Fantastic burgers! This place may be considered fast food, but the food is made fresh and is high quality! We are able to get multiple toppings(most free of charge!) and then add multiple spreads (garlic herb mayo, Dijon mustard, ranch, etc..). Their app makes it easy to order and fast! The prices are great as well! And the burger patties are thick, so don't believe the reviews saying they are as thin "as wafers". I literally can't fit the triple cheese Bigg burger in my mouth completely. Fries are top notch too! They changed their recipe and are now just as good as Mcdonalds fries, if not better! read more

We went here for the first time today for lunch and are highly disappointed about the food and the service. We ordered the chicken sandwiches and some sides. They repeated back the order exactly how we wanted them as well. We get home and the sandwiches have slim to no sauce on them and no pickles as requested. An extremely bland and flavorless sandwich. Highly irritated as the order was repeated back correctly to then be given an order that wasn't correct at all. Typical lazy fast food service and will not be returning. I stopped in to grab something small and quick for lunch and really their smallest option was their single burger (meal). At first not realizing that you have to pick your burger's toppings I was thrown a little off-guard but I had them put on some onions, jalapenos and cheese with mustard and ketchup and called it a day. Their burger comes double wrapped, in paper and then foil to keep it warm, and their fries come in a flat wide tray and there's a lot of them FYI. The burger was juicy and pretty solid....definitely a better burger than Mc D's or some such place, while the fries, well nothing is better than Mc D's fries right?! We stopped in here not too long ago, hungry and in a hurry which are usually not a good combination. Since I was dealing with a shitshow of phonecalls my husband ordered lunch for me. As such, I ended up with a double burger and fries. I guess he was trying to (really) feed me or something, seeing that I never order huge burgers for myself. Of course I didn't finish it, but I definitely enjoyed it while it lasted. The meat (all two patties of it, lol) was seasoned and still juicy. I really hate when places mush them and they end up dry, but not here! Though there were tons of toppings available he kept mine pretty plain which is just how I like my burgers - no cheese ever and no assertive flavors to meddle with the meat. Some mayo, lettuce, onions and pickles was all mine had on it and it was still plenty flavorful. The fries are the handcut kind, crispy and salty - sortof like five guys (not quite all the way as delicious), but close behind those holy grail spuds. I cannot eat fries without mayo- it's my thing, so I got intrigued when I noticed the herb mayo on the menu. If you've ever had the herb Boursin cheese, it tastes just like that! read more

If you have a bit more time to wait for a custom order and freshly made food vs going to a big chain fast food establishment then stop here. There burgers are always perfection. There are a ton of different topping combinations you can experiment with to keep things interesting. I am not sure if there fries are freshly made but they certainly seem like they are. The employees have always been extremely friendly every time I've gone inside to eat. The atmosphere inside does leave a bit to be desired since sometimes it can be quite loud. Not sure if its due to the fans in the kitchen or what. I prefer to hit the drive through if the weather isn't nice enough to eat outside for that reason. I can not recall a time when they have ever gotten my order wrong either. The inside is always very clean though. these big burgers are really big I mean really B I G. the beef is delicious and the burger was so juicy. They topped it off just the way I wanted it with jalapenos onions mushrooms and no cheese please. I rarely get a chance to go to a Burger Bar where they have Prime Beef but this place has it. You can tell how fresh it is as soon as it hits your mouth. It's not greasy it's just juicy and succulent. Ask for a little barbecue sauce on the side and oh my goodness you will be satiated. I suggest if you are hungry be sure to get the double-patty burger fully dressed with a side of crispy fries. Be sure to unbuckle that top button because you're going to need the space after trying to cram all that food in. Trust me you will never finish that double-patty burger because it is gigantic. That's like a half a pound of beef and I mean after it's fried. Can you imagine a burger so big they have to wrap it in paper because there are no boxes big enough to put it in? I stopped in today to give this place a try, I've heard a lot about it and it is a single-owner operated fast food restaurant in the middle of the sea of Corporate restaurants. I have to say, Bigg Burg(er) stands up to their competitors in an exciting way. The quality of food is just as high as their peers in the QSR segment, and they definitely keep up with the friendliness. Being a one-store operation frankly had me worried on how it was operated, but I was impressed. I ordered a burger and fries. My customization was correct and flawless, and the burger was cooked perfectly and was tasty and juicy. Fries are fresh cut, you can tell, and are made to order. The restaurant was well built, charming, clean, and fresh. It was a good experience all around. Here are my issues: My fries tasted of fish. They use the same fryer to cook their fries, and their fish. It imparted an off-taste, not that it bothered me so much, but if I really wanted a fish sandwich I would have ordered one. Second, I will support this restaurant because it is locally owned and operated - it's a one of a kind in Southeast Michigan. Overall however, you can find the same quality in their burger and/or fries and Wendy's, BK, 5 Guys, any casual dining restaurant...it's not as rare anymore to find a restaurant categorized as 'fast food' or 'fast casual' that delivers on fresh, quality products. Where they lack in particular is consistency. Bigg Burger doesn't do much to separate itself from it's competition, it seems to do just enough to keep up and match or slightly overtake the market. I will support them simply because they are a Michigan exclusive establishment as previously stated, but there isn't much to Bigg Burger that you can't find somewhere else for the price. It is a dog-eat-dog world out there, and if Bigg Burger wants to keep up the fight they will need to do something a little bit different to really grab the segment and sweep it off its feet. That is what is really deadly about being just 'a-ok' in the restaurant business - you aren't bad, but you aren't amazing, and that's what it takes to get people to come back. read more

