This place is trash. Went on a Thursday night to check it out for the first time. My mother had given my son a gift card at Christmas for this place. Apparently what we had was an old player card that had no monetary value to it, so my mom was completely scammed on this. We waited 20 mins for a bay. Staffing shortages and maybe lacking management appears to be the issue here. Not a clean location. Drinks were not good. Food selection was poor. Food ordered was forgotten and some items we received were not what the menu stated. Overall a major disappointment and waste of money. Please go to Top Golf - same price but a way better experience overall from facilities to food/drinks. We will never return. read more

We did one of the party packages, which online looks much better online than in person. The app package they have will actually give you about $120 worth of food, and you do get unlimited drinks, but that only happens if you can get the server's attention or if you can find the server. They included a mandatory gratuity. My problem, outside of it being a complete rip-off, are that when we booked, we notated that the event was for someone with a gluten allergy, not a big deal since the order screen said someone would be calling to confirm the booking and going over what the details would be. Well, they didn't. They just emailed a receipt type email. Of course, they now have to "comp" a couple of gluten free options since they didn't think or plan ahead. We asked upon arrival about paying the last half of the money, they said that we would be doing that at the end, but when the end came and we asked about paying, they had already run the payment. They topped this off with not giving us a togo box for the bit of pizza that was left, they refused to give us one. Overall, we had an evening of bad bar food and subpar service, which, had we just shown up, would have definitely been cheaper than their party pack. read more

We were very disappointed after having my son's birthday party here this past weekend. Food was decent, however, the service was a little unprepared with only one person it seemed handling a party of 16 children and 7 adults. However, the biggest disappointment and the reason why I will not be recommending this place for children's birthday parties, is that we were "forced" into having to spend a $300 credit for food. We fed all kids and adults without any problem for $200 and were not informed during the course of the day at all that any unspent credit would be lost. At the end of the party we were told that we could call Amber Ivey, the Director of sales to discuss the possibility of getting credit for this unspent $100. Well that conversation was not a pleasant experience as I was told that no credits or refunds are given at all. So I just gave them $100 for nothing!!! If this info was giving to me after the party I would have at least offered to get the parents drinks or something for the kids to eat. I wasn't expecting a refund, but at the very least some credit to be used for later visits. But I was very rudely told, we don't do that! Very poor insight and relationship building I felt from someone whose role it is to manage sales and customer relations. To add to this, for a party of 14 kids..... we phoned prior to the party to confirm they'd have enough kids size clubs (right and left) for a party and we were reassured that this would be the case.... Well..... that WAS NOT the case.... We only had a choice of maybe 3 half decent clubs to utilize for the 3 bays we booked. After asking multiple times for additional clubs.... Nothing was arranged and eventually the children just gave in and used women's clubs way too big for them.... Very disappointing experience considering we paid $600 for my son's birthday and had so many other options we could've rather gone with. This place sucks compared to TopGolf... Service is decent but the technology used to track the balls is HORRIBLE. Half of the time it doesn't even track. I don't know what approach TopGolf has on ball tracking, but it is far superior to this. Especially disappointing since we paid $32 an hour for a mediocre experience. For a Father's Day Sunday, Big Shots didn't take reservations but said we'd be fine if we showed up around 11a. We showed up at 1045a to a crowded house. 1 hour and 30 to 45 minute wait. No problem. We'll order food. 30 minutes later, I had to ask the bartender it there was any one to take our order? She sighed heavily (after telling another patron that there "should be" some silverware at the bus station!) She informed me that she was the only one on duty behind the bar and for the full restaurant. (What the??!?!?). She was overwhelmed. So who doesn't take reservations on one of the busiest days for men? Who only schedules ONE server in a full restaurant on Father's Day? That leaves a lot to be desired and a bad taste. Couldn't tell you how fun it was to hit golf balls as we left to get something to eat elsewhere (Los Compadres in Roanoke) and never got the chance because we were busy eating and couldn't get back in 15 minutes. Do better. Maybe you'll get more than 2.5 stars. read more

