the rear wiper was missing. The next day, the car broke down in the middle of the road. The dealership kept it for nearly two weeks, claimed it was fixed, and it broke down again the day after I picked it up, leaving me stranded on the freeway once again. Because the dealership could not get the car to work, I had no choice but to return it and receive a refund. However, months later I am still waiting for a promised $300 tow reimbursement. When I followed up, they mentioned how they are "still in a process and have been busy". The last phone call I was told that the car's issues were my responsibility, the car was fine and they don't want to refund anymore, despite being assured I would be refunded. I call weekly and am always told someone will call me back--they never do. Throughout this process, employees downplayed the seriousness of the problems, made it seem like the breakdowns were "no big deal," and provided conflicting or misleading information, which only added to the stress and confusion. I rely on my car for work, and the repeated breakdowns happened on my way to work, putting my job in jeopardy multiple times and I was not provided a rental vehicle. Despite documenting all issues with written complaints and photo proof. Due to the lack of accountability and resolution, I am now filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General. I strongly do not recommend this dealership. Once the sale is made, customer safety and support disappear. They do not care about you and will sell you an unsafe car. read more

Upon arrival, it appears they have some nice looking vehicles. But, I'm surprised it's called a Superstore since the lot, nor the interior are very large. I stopped by because I was lured in by a drawing/promotion. When entering the sales office area, it was chaotic. A gentleman approached me after a few minutes. He said he'd get someone to assist me. He walked outside while I stood by the door. Then, he said it may take awhile due to him being unable to locate anyone from the outside company who was handling the promotion. I explained I wasn't interested in a new vehicle for several reasons. He told me most people who had stopped in had only won $2. If I were his sales manager, I'd be upset. If employees aren't enthusiastic about the promotion and are speaking negatively about it, it doesn't reflect well on the dealership. Also, I should be happy. But, I was quite shocked he didn't try to sell me a car. Maybe, he was just too busy and thought I was a waste of time. Notice the previous reviews are old and I believe they have had a change in management. Our car search began almost a year ago. After many dealerships took advantage of my 18-year-old daughter and proceeded to destroy her credit. We decided to put our search on hold for 3 months and when we began searching it was more of the same. Dealerships claiming to have a 1st-time buyers program, etc. This would all prove to be untrue and we would once again put our car purchase on hold. For the last 3 months, we have rented a car weekly. We were paying almost $1600 a month for a rental car. I decided we could no longer sustain the weekly payment and I would have to find a vehicle I could finance in my name. I actually had planned on going to a dealership across the street but they had maybe 3.5 cars on their lot. At Big 3, I met Nestor, he was what a salesman should be, excited about helping you achieve your goal but also not forcing you into a vehicle you can not afford. Nestor listened to all my concerns and vowed to help me find a vehicle. I only spent a couple of hours with Nestor at the dealership but I was approved for a Hyundai Elantra and I love it. I was of course skeptical and waited for something to go wrong. But it didn't. Over the last 4 days, I have put over 500 miles on my car. My son attends NAU and he recently had a birthday, which required one round trip to Mayer and another roundtrip to Flagstaff. It's a small car and I was concerned if it could handle the weather up north. The car performed amazingly and I was never concerned about our safety. There are a couple of small items that need to be fixed Ie. the visor is falling off, the child locks are on (no there is not a thing in the door), and the windshield wipers when turned off, stay in the windshield and the fluid is out, and the radio keys sometimes stick. These are all MINOR issues and I know they will take care of these for me. I have had some awful experiences and I write about them all. For the buyer- $499 for dealer fees, $998 for a ceramic clear-coat application, + taxes. Account for an extra $1500 from sticker price BEFORE taxes. Their "room" for negotiation is in the "ceramic coating" which I wasn't convinced it had for the vehicle I was interested in. Experiences below: Mom and pop dealer with good seeming people. I've been on the hunt for a specific car with configurations that are somewhat hard to come by so I flew in (tickets were cheap) to look at the car because I was 95% certain I was going to buy the car. I arrived saw the vehicle and was surprised on the paint chips, scuffs, glue and general asymmetry. This was an older car so wear is expected but not to this extent of course pictures don't show this. Test drove it and noticed a few mechanical things that would need tune up or repair (transmission, blower motor, electric wiring, suspension). Tried negotiation to account for the faults but they wouldn't budge and wouldn't remove the cost of the "ceramic coating". Left and took a flight back home cause I couldn't justify the cost even though it was well within my budget. They were asking for a good-excellent condition price for a less than-fair vehicle. Got a notification today 10 days after my November payment that they're billing my payment.... Again... I called the owner to find they snook a double monthly payment into my