Used to come here with my friend. She had a boyfriend of like 4 years and when we went she would give her number to guys. I always stood there while she was flirting with the guys. The place has a nice vibe, but I didn't like what was happening to me. Every Sunday she kept wanting to go with me. It was fun at first, then it just felt wrong. I thought it was strange when she never invited her boyfriend. I never tried the food, but the staff is nice. I also never tried the drinks. I just stood around. The ceiling is cool there too so if you get bored there's plenty of stuff to look at. I stopped being friends with her because she made out with my brother. But yeah this place is legit. Funny characters. Although the bathrooms made my anxiety worse permanently I think.

Firstly This is always been a wonderful place, for the past 31 years! Country western dancing, (they' probably have other types of music, but every time I come in, it'scountry-western and that's OK with me. There are pool tables, and groups are usually polite about letting the next patrons have their turns. I've never purchased fancy mixed drinks here, it's more of a beer place to me. I don't remember buying anything but chicken wings here! The facade esp during the daytime can use an updated paint job. I've always appreciated the fact that they consistently ID/card people before entering. There have been other local bars and dance places, but they come and go, but this big shots Billards, seems to always be here to stay. I recall a time where line dancing and cowboy boots were extremely popular. I believe that was in the 90s or late 80s. This place was really popular then especially (aging myself here). lol When I come here, it's more for a nostalgic memory. It's nice to know that for nightlife this has always been a choice, and we appreciate that.

Incredible time with my friends. I haven't been in about 4 years and it was still just as fun. Brice was the friendly bouncer, and DP & Christina were my friendly bartenders! I danced to the first song but found myself with two left feet! We played pool and the boys danced and were silly and overall it was a good time. We don't go out and drink often but it was nice to go back and have it be just as fun as I remembered. Be kind to the service workers, they deal with drunk bollucks daily and you don't wanna be that person.

This place sucks. They said they were open until 2am but it's 1am and they wouldn't let us in. Don't waste your time. They are jerks.

Paid the $5 cover to check out the tables on a Friday night. They had a live band so I thought it would be promising. Unfortunately, the large amount of cigarette smoke within this establishment turned us away. The billiards tables were in poor condition and at an hourly rate of $17, it was a far stretch. No darts and a limited bar. We forfeited the cover charge and left because it just wasn't vibing.

Very large facility. Has a very Large dance floor. A fourth of the place is pool tables. Has a Decent sized L-shaped bar. Good food pricing. Large sized food portions. Has a stage for Live bands/entertainment. Lots of TVs at the bar, for sports games.

9 pool tables in one room is rare in orange county! High quality cloth on 9ft tables.

9 pool tables, live music, kids are allowed with adults, 18 year olds can come for pool and live music, great servers and bartenders. Food is really good for a bar. Everyone is so nice.

I call it the big red barn ~ off the 5 fwy at El Toro. It's a big saloon with music, a dance floor, lots of billiard tables, and a bar area. Seeking a friendly place to go out dancing, I've tried Bigshots a couple of times. If you like line dancing, they've got it. Personally, I'm a West Coast Swing dancer, and line dancing doesn't give me the same thrills. For me, better when there was a live band than on a line dancing night. The place is spacious and clean, and has hightop tables for seating. Once past the front door security and $5 cover charge, the clientele is welcoming. On my last visit, the bartender Mike/Michael, was rude. I read reviews that said he was very friendly, not to me. Perhaps my request for a single malt scotch was overwhelming for him. He had little to zero knowledge of what I was asking for. I took my scotch and my Modelo and sat near the billiard tables with a view of the dance floor. Waitresses were accommodating. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is okay for bar food. I had a hamburger there once and I've seen other folks eating wings and things. Wish there was a country bar in South Orange County with more focus on the music and the dancing. This is so nearby for me that I had really hoped to love it. ‍ *BUT, the two taco trucks in the parking lot are outstanding! They're there daily from 3PM to midnight. Both very different and delicious. I've tried them both a few times now and I prefer the green truck over the yellow truck.

Mike the bartender is a badass! so hardworking, so sweet & funny! thank u for putting up w us

After work, I've took a long drive from North Orange County all the way to Lake Forest (South…read moreOrange County) for some food and drink at Jarrod Schulz's The Rush Bar and Grill. It's my first time at this bar and hopefully not the last. Now time for the fun part. I sat at the bar area to not only have a small talk with a bartender, but also have a decent drink, my usual drink at a dive bar or sports bar is the jack and coke (Jack Daniels and Coca-cola). Gotta love it. For the food.... I got me some southwest egg rolls, and California burger. Yum. First off, egg rolls was sooooo delicious, especially with that special sauce.... really nice kick to it. California burger is so good. Added bonus, I had some sauce leftover which I've tried it on the burger. Soooo good. Cost wasn't too bad. 10.95 for the egg rolls, 18.95 for the burger, and $10 for the jack and coke. Oh, and I didn't forget to tip the lady (bartender). Funny thing is, she had no idea I'm left handed. I'm just glad my parents never smacked my left hand for writing with my left hand. Before I left the parking lot, some guy saw me, and was telling me how great Jarrod is. I've heard of him long time ago. One day, I'll introduce myself to Jarrod. Hopefully soon enough. See ya around, try not to get your left hand smacked, ya?

Not surprised .., but…read more I've been a regular at this bar since before it was bought out by the new owner Jared. I have been coming here for years and years and sometimes come by around four times a week. On Fourth of July, my man and I stopped by like usual since we always know people who are there (all the other regulars) and decided to go out to the patio to sit down for a smoke with them. We were sitting for about 10 minutes before Jared sent a worker to come kick us out because we didn't buy a drink. First off, I'm sorry I'm not an alcoholic and didn't buy a drink within the first few minutes of sitting down. Second off, how do you have the audacity to do that to a regular who has brought in so much profit and friends throughout the years for you? I literally gave you business. All I can say is that he looked like a fool. Not happy.

Bryce is incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming, remembers faces, checks in at the right moments and keeps the energy upbeat without ever being overbearing. Jo was also great and added to the warm, inviting atmosphere, but Bryce really anchors the experience behind the bar. The crowd during trivia is always fun and lively, which makes the night fly by. The burger was excellent juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right and the menu is moderately priced, especially considering the quality. I overall had a great experience here!…read more My partner and I shared the breakfast sandwich (which came with a side of country style potatoes) and the strawberry cream soufflé cakes. Firstly, the breakfast sandwich was one of the best things i've ever had. It was so flavorful, the egg inside was so soft and there was so much packed into that sandwich. The bun was buttery and the potatoes that come on the side are so crispy. Secondly, the soufflé cakes are nothing too special. They lack flavor, most of the flavor coming from the cream on top and the strawberries served on the side. I would say they are good for pictures but the taste themselves is just lacking. The restaurant is a cute little spot, I didn't notice too much indoor seating but there are plenty of spots outside. You order yourself inside and the workers bring the food out, everyone working there was super kind! I will definitely be coming back for that sandwich!!
