I really liked Bigz Boba. I'm not usually one to go for blended coffee drinks, but the fat turtle was a hit. There's a lot going on (coffee jelly, caramel, Oreo bits, a little bit of deez nuts and of course coffee frap), but I'm not complaining. Everything combined sliding through my mouth gave my tastebuds a treat in the form of blended coffee. The menu is like a boba version of Dutch Bros. I like it. The guy at the counter was nice and greeted us as we walked in. He was ready to take our order when we were ready. He held it down too, as the only person working. I've been wanting to try tiny tea co lol but I took too long. The strawberry vanilla black tea sounded like it would be a great drink so we went to try it. If you are familiar with teaspoon, this is like a refresher version of teaspoon's strawberry sangria. It's light, sweet, and not bad but not amazing either. I have boycotted Starbucks but when I'm craving a strawberry açaí refreshing I can just have this and they are kinda the same. Good service and absolutely love the interior design. Its like you're in a green house! I love that they put a lot if attention to detail. The seating is ample and pretty spacious for groups of 3 or 4. The boba is good. the drinks are OK. I got a flavored Sakura drink so maybe i just didn't like the flavor. My friend got the traditional mt and it was ok as well. My friend really liked it though. It was end of day as well so maybe I come again during the day to try one more time. Came back here again and tried two new drinks; the Thai tea and the berry bomb. Both were delicious as the Thai tea had a twist to it as a drizzle of pandan was included. The drink was perfectly sweet and the flavors blended really well together. The berry bomb was tasty as well; I'm not really a Red Bull drinker but my boyfriend really liked it! The service was fantastic as the workers were so sweet and accommodating and offered to remake our drink if we didn't like it. I will definitely be coming back to try the taro drink! read more

Ambiance is so cute and service is friendly. The drinks we ordered today were so disappointing. We tried the pumpkin pie black milk tea and the pandan Thai tea. Both tasted milky/ watered down and did not deliver on the flavor points. I was a big fan of Tiny Tea Co and the drinks today were a big let down. Just a few sips in and we didn't want to continue drinking. Given today's experience and the other bad reviews, we are unlikely to return as the risk of more bad drinks is so high. read more

This place is so cute. Came here on a Friday afternoon and they were having their boba happy hour BOGO! The employee serving us was very nice but because he was the only one it took a awhile for the drinks to come out but understandable. Surprised they would only have 1 employee working during the BOGO. But the drinks were delicious the lychee peachy could have been better wasn't my favorite. Excellent service. I've been here a hand full of times. Love when they have promos! My son loves the Pandan Thai drink and apparently it's caffeine free which is a bonus! Today was exceptional, I ordered two drinks but when I received my drinks, I noticed one came with BOBA instead of Jelly. I made the comment and thought I have ordered my drink wrong. Cute & casual vibe. Very small inside with limited seating. Their menu is a bit complicated. I had to stare at it awhile to understand the steps in ordering. It's a build-your-own-boba style, which told me that they don't have any specialties. They dont offer any real fruit on their menu and my son really enjoys mango. They use Torani syrup for their drinks and unfortunately they were all out. The cashier recommended a cheese foam on top so we went with that. We were disappointed when our drink came out with really large pieces of ice that took up 75% of the cup. There was barely any liquid to "drink" and no boba inside like we asked. I visited Bigz Boba on its grand opening day. The first 100 patrons received a free drink and a chance win prizes for their raffle. While the event was nice, the wait was quite long (2.5 hours). However, I didn't mind since it was a rainy day and I had no other plans. I arrived at 11am for the 12pm opening and managed to make it as one of the first 100. The menu allows for full customization of your drink, which includes selecting a base, flavor, and toppings, which is great if you know what you want. However, I wish they offered drink creation suggestions for each base, as I had trouble deciding despite having plenty of time. I kept my order simple but noticed others getting adventurous with their flavors. The staff was patient and non-judgmental, regardless of your mix. If you should make a horrible creation, the staff said they would remake your drink. Not sure if this is a Grand Opening gesture. I ordered a Frappe with passionfruit and mango flavor, strawberry boba, mango puree, and brulee. Originally, I wanted a milk tea, but they don't blend milk tea and recommended the Frappe as it's still tea-based. Surprisingly, I couldn't taste the tea in the creamy Frappe, but the mix of flavors made the drink delicious. Overall, I'm happy with my drink and glad I got to experiment. Their drinks used to be super unique but their menu now seems pretty lacking. We got the Lover and Child's play. they were just okay. I went to this boba shop during their grand opening. I think that this shop has a lot of potential but I do not believe they have mastered their recipes yet. I get a simple milk tea with honey boba at each boba place I go to. Nothing special but things I look for is a nice tea taste and a flavorful boba. This had neither. It tasted like milk and tapioca balls not really marinated in that honey. The boba had no flavor at all and the consistency was on the chewier side, it wasn't really soft. Another thing was that the menu is totally confusing. Some signature drinks would be helpful because no one knows what to get. It's overwhelming and it takes people forever to order because of that (bad for efficiency). My aunt got a matcha strawberry and her matcha was chalky and gritty as if they just put the powder in vs diluting it first. My son got an Oreo shake that he didn't even drink after the first sip because there was barely Oreo in it. He said it was like blended milk. There is much to improve here. I might try it when it seems more established. The only awesome this is that the staff was amazing and the ONLY reason this gets a 3 star. Friendly, funny, great group of people but management needs to actually taste their drinks. The shop was clean and modern. read more

Went on a Friday night around 8pm and it was empty. The customer service was great, the drinks, however, were quite disappointing. The menu is a bit daunting to begin with, it would definitely help to have a couple more suggestions on there for first-timers. My friend got a green milk tea with lavender and rose flavors, honey boba and lychee jelly, and soft top. I got a matcha cream frappe with lavender flavor, honey boba, and creme brulee. The total was somewhere around $13. My drink was alright, definitely creamy but lacking in lavender flavor. My friend's drink was super milky, and didn't have a lot of the lavender or rose flavor either. The actual boba was the most disappointing. It was very hard and seemed like it wasn't cooked all the way through. I've had overcooked, mushy boba before, but I have never had HARD boba even at Quickly's. Crazy to charge $0.75 for boba like this. My friend thought her drink was so bad