I can't believe I've never reviewed this location. I've come here multiple times over the years, both for work and personal reasons. It's actually a consistently good location and I've never had a bad experience yet. It's in a busier shopping complex and part of town, so it's never really super quiet here. The staff has always been attentive and wonderful when I've stayed in for a beverage or had to take something out. Coffee's always good, along with other beverages I've ordered from here. Location's neat and clean, and parking's good considering it's in a strip mall, next to a bagel shop and a Kroger. While it's not a standard location for me, I like coming here because I can count on everything going well when I am. Not all Starbucks are created equal. Over the years, I've been to a few where the staff was grossly overworked and snappy, or the place was a hot mess. They are not that here, which makes for a much better experience. read more

This is my first time at this Starbucks location, and I did mobile ordering to go. 20 of my stars are expiring tomorrow and I didn't want them to go to waste. My usual Starbucks order is a chai tea latte with soy milk and that's what I got here. I arrived about 10 minutes after I placed the order and the order hadn't been started yet, but the reason was they wanted to know if I wanted it iced or hot. I was glad they waited versus making me an iced drink, as it's December and I definitely wanted a hot version of it. This is in the large shopping plaza at John R and Big Beaver and it's always very trafficky but there are a lot of parking spots right near the Starbucks. I would order again from this Starbucks based on this experience. read more

I'd never order anything from this location due to unprofessional dirty staff. I watch the 2 workers in images work in slomotion carrying a personal conversation while preparing orders incorrectly such as making the wrong drink, not washing hands after dealing with cash & bagging delivery orders with inside bags exposed when both are suppose to be sealed in a attempt to make the customer think the driver tampered with the delivery rider. If they don't like the way you look clearly that'll determine how you'll be treated. Watch them closely. Lovely spacious place with friendly staff and quick service. Oat milk chai latte was tasty and extra hot as requested. Regular latte was great as well. Location has lots of seatings and nice bright interior. This is also one of the top rated Starbucks locations in the area and that is for a reason. Place is nicely taken care of. When you have an hour or so to kill, Starbucks may come to mind. In this case we had just hit White Castle to satisfy my craving that I have had for a while and had a little over an hour before our final appointment of the day. It's kind of hidden in plain sight if you haven't been here before and I drive past it initially. It's actually on a corner of a strip mall and once you find it you can't miss it. Because of its location it has no drive thru. Interior is long and deep with the order and pick up counters in the middle. We had just eaten but not overly stuffed so we split a slice of Iced Lemon Pound Cake, a trio of their Vanilla Mini Scones, and a couple of regular drip coffee. I had previously loaded some gift card credits onto the Starbucks App and, once I figured out how to access it, it went rather smoothly, as it should. I'm not a coffee person. I actually don't drink coffee. I stopped here on both a Friday and Saturday morning to pick up coffee orders for a few people. I expected this place to be packed, but it seems that they are so efficient, that they can get people in and out in minutes. It was kind of amazing to watch. On Saturday there was no one in line behind me and I felt a little adventurous, so I asked the barista what they could make me that was not coffee, didn't have 1 million grams of sugar, was also non-dairy, and still tasted good. After talking through a few options I ended up with some sort of modified iced chai tea latte with soy milk. It was definitely not something I would have ever been able to come up with on my own, but now I've got it saved on my phone for future Starbucks visits. They've got a really awesome team of people here. Super friendly, incredibly helpful, and amazingly efficient. read more

ordered an iced coffee and a sandwich. The iced coffee was ready in 3 minutes and was properly made. The sandwich I gave up on after 20 minutes. I watched the young lass running the microwave. She was laughing and carrying on with work mates instead of working. Then she got busy making sandwiches but instead of walking them over to the pick up area she let them sit on the counter by the microwave for 9 minutes then when she had 8 food items stacked up she toted them over to the pickup area and dropped them on the counter. back at the microwave I see her making my sandwich and see her put the label with my name on it. she leaves it sitting on the counter by the microwave. I observe another employee pick up 2 food items off the counter (one of which was mine) and I think she is going to bring them to the pickup area. Nope, she went out the backdoor. I waited to see if she would return. But she didn't. Won't be back. read more

Really nice Starbucks on the inside. It is super spacious with long table connected and chairs. They have little charging sections too. They have other seating as well. It is much bigger than the other Starbucks locations I am used to. It is also busier with people sitting around working on homework or other things. I saw a lot of business men and women dressed up in suits. There was definetely a lot of professionally dressed individuals coming in an out. Super fancy and rich. I definetely stick out when I walk in with my dirt covered knees and boots when I am landscaping. I love that the man at the register treated me just like the person in front of me. He didn't give me a dirty look or judge me based on my appearance. He gave me a warm smile and tone, which was awesome. Usually, I see workers give me odd looks for my clothing. It was great to be treated the same way, eapecially in a richer area with guests dressed up so nicely. Money is money I suppose. read more

Someone wrote this place is small. It might seem narrow, but plenty of spots to relax or read, AND has wall outlets! Also read a lot that a downside is that they don't have drive thrus, but how could you have one if it isn't it's own separate building... and stuck between other stores... Nice baristas, pretty quiet as opposed to other Starbucks where you can't even hear your own thoughts cause the loud music. Check this one out! read more