We enjoyed friends and family night. Will definitely be going back. Excited to see the employees learn how to work together making the wheels of the company operations flow smoother. We love this new family entertainment option that is so convenient to our neighborhood! It's a great place to hang out and have some fun! Even the kiddos love hitting golf balls! :) Braydon was our server and he was awesome! We showed up with a group of people and we never waited for drinks. Braydon kept checking in on us and even Justin one of the managers popped by to make sure we had everything we needed. All of the food we have tried here was really tasty! The little ones loved the s'mores sundae! Lily Salinas is the GM and she really cares about the service here! We will definitely be back and often. Family and I went here around 4:30p on a Friday a couple weeks ago. It wasn't very busy so we got right in. The food, drinks and service was great - no complaints there at all. Only thing that could've been better was the sensors that determine where the ball lands -- they only seemed to work about half the time for any of us. Hopefully that's something easy to fix for them. All in all we had a good time and the employees were nice - we just wish we knew what our actual scores were :) read more

Very unpleasant experience. Let me first start by saying I've never left a negative review for any business, as I try to give them the benefit of the doubt. First of all, they don't take any reservations, which is a set up for problems down the line, especially when they get established and are busy. We came on a Sunday (so we were anticipating a wait), and were told it would be about 30 minutes, and feel free to grab drinks and food in the bar area during that time. We grabbed a table, and waited around for about 15 minutes hoping they might have a server coming around. We eventually figured that wasn't a possibility, and approached the bar where we were ignored for another good 15 minutes by 2 bartenders with a not particularly busy bar. After we got our drinks, we continued to wait, and after an hour (since arriving), I went and inquired how much longer it may be. At that time they said it would probably be another 45 minutes! Just to be clear, longer than the initial time we were given after waiting for an hour. Completely unacceptable. We will happily drive to top golf if we want a reasonable experience. They at least seem to care about their customers. Shocking that such a new place would be so terribly managed. read more

I was here last Saturday with a group of 6 and we had a great time! Our reso was at 12:45 and the hostess was super helpful in helping us get started since we hadn't been there before. The service was great! We had the bartender upstairs as our server and he was so attentive and made sure we always had drinks. I saw the other bad reviews and it seems like they have worked to resolve some of the service issues. Overall a really fun atmosphere and I enjoyed the food too! We really wanted to enjoy it. After reading other reviews we seemed to have the same Problems. Technology was off and only registered about 40% of the kid's shots. We technically didn't have a waiter so the bartender came out to serve us. He only came out to take our order and that was it. Had to go back into the bay for refills. We're do I begin, my experience with my husband and son will leave me not wanting to come back. I booked and paid for a bay on line for 6:30pm-8:30pm, upon arrival we waited our turn to check in. When I told the employe we had a reservation he then told us they had a technical problem with over booking and that our bay wasn't ready and he didn't know when it would be ready and would do what he could. So we asked to if we could wait at the bar and if he would hopefully work this out with a manager because I was frustrated. We waited 30 minutes past our check in time the employee did update us often letting us know he was doing his best. My son had been before with his friends and said they had the SAME experience as well which I had hoped wouldn't be the same when we came back so this puts again a bad taste in my mouth about this business. My husband and I ordered a drink each at the bar which I noticed about an hour later we got double charged for. Then a bay became available and we were ushered up to be seated to play and our waitress greater us we ordered food and drinks and began to play. The games are not accurate we're you hit the balls so that was frustrating to play with but still ok because we are by no means professionals just to have fun. Then an hour in it kicks us off and has someone else's name which we paid for 2 hours so we tell someone and it takes them about 20 minutes to fix it. So we proceed to play again and this is when I noticed the extra bar charge on my bank account so after our time I planned on asking a manager. So we proceeded to play our game only for it to end about 35 minutes in and once again kicked us off for someone else's name. By this time I was DONE and just wanted to get a manager and go home. So we told a manager about the bar situation with my bank charge which he then got a manager names heather. She helped us with understanding we did get double charged and she drastically apologized and said she would do what she could to fix it. I told her I completely understand things happen it was just a lot of mess ups and no one saying anything until I got a manager. I for sure won't be back it wasn't an enjoyable time! read more