contract that was NEVER spoken of, nor have I ever heard of on a car loan. My mother in law literally locked the keys in her car and she was trying to figure out how to get them out. She called big 3 to let them know and MICHELLE (literally the most rudest person) gave her attitude saying that she needs to pay her last payment before they could even help her. So we had to get a little financial help and make the payment. But once they got there Michelle was rude and said that my mother in law had to leave her phone there in order to receive the spare key. And then Michelle then preceded to tell my mother in law that "this is a dealership, not a locksmith" very rude person. WORST. CAR BUYING. EXPERIENCE. EVER! Do not go to Big 3 Automart in Phoenix if you expect to be treated with respect, be taken care of as a customer and get a good deal. Furthermore, the manager STOLE $313 from me after the sales process! Read on to find out how. I flew into AZ from CO to buy a Tesla Model 3 from these guys. I did appreciate that unlike other dealers, they agreed to hold the car for 24 hours without a deposit. But that's where the niceties end. First off, the pics the salesman sent me showed a filthy car inside and out. When I arrived, they gave it a quick wash and a half-way decent wipe down. Seriously, you're trying to sell a $30k car and you don't even get it detailed?! After excitedly looking over the vehicle the dealer comes out and tells me I can take the car out but not get a real test-drive because the day before, they realized the Tesla was stuck in "valet mode". That basically means you can't drive over 70 MPH, the acceleration is dramatically choked down in "chill mode" and the seats can't be set to your specs. Worse, they knew this for over a day, had me fly out anyway. When we talked about how to fix it they said, "...we don't know anything about Tesla's so YOU need to get in touch with Tesla to fix it". YEAH - these assholes actually put it on ME to figure out how to solve the issue so I could drive the car and sell it to myself. After nearly 4 hours I did get it sorted out with Tesla Service and was OK buying the car and driving it back to Colorado. So, I said to the sales guy, let's talk about price because after this experience you definitely need to come down a bit. Nope! The manager Dominic refused to budge a single dollar!! I walked into his office laughing, "You gotta be kidding me! After this terrible experience spending all morning fixing your mistake, you're not going to negotiate on price at all?!" He claimed that he was already barely breaking even at the near $30k price tag and without even looking up from his computer screen, rudely said, "...I'll take $90 off so you can feel like you win here". Dominic's conduct and mannerism was down-right shocking and disrespectful. I wanted the car badly and bought it anyway. Fast forward a couple months and it's time to register the car and my local county clerk tells me I overpaid $313 in taxes. The dealer collected too much sales tax and my only remedy is to get them to pay it back. Of course, Dominic refused to send me a penny saying his hands were tied. No surprise there, but it truly sucks to be taken for a chump and then robbed of several hundred dollars more, months down the line to be reminded of what a horrible company and person I had to deal with to get my dream car. read more

The check engine light came on while driving home on 3/11/2023. I took the car the car back on 3/13/2023. I went back on 3/14/2023 and picked the car up. Drove the vehicle home again the check engine light came back on again while driving home. Purchased a vehicle from the lot. And it's been less than 30 days and I've had it in the shop three times already. The lights that were on the dash when It was purchased and we're guaranteed to be removed are back on .literally 24 hours later the lights are right back on every time. I don't even know how they got it through admissions besides just enabling and disconnecting the sensors. Personally had to coach checked on the same time and every time it's thrown the same codes.This was my son's very first major purchase. He just turned 18 and bought this vehicle. In fact after numerous text messages indicating that she did not receive the down payment in which she did and instead of researching it and coming back to issue after readearching it in a respectful manner she negated and argued it for over 30 minutes and continue to send Confrontational text messages and reverted to calling personally and threatening -all of which was recorded. A 2009 Honda CR-V. Had it for two weeks and two days and had to have it towed home cuz it wouldn't start. When we finally got it home we checked a few things and turns out it is a starter issue. Contacted Big 3 Automart to see what they could do to help me with this situation since I have only had the vehicle just over two weeks. Was told they could repair it for a discounted price. How is that right? Any other reputable dealership would repair the vehicle at no cost after only having it for two weeks. My worst car buying experience by far.. I had the sassiest car salesmen ever(bob). Would not come back and buy another car from them. Initially he was nice and what not but he started giving us attitude and had a condescending tone towards for whatever reason so it's only right I give him attitude back ... so we end up getting the car and sign everything we had to only from him to call us back the next day to sign more stuff.. mind you it's a 45 min drive both ways.. so he offered to meet us somewhere halfway and wouldn't tell me where he would be willing to meet and wouldn't tell me what time would be best. I went in took the time to make the deal just to get a piece of crap vehicle that was completely unsafe. As a former mechanic & auto performance shop owner. I was totally lied to about