This Starbucks is always busy, so use the app and order ahead! I ordered using the app, then went across the street and filled up my tank at Speedway. When I entered there were 6 people waiting for drinks, but mine were ready and waiting for me--SHAZAAM!! This is just a solid Starbucks location. I come here about three times a week after my workout and they are always friendly and efficient. I use the mobile app to place my order before I arrive and they prepare it before I get to the pick-up counter. They perfectly make my beverages every time, so I have never have a complaint. This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. I walked in with not 1 customer in line; waited 4-5 minutes to order because the employees would rather talk then help me. After finally place my order I got my coffee in a timely fashion but my food I did not. After my food was ready and the timer went off I watched the employee take it out and set it on the counter and then proceeded to talk to the other employee for literally over 5 minutes while my food was just waiting to be put in a sleeve and handed to me. Instead I got a cold breakfast and 10 minute delay to work because the employees would rather chat then help customers. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in the area. Always fast, staff is extremely friendly and drinks/food always perfect. I actually have one closer to my home, but prefer this one and don't mind driving a little further. I usually place a mobile order so I don't have to wait long or at all for my order. Sounds like the cast of Friends in there as they just stand around talking about Steven Universe and Gravity Falls. Hours say they close at nine and the doors are locked 15 minutes early. Either update your hours or employees lock the door early. Not happy

They get a 5 star review from me! My drinks are usually (most of the time) complicated. Sometimes I get the "Fuzzy Peach (half iced tea half water made with peach syrup instead of regular)". Sometimes the "Caramel Brûlée Frap (seasonal winter drink, not complicated)". Sometimes the "Caramel Frap with extra extra EXTRA Caramel Drizzle (all season drink, not complicated). Sometimes the "Vietnamese Coffee (Iced Coffee made w No whip on any drink, AT ALL. I only needed to tell them once and they're always on top of it. I think that this is the best location ever. As former resident of the area who saw this Sbucks first open when in high school and now looking at it evolved into what it is as a business from an adult standpoint, I have seen the building itself gone through several changes. In the end, it is still not my fav Sbucks mostly because the lack of electrical outlets and odd seating in general is frustrating. Granted, there is certainly much more varied seating options than when it started: It's now equipped with a few tables outside the store front; a couple lounge chairs, two-person tables and one wheel-chair accessible table in the area near the windows; and then the couch, two-person tables and booth in the back. Way back when, I remember cramming a 20-person study group for an AP mirco test in the back area with a few of us sitting on crates. However, some of these two-person tables face the bathroom doors - gross. And many don't have electrical outlets nearby, so what I have sometimes been left to do is work at a couch (not very ergonomic for someone who grades papers all day at Sbucks) and awkwardly asking if I could string my laptop cord parallel to the thresh hold of one of the bathroom doors. In the end, it is really a prime location being near the freeway and in a busy plaza. However, it would be even better if it had drive-thru capability. read more

Located in a convenient location. There is a quiet area in the back with tables for if you are looking for a place to work. The lighting is on the dimmer side. In front, there is a large rectangular table with 2 smaller tables and a few leather chairs. This Starbucks is packed during busy hours so finding an open space to work might be difficult. The large windows in the front lets in plenty of natural light so it's nice place to sit and enjoy your Starbucks drinks. There are a couple of tables outside of the store as well. The baristas are nice and the I've never had trouble with my mobile orders. read more

Would have honestly been five stars but the employees we came to know no longer work here and it's as if they've more people on rotation than usual so, it's always a new face when I'm there. Familiarity was nice. Now it's no longer there. What sets this place apart from any other Starbucks near me? The decaf espresso in my drinks doesn't taste burnt. A lot of others that I frequent always have that all too noticeable taste of a pot of coffee left on the burner too long. Not cool, sbucks, not cool. We stopped in for a quick afternoon refreshment so I had just a few minutes to glance around at the space. Personally, I'm always seeking a Starbucks that has adequate features for working and this place seemed to have it all. The front dining area offered several large tables against the walls, which I assume would have plugs for charging laptops. The bonus that caught my eye was a large back room that had even more tables arranged in a very conducive way for working. There were even several tables outside for a fresh air "sidewalk cafe" experience. Definitely a plus! There is lovely artwork on the walls and low lighting. No doubt, this would be my working-offsite destination of choice. And right beside the bagel shop? Perfect! One thing to note: there is no is no drive-through which might be discouraging to the daily commuter. But, our service was fast and friendly on a Monday afternoon. My iced mocha was perfect, as was my daughters lime refresher. Overall, thumbs up. read more

One of the best Starbucks I've been to. The coffee didn't taste burnt and it wasn't overly sweet. The staff is pretty friendly too. Once, I went there and I ordered two soy caramel mocchiatos. But they gave me two caramel mocciatos with dairy in it. So I told them, and they let me keep the old two and made me two new cups of mocchiatos with soy. Rude. Slow. Incompetent. Anyone in the service industry really shouldn't be all three. I ordered a simple drink, one customization. 1.) the barista taking my order corrected me which would be fine if done politely not condescendingly. 2.) there was no one in front of me or behind (also no drive thru) and it took the barista over ten minutes to make my drink which brings me to 3.) remade my drink twice, the first time without being asked and the second time I requested it. If people are spending $6-$8 on a drink they deserve to have it done to their liking. So glad this isn't my regular Starbucks. read more

I went to this location today to order my only drink I like at Starbucks, their Mocha. After waiting in line (a Saturday morning) it was my turn at the register, only to have the cashier tell me they could not break my $50 bill, which was all I had with me. Thankfully, my fix was satisfied quickly next door at Einstein Bros, but I could not help feeling like my Saturday morning jovial mood was momentarily threatened. It is ridiculous not to have enough cash to make change for customers who are willing to spend $5 on a single cup of milk and chocolate syrup. At the very least, theycoild have looked at the back office if they had any cash before effectively shoving it in my face that my money's denomination was an inconvenience to them and therefore undesirable. I will not go there anymore. Einstein Bros is perfectly capable of getting my money in exchange for my Weekend mocha and daily java fix. read more
