If you're not a raw fish (poke) person, don't be deterred! Bigeye offers cooked options too-and not just fish. Phew, now that I got that out of the way and hopefully caught the attention of the non-seafood eaters, I'll proceed. This is a fast casual joint where you order at the counter, fill your own drink and food is brought to your table (if you had something cooked, otherwise they assemble it in front of you.) This concept isn't unique, but the food itself is. And the service is ridiculously good. Everyone was so nice! If you're all about sweet drinks, try one of the tropical Hawaiian juices. Be warned, they are very sweet and will probably trigger a diabetic reaction for some folks. But seeing how immune Utahns are to a sugary drink, most people are probably fine. I opted for the Tilapia, white rice, edamame and macaroni salad. It was all phenomenal, although next time I'll swap out the edamame for the crab salad-that looked good, but I didn't notice it until after I'd made my selection. My friend had a poke bowl and loved it as well. We were both pleasantly surprised by the menu and how much we enjoyed our meal.

This is such a hidden gem for us that live in SLC, and this was worth the drive down South. I think this was honestly one of the best Poke places ever. The meats/seafood they had were delicious, I had the grilled salmon which was delicious and fresh. Though, I wish they had a bigger selection for veggies, the food was still delicious. The employees are kind and make good recommendations. The inside is nice and clean (including bathrooms). Would definitely come back!

Grilled salmon instead of rice, I got seaweed salad, coleslaw, with seaweed vinegar based and crab meat!

I often stop in while I'm out and about to order their fresh poke tuna but today being a cold day I decided on cooked salmon with a side of seaweed, coleslaw and seaweed salad instead of rice, but they have a choice of brown or white rice. If you want rice, they give very generous portions.! I highly recommend if you like, seafood to eat here , it's fresh it's healthy it's delicious!

Really tasty options. I really liked the volcano salmon. And teriyaki salmon. Talking with others, they seem to like all the options including the squid. The place is nice and clean, and the service was great! They offer samples to help you make sure you like what you get. They even have grilled options for those not feeling like eating poke the traditional way. They have grilled Mahi Mahi and salmon and I think some other options. Worth a try, especially if you're trying to eat healthier. They have white rice, brown rice and mixed greens as options for your base and lots of flavorful veggie options for the sides. For those who aren't too keen on the greens, they've got a Mac salad option that people like. The portions I'd love to be a little bigger or the price a little lower, but all in all pretty good. I'd come back when I'm in the area.

Food was good reminded me of Hawaii!

Customer service was also good and good amount of options to choose from. Wish the poke scoops were a little bit bigger but it's cause I'm Polynesian lol. Good job

This is the BEST poke place in Utah! I still haven't found another one that compares. My favorite is the blazing tuna and limu tuna bowl. Lots of toppings to choose from. Absolutely delicious!

First time poke bowl experience was a huge success! Found Bigeye while scrolling for food one day and was impressed with all of the five star reviews. I must say, they were all right. Phenomenal customer service (thank you to the gentleman who let me sample different poke and made recommendations on popular dishes), and phenomenal food. Will definitely be coming back for more (:

most authentic hawaiian poke i've had in utah!! it was DELICIOUS! i have a dairy/gluten allergy and who i believe was the owner (if not give him a raise) was so helpful in what was safe for me to eat!! even hooked it up with the grilled salmon/poke bowl!! incredible food and even more amazing service!! will definitely be back!! thank you!

Volcano salmon and tunavocado over brown rice. The mango salsa is legit

Great food and great service! I ordered a bowl with volcano salmon, tunavocado, brown rice, mac salad, mango salsa, furikake, blazing sauce, cucumbers, and slaw. It was absolutely delicious and the service was phenomenal. This place is right near my work so I will be going back often. Love it!

Good portions, good poke and good seating. Great lunch spot and create your meal with rice, salad, however you like. I had the creamy salmon and avocado tuna.

The freshness and taste of this place is far better than most. Love the food, music and atmosphere

Really good poke. Quality of the Mac salad is subpar and the musubi is good, not great. Still a really good option for poke.

My son finally found time to grant my Mother's Day wish!…read more A dinner date for fresh oysters. Lately, that's all I've been craving, and thankfully he loves them as much as I do. I know that's a controversial opinion, and my husband definitely doesn't share our enthusiasm, but we're firmly on Team Oyster. We chose Market Street in South Jordan. For those who haven't heard, the downtown location will be closing on June 30, 3026. It seems people feel the same way about Market Street as they do about oysters--they either love it or hate it. I fall solidly in the "love it" camp. The atmosphere, the fresh oysters, and the clam chowder are just a few of my favorite things. As usual, the oysters were incredible. The only downside was the fresh grated horseradish had absolutely no flavor. We also had the calamari and crabcakes today and both were excellent choices. It was the perfect way to spend some one-on-one time with my son and finally celebrate Mother's Day. I'm so glad we were able to make it happen. Now the important question: Who's with me on the oysters? ‍ Love them or ? #OysterLovers #MothersDayCelebration #MarketStreetGrillSouthJordan #MomAndSonTime #UtahFoodie #FreshOysters

I was someone else's guest, so I didn't want to complain.. but wow. Not good. And that's unusual for me at Market Street. The calamari app was great, the coconut shrimp small shrimp but tasty, my daughter's fish and chips looked perfect and also the trout was cooked to perfection. Kids enjoyed their food as well.

We ordered Laarb, Pumpkin Curry, Tom Ka, Satay, Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, and the papaya salad platter. My only note to the staff is to perhaps include a photo of the papaya salad platter. We thought it would just be a larger portion of the salad, but it had a smattering of different things. All great! Just not what we expected. Maybe that's standard for Thai fare and we just didn't know it? Service: the issues spoken of with being rushed were completely absent for this trip. We actually accidentally overstayed our welcome past closing! I didn't expect them to close at 8:15 on Saturday, but that is a-okay with me. They were so kind as to give me a free Mango Sticky Rice for my birthday! This will have to become a tradition.

The food... well, I would describe it as Thai food for white people. It tasted ok, but I've had more authentic Thai in airports. Everything here seems to be a strip mall, so... this place is in a strip mall. I really don't need to be a jerk about it. This place is in business to make money, and what I think is going on is they are preparing food for the folks that live around here. If they made Thai food like I'm used to in New York City, people here might hate it. I don't know. Not everyone likes fish sauce I guess. Anyhow, I can tell by the other reviews that people here love this place, and I think that's fantastic. They shouldn't change a thing just because some NYC asshole randomly showed up.

Great ambience, friendly staff, a menu broad enough to satisfy any mood, and food that delivers on what it promises. This one has earned a regular spot in my rotation. If you arrive before 3:00 pm, do yourself a favor and order from the combo lunch menu. For a good price, you get miso soup, white rice, pork gyoza, and tempura vegetables, and then choose two items from a list that includes chicken, rolls, and sashimi. The gyoza and tempura alone are worth calling out, both done well. I went with the spicy tuna roll and steak teriyaki and did not regret either choice. Now for the rolls. The Tsunami Roll is the signature and it earns that title, order it without hesitation. The Spicy Masa and Fire Breathing Dragon round out my personal top three and I have yet to be disappointed by any of them. The two areas where they could level up: the wait for food is longer than the lunch setting calls for, so come with patience and plan accordingly. And for a restaurant with rolls this photogenic, a printed menu with photos would go a long way.
