Quite possibly the best burger I have had in some time. I don't eat many but most recently I have been to Bagger Dave's and Basement Bar Burger and this beat both of them. Quick, fresh and flavorful. Ordered a regular fries and I should have checked them on my way home because I smelled something burning and thought it was my engine. Got home looking forward to fresh cut fries. Almost all of them were burned to a crisp. I believe in giving businesses a chance so I called. Kept going to voicemail and the mailbox was full. Biggest mistake of the day! Well we watched in anticipation as they converted the old Taco Bell into Bigg Burger.........so Opening day we went. It was crowded as expected....but there is no rime or reason as to where you order and where you then stand to pick up your order. We got our order...burger not bad......my wife got a Grilled Cheese...it was smashed flat. She didn't eat it! Now to the fries......If you can't get these right. CLOSE the doors. In order to get them crispy you need to double fry them....you can google search how to make fries crispy. Fives guys even tells you they double fry them. Went back several times over a couple of months......slimy...greasy...undercooked fries. Sorry not my favorite place. This place rocks!! I suspect it was another drive-thru burger joint trying to give McD's and Wendy's some competition. Boy was I wrong. These burgers are in an entire different class that the normal fast food places. The topings certainly part of it but the buns, my god those buns, are amazing and the meat is cooked perfectly. The toppings offered are very diverse including various spreads (blue cheese mayo!) and delicious. The fry's are really good too. I highly recommend this place. My only suggestion is that they offered some suggested choices i.e. a "classic burger" which has normal toppings, and a Tex-Mex which has these toppings, etc. It's almost too much to pick from. In town on business. Saw this was a high-rated burger joint. And I can see why. I like the variety of choices of toppings to put on your burger. Toppings don't taste as fresh as they claim, but they didn't seem like they were yesterday's refrigerated leftovers either. The bun is soft, and doesn't fall apart from all the burger juices. The patty, cooked rather nicely...no grease (a definitely plus) yet juicy too. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Cheeseburger I ordered The only downside was the fries. Yes, I'm glad they were not greasy or basically a fried potato shell (hollow in the center). But they were tasteless, flimsy, and became cold rather quickly. Though I do like how liberal this place is on the amount of fries you get. The staff was friendly and my meal was cooked quickly. The place appeared clean and inviting. I admit I am a huge Electric Six fan. I have been to a lot of their shows and have shouted for them to play this song on numerous occasions. I was truly hoping the counter chick would say, "welcome to big burger may I take your order". This hope and the connection are why I stepped inside at all. Once inside though I realized it is a great one of a kind place to get a quick meal. I stopped in for lunch today and was caught off guard by the options. The menu is straight forward; burger, chicken or fish sandwiches, bacon, hot dogs, salad, fries, etc. The fun part is after you make that first choice you get hit by another twenty or so free ways to upgrade. How many other restaurants would offer free grilled onions and mushrooms as a for instance? No the list isn't as large as basement burgers or bagger dave's but this is a fast food stop and these add-ons are free. If you have an hour so to stop for a great burger absolutely go elsewhere. But as for a fast delicious burger with a lot of topping options come to Bigg Burger. The fries are made fresh and the chili is always hot, they change shake flavors regularly and have breakfast. I was under the impression that Bigg Burger was going to compete with 5 Guys. I expected a great, Beefy, hearty double Burger. What I got, instead, was a whole lot of mushy-sweet bun. The Beef patty was overwhelmed by the cheese and (when I could taste it) seemed to have some strange proprietary spice combo going on. (Cinnamon? Clove? Something along those lines.) To sum up the Burger: Better than McDonald's, on-par with Wendy's, not as good as Burger king and not even in the same league as 5 Guys. The fries were pretty good, if a little too shoestring. We are in the era of a thicker cut, and Bigg Burger did not get the memo. Shoestrings died when McDonalds changed their oil. My Diet Coke was fine. Nice syrup to soda ratio. One thing on the service: One-window Drive through? What is this, 1987? If they ever get popular, this is going to slow things down quite a bit. read more

Big Burger is a wonderful place to have a burger. They are never frozen they don't even own a freezer or microwave. The condiments, and fries are fresh and gormet quality. It has a 50's malt shoppy feel in the dining room. In the summer it probably will have tables on the patio to eat at. It was a great place for a quick burger with the hubby. read more

I wanted to try this place out and get me a "Bigg Burger" but then I noticed the life size model of a cow staring at me in the front window of the place and felt guilty. I am not sure why the owners thought this statue would make people crave a burger. As a veggie patty did not seem to be an option I decided just to get a small chili which they claim they make fresh everyday. I love this place. The burgers are delicious and you can get whatever you want on them. There are a huge variety of toppings including blue cheese mayo(which is delicious). But because they make it all to order, prepare to wait longer in drive through or in line. The food comes out piping hot though. The fries are amazing. The fries were limp and oily which is making me and my mom sick, and the hotdog had plenty of oil and a soggy bun. Overall it was a bad meal. My mom is feeling sick, my stomach is very unhappy like 30 minutes after eating the food. Overall would never go back it sucked so bad. Anyone who likes this place needs to rethink what quality food is because that shit is giving me loose stool and bad stomach gurgling, same goes for my mom. Stopped here at my lunch today as it's around the corner from my office. Was so excited to try it. Their menu is simple, but they focus on fresh, quality ingredients (that got me excited!). The lady that took my order through the drive-through was very friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I waited 17 minutes for my food after ordering...I do NOT consider that fast food. I would have preferred to go to Basement Burger Bar or another sit down burger place if I was going to wait that long. The food came and the fries were amazing. Some of the best French fries I've ever had. The yummy kind with the skin from the potato still on there and they're super crunchy and fresh. YUM! Unfortunately the burger was a sad story. I and my wife had gone to Mr. Biggs several times. However, today will be my last. Aside from the screaming, bratty kids running around, the food was terrible. I ordered a burger combo including a burger, fries and a drink. There are about three dozen toppings for the burgers. I ordered just fried onions for my burger. After placing my order I waited and waited and waited. Finally, I asked the order taker where my order was. This was after about ten minutes of waiting. My order was on their table. The fries were overcooked and luke warm and the burger was soggy with about a teaspoon of fried onions. With three dozen toppings to choose I think they could have given me enough onions to top the burger. The cooking was inferior and so was the service. Adios, Bigg Burger. read more

Burgers....wow! I really like the burgers here. Yes they are a little greasy and yes they can be sloppy with all the toppings they offer but thats what makes a good burger. If you have never been here think of Wendys style but MUCH better!!! They are a little pricey ($5-$8) but you get what you pay for. No freezers, no microwaves, just good, real meat. Im not a big fry guy but did have the chili cheese fries and liked them but they are a little soggy. If you like crisp fries def dont get the Chili\Cheese on them. As others mention it's an old Taco Bell but they did a good job of giving the building it's own style. They also have shakes and other stuff on the menu but I didnt try it all...yet!