their ASE mechanic looking over car prior to purchase. On the ride home I could tell car had prior major issues & dangerous front/rear suspension issues. Got vehicle on Saturday afternoon drove home & parked it. I returned vehicle Monday morning as they were closed Sunday. Then their mechanic told me that I needed wait 4 days before they could look at it. I then said I wanted to return vehicle, which they said they would exchange for another. The other car (2008 Maxima) was $9,995 which had a sign on it, but then added an additional $4000 to make it $13,995 & tried to sell it to me for that price. Told them to take their cars & shove it. Big 3 then put on my credit the car was repossessed. Which was a Complete LIE car was never repossessed. They refused to return my down payment of $1200 & then when I sent them the Small Claims Court notice this criminal dealership ignored it. Terrible service! We bought our vehicle three months ago and just barely received our license plate this week! According to the general manager they may not have even had the title for the vehicle at the time of sale, but whether that is true or their incompetent people couldn't simply submit a registration form to the DMV right the first time, the end result is the same, if you buy a vehicle from them, you very well may run through multiple temporary tags before finally receiving registration. My father owned a car dealership, so I grew up in the industry. Despite that, I chose another professional path. That said, I enjoy privately buying and selling cars, and have done about a dozen deals in the last few years. If you are honest with people, and they are honest with you, it can be an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, that was NOT the situation with Big 3 Automart, and in particular a salesman there named Scott. I was searching to replace a car for my stepson and found one online at this dealership. When I called, Scott told me that the car had just been sold, but that they had just taken one in that was "a better, cleaner car" than the one I had inquired about. I drove to Chandler later that day to discover that the car needed body work, the a/c didn't work, and that the center counsel (radio, NAV, back-up camera, etc) was not functional. With Scott's and the manager's written assurance that all would be repaired for the offer I made, I left a deposit check. The next several days Scott was virtually unresponsive to my texts and calls asking how the work was progressing. Five days later, I finally got Scott to answer the phone, and he informed me that the center counsel was going to cost the dealership more than they had anticipated. He then told me they could no longer honor the written, agreed upon offer, and said if I wanted the car that I'd need to increase my offer. Purchased a car there almost 2 years ago and it is still going strong. Initially, the transmission went out shortly after purchasing it. However, it was my error since when I purchased the car the "AT" light was on which I thought meant that the car was in Automatic mode instead of the tiptronic manual. When I called Big3, they told me that I could bring the car back and exchange ti for a different one or get a full refund. Instead, I opted to use the ASC aftermarket warranty that I purchased from them. The warranty covered a full transmission replacement from a Mazda dealership. But I could've chosen any certified mechanic to do the work. But, most importantly, Big 3 had excellent customer service, an awesome selection of cars and fair prices. read more

Light came on again recently-they had us bring it in and determined O2sensor was bad. They replaced both sensors @ no charge. I was pretty reluctant to by this Porsche turbo because it had over 138,000 miles on it but the price was so good I took a chance. I was hoping that I'd get more for my trade in but whatever. I just got my car back from the dealer yesterday over a problem that I noticed in the steering from day one. I paid $1590.00 to get it fixed. The car rides like new now and I'm thoroughly happy with the job that they did. Someone compliments my car pretty much every time I take it out. It's the fastest, best looking car I've ever owned. I dislike Big 3's dangerous cars.I spent 11,000 dollars on my F150 I got through Big 3.The Nightmare started about 2 years ago trying to buy a Nissan Xterra check engine light comes on soon as I leave the lot.Big 3 auto mechanic god knows where they found these mechanics couldn't fix it.So for about 2 months was dealing with this issue then finally they had Sun Devil Auto look at it.So they finally took this dangerous vehicle off my hand and let me get a F150.Did they give me a discount you would think,no spent more money.I Take it home and went to drive later that night and wouldn't you know the headlights didn't work. This place doesn't know what they are doing or how to do a 150 point inspection.So I paid out of pocket to get headlights called Shawn and they reimbursed me my money but the lady who handed my check was very rude.She must of missed her calling on Jersey Shore and is angry at the world.In less than 8,000 miles of driving this F150 I've spent about 11,000 dollars to keep this F150 nightmare from BIG 3 AUTO running.. Rebuilt engine etc.This is why I'm going to stick with Carvana the Toyota I purchased from them was a dream come true no B.S salesman or lady passed her prime accountant.The car was delivered to my house in PERFECT shape.Carvana knows how to do a 150 point inspection and I have no not one check anything light.Car is clean and perfect.I hope this review stops crooks like BIG 3 AUTO from getting any business because they should not get any business.Cant wait for the generic response on how they can address my concerns.Well if they really care they will contact me in person and address the F150 with a chunk of cash.
