This is probably the quickest, most reliable, and most friendly location I have ever been to. I'm blessed to have this location so close to my house, so of course I was going to stop in and see how this Biggby matches up to the rest of them. Without a doubt, this location is the best. I'm an early riser so I'm usually in around 6 or earlier, depending on the hours that they have posted. There's rarely a line, which is great, and there's always a friendly face behind the counter reminding me of what is new or if I want to upgrade to a different size or get the sweet foam add on. The coffees are always prepared very timely and very flavorful. I haven't had a burnt tasting coffee or one with lack of flavor yet. My "go-to" drink is an iced coffee, whatever flavor looks good at the time (usually the seasonal one), with whipped cream. If I have a coupon for an extra shot of espresso I'll use that too. This location definitely accepts any of the coupons. read more

My husband and I ordered iced lattes and neither one of them was very good. Mine was the honey cinnamon and his was the mocha. Maybe the coffee portion was missing? We probably should have gone back in to remedy the situation but we were limited on time. Also, the chocolate chip cookie we got had one chocolate chip and was stale and soft/soggy. Too much money wasted for 2 drinks and a cookie to be bad. I will say the staff was friendly and helpful, so there's that. read more

I'm really on the fence about Biggby, and have mulled over how to even write this review for starters. I've been coming here on and off for the past month since I started my new job literally across the street. Don't get me wrong, I like it here, but not without a few points of "you could do better." For starters, the place is pretty good about seating and staff. There's plenty of both and the people that have waited on me have been nice. But, Biggby is priced like a Starbucks. I hate this. I mean, I'm not cheap, but dang, $5 for a mocha! Also, I randomly am a biggby member card holder. This part pisses me off because they have very few good reasons to even belong. It just isn't worth it. By a Monday or Wednesday drink special coffee? NO points because it's on special. purchase a banana or food? No points. Why have a club card then? UGH. Also, their food here is just okay and very limited. I will say, their muffins are delicious! Their bagels don't seem to appeal to me that much. I think most of their stuff is brought in from off site. This normally doesn't phase me for a coffee shop, but I wish they would have better quality bagels. Overall, place is decent, and it's convenient for me early in the morning when I need to sit down for a few, have some coffee, and get a hold of myself before work. 3 stars forever. Best coffee shop around. I come here almost everyday and the consistency of kindness and tasty drinks never fail. The owner, the employees, and the quality coffee keep me coming back. I also love walking up to the shop and seeing all the little details. Everything from the cute chalkboard outside, trivia questions, baristas of the day, and seasonal decor. Hours posted on line are not accurate. Waited at the drive through this morning . No one was moving. I pulled up and asked the car at the speaker if anyone had taken their order and she said "no". I drove around front and tried the door. A gentleman inside waved me around to the drive through. He never came to take my order. I saw at least 5 cars drive away. It's early morning 645am. Most of us have somewhere to be, for example work at a certain time. If you're closed , short staffed, whatever don't be waving us around to the drive through and not coming to take our order. I understand things happen but if you weren't going to come to take my order in the time it took to leave this epic review then do NOT wave me round. This location is under new ownership. While the staff is exceptional and I love their coffee I will have to avoid in the future. I'm leaving 1 star because I never got to purchase a coffee beverage and now I'm late for work. read more

This Biggby location is phenomenal. The customer service is great. Im always greeted when I first enter the door, by my first name from those that know me. I've noticed (with myself and others) that the employees make an effort to learn their customers names and drink orders. I sit there frequently, either to drink my beverage (which are so great and tasty - there are so many combinations of drinks that aren't even on the posted menu above the counter) or to work on my art or writing. The ambiance is always warm and welcoming. I go in to play cards with my friend every week and keep going back. It's one of my favorite hangout spots. The owner, Liz, is one of the sweetest people. It's evident that she cares not only for her employees, but her customers as well. I love it so much at this location and think others will too. read more