Love the concept but was generally disappointed. What's the point of making a reservation if you have to wait 30 mins. This place is only a couple years old but it's already falling apart at the seams. Furniture is dirty and stained, golf clubs are all dented up and tee boxes are tore up. Sad how poorly management handles their staff and resources the way that they do. Not happy with recent visit. I booked online for 1hr. I was told I couldn't be seated until my exact appt time because my waiter doesn't "show up" until 5:00, so I didn't get to my table and into the hitting area to enter screen info so I could hit balls, and put in a drink order until 5:15!!! At 5:45 I began getting reminders that my time was up in 15 minutes. Because I chose to order food as well... I had about 20 minutes total of practicing and hitting golf balls. NOT happy!!! So... my advice... this establishment needs to work on training their employees, change booking/appointment/reservation times to 1hr 15 min each so that patrons can actually enjoy their time and PLAY for 1 hr. You can't order food, have a drink and eat something in 1hour!!!!! And if you're too busy to allow people to extend their time.... How will they be able to stay long enough to spend more money? It's a problem and you should fix it quickly if you want to remain in business. Your rating is very low... so when do you plan on making changes and improving? I'll be back then. read more

We had one lefty in the group and they provided clubs for her. Service was very attentive. Appetizers were plentiful, entrees (burgers, chicken sandwiches & wings) were good. I came to enjoy a Friday night with some friends and the "lead bartender" Cass came up to us, looked drunk and completely lost it yelling at us trying to show authority after we only had only 1 round of drinks. After 2 hours has gone by and still no bay....I decided to check the 2nd floor to see if any bays were open. To my surprise the 2nd floor was completely empty!! As I was walking down the attendants at the front desk noticed my concern. They assured me that a bay was available. Well another 30 mins pass and nothing so we just left. That is after I had to close my tab and tell the bartender how many drinks he made for us. I will NEVER visit this establishment again! From the reviews of technology not up to par with top golf to the lack of quality service. Everyone there seemed to not care at all. They are completely understaffed and it shows. We are currently here on Father's Day as I write this and it's almost a joke. This place has huge potential but whoever is running it needs to get their crap together. For one, it's Father's Day, how were they not prepared for a busy Sunday? We were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait at 10:00 am. It is 11:30 am and still no bay and only been checked on once in the restaurant. We wanted to order food but will go elsewhere for that once finished if we ever get a bay. There is currently 8 tables completely full in the restaurant area with one bartender to take care of us. She is also responsible for taking care of all the bays as well. She's apologized and we know it isn't her fault. It took us 15 mins before even waited on for drinks and then another 15 to get them. I've watched 4-5 families already walk out the front door from getting tired of waiting on someone to take their drink/food order.. The guy at the front stated that they don't have enough servers to open all the bays. Again how are they not fully staffed? You can see about 5-6 empty bays on level 1. Advise for everyone - take the extra time to drive little further south to Top Golf. Much better experience! read more

If another two or three groups showed up they wouldn't have had enough people to take care of everyone. I think the food was better than Top Golf and the golfing interface is just as nice. The chairs in the bay were very dirty. The menu was filthy and we did not want to touch it. The ball feeder was blocked by the mat and we had to dig the ball out of the crevice before each hit. Upon arrival, our server clearly didn't want to be there, and warned us that waiting on everyone would be a hassle because he had so many customers. I've never seen such slow service. It took at least 30 minutes to get our drinks. We eventually moved inside to order food, which never arrived. After such terrible service we finally left. Pretty expensive with a crew that just isn't there yet. Should prolly wait to go till it's running smooth, and they should offer discounts during their pre open.