Not a Bigg burger unless you order a double or a triple. Not gourmet. (look it up) Not a good value for the amount of money. A double cheese combo (includes fries and drink) and a single cheeseburger cost $12.90. Yikes It was fast though. Extremely limited menu. They were out of chili when I visited, so no chili cheese fries for me. The burgers are not grilled tasting, they are greasy. The fries were thinner than McDonalds and not crisp, except for the smallest ones. The buns might be fresh, but they are way too big for the meat cookie that they hide. It should be called Bigg Bunns or maybe Bigg Bucks 4 Burger Bites but what ever its called it is definitely worth missing. read more

What a tasty treat this was! I cashed in a Groupon for a double burger combo. We picked it up and took it home. The burger was delicious! The burger and toppings looked and tasted fresh. I chose Swiss cheese, garlic and herb mayo, tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles. I have to give them credit for using decent tomatoes this time of year! The fries were plentiful and included the skins...yum. And I give them extra credit for offering malt vinegar in the dining area. Yeah, it's a fast food chain. I finally was able to try it with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. This is a burgers place similar to Five Guys where you can add toppings and sauces, but much better than any do-it-yourself place. The ingredients were fresh and the fries aplenty. We ended up ordering three #1 combos and a chicken combo not knowing we would end up with over two pounds of fries! The burgers were well made, juicy, toppings were plenty and dispersed evenly, the party was huge in that I was able to have it in each bite. My mom loved her chicken sandwich - the meat juicy. So, with a name like "Bigg Burger", I thought it would be the perfect stop.While the burger was very tasty (there are many different options for condiments and toppings, which was impressive!) it wasn't "Bigg". Iv'e passed by Bigg Burger a thousand times and always thought, meh...just another burger dude popped up in town. Well this time was different, not sure if it was something in the air, or the voices I was hearing (in my stomach) saying "eat burger now" (or something like that). In any event, I had the great pleasure of finding myself feasting on a Bigg Burger burger, and I am sure glad I did. As the other reviewers said, the toppings were super fresh tasting and good, the meat patties were decent in size, quality and flavor, and the condiments were really good, but surprisingly with all the things I asked for on the burger, it was not sloppy or overbearing. By the way...try the herb & garlic mayo, it was really tasty. At $7.29 for the #2 double combo (59¢ more for cheese), it was a a great value, was hard to finish, and its important to note that purchasing the same thing at BK or MC-D would cost you more and talk about processed. The previous eatery that used to operate at this address, was thankfully torn down and replaced by this very awesome and relevant burger dealer, I just hope others continue to realize the value, and more importantly the quality here, and forego the multi-kazillion dollar franchise of bland badunkadunkness, believe me...it will be well worth your time, and helps out the little guy. The burgers were tasty and grilled chicken was ideal. They give you tons of options to make the sandwich your own including a choice of cheeses, sauces, grilled mushrooms, sprouts, avocado and on and on! The burgers have that homemade feel but restaurant quality. The average meal price $8.00 which is an awesome value! We dined in but they also a drive- thru! Bonus! A typical burger joint/fast food but you get to build your burger here. (You can also do online ordering to see all the toppings you can choose from i.e: grilled mushrooms, Swiss cheese, garlic mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle etc). The burger was good! You don't get to choose a temperature on the burger because the patties are pretty thin but it was a decent place to try. The only downside were the fries... they were a soggy MESS. I barely ate more than two fries and tossed the rest out. You can't offer a combo and give your customers soggy fries!!! Three stars. read more

I love this place- I live close and would be hesitant to admit how much we eat it. Just plain good fast food burgers. The burgers are fresh, lots of great toppings. Equal to a Five Guys if not better in my mind. The service is friendly- and it's never too crowded so you don't have to wait much longer than it takes to cook a burger fresh. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality. Go for the double- the single just isn't as well balanced meat to toppings to bun. The fish sandwich is also maybe the best fast food fish sandwich I've had. Only quibbles- wish they had a kid's size burger, and the fries while in no way bad are a little uneven. Sometimes a little too greasy or a little too overcooked. I shake my head when I see the line around the building of the McD's up the street. Don't these people know what they're missing? read more