The nicest, cleanest, sweetest biggby around! Ever since the Rochester location closed, this has been my go to spot! I was able to meet the owner, and during the crazy rush she kept her composure, communicated with her team, and went above and beyond. Their breakfast bagels are always a hit! Always fresh and warm. I'm a regular here because of the staff. There are a lot of young people with great attitudes and and positivity working here. Coffee is coffee to me. There are plenty of options. All of the baristas here are absolutely amazing! They always get my drink right, and go above and beyond to give the best experience possible. They always offer great suggestions, especially that maple waffle bacon egg and cheese! Yummy! The owner is so knowledgeable, and is always very involved with the customers and her staff. You can tell she takes care of not only her staff but her customers as well. This location is the best biggby I've ever visited. I'll definitely be coming here on the way to work every morning. We love this Biggby location! My Mom and I have been coming to this location for years (even when it was the previous owner). The new owner is fantastic. Liz always stops to talks to me, and she always remembers the little details. The staff is friendly and they are great at getting everything right; my latte order is always complicated and always correct. Personally, I prefer Biggby over Starbucks. One reason is that they aren't just a grab-your-coffee-and-go kind of place. Biggby has board games you can play if you're sitting with friends, a fireplace, and some locations have a create your own ice cream station with suggestions how to make one, like this location does. Another reason is the workers seem a lot more friendly. But then again, I usually just do to the drive thru when I'm at Starbucks. Also, Biggby has an Autumn hot tea that is perfect for cold weather. I don't even add sugar or honey and it's amazing. Biggby for the win! read more

Went to this location with my family and it was super clean. Like honestly my toddler was like "wow look at this clean bathroom" since most public restrooms are nasty. You could tell the staff was super kind and efficient. They had our order out in no time and even chatted us up a bit. It was a great experience and honestly I wish this Bigby was closer to us so it could be our hangout spot. Unfortunately, we were just in the area for an event and had a little time to kill so stopped in to fuel up. Super cute and clean and they had just opened their drive thru window! The staff are super friendly! He was so helpful and social. This location just got a Milkster set up. Liquid nitrogen ice cream, make you own mix-ins bar. Oreo with chocolate chips, sweet cream base with a little chocolate base... amazeballs! So so creamy and delicious and I am not an ice cream die hard. This made me want to go back... of course, I made that for my son - I unfortunately had a tall delicious frozen mocha caramel quad espresso. I couldn't ditch that but I wanted too! Coffee here is excellent. Unlike the regular coffees at Starbucks, I have found that brewed coffee is not burnt tasting. Usually, I enjoy a latte or cappuccino though. Also excellent service with friendly and fast staff! I like coming here to support my local Troy businesses. It's quiet and cozy, especially in the evenings. A great place to get work done or play the Nintendo switch while pretending to get work done. Biggby's all have quirky decor and sell greeting cards but it is kind of endearing. I recently moved away and a few months prior to me moving, I wanted to give Biggby a try. I lived in Troy almost all my life and never went in. I can't believe I never did, because I ended up going back! First and foremost, the staff was sweet every single time! They recommend things when I asked questions and they just seemed so happy to help. The coffee wasn't my favorite, but the large was huge! Worth the money. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious! The coffee and good comes out super quick. They always gave me coupons for my next visit. It's a small little location with a few tables, but it would make a good study spot. When I moved, I know they were adding a drive-thru. I'm so happy i tried it because I'm all for supporting local/family run businesses, especially in Troy. I wish I had it where I live now because I'd totally go all the time! read more

Came here super excited to try the nitro ice cream the first week they opened. From the very second we walked in it was clear that the two teenage boys working inside did NOT want to be there. One was very rude blatantly rolling his eyes and scoffing when we told him they were out of certain toppings. The ice cream was sooooo good. But the experience, (which has the potential to be SUPER FUN) was too unwelcoming & unpleasant. Don't think we'll be back. read more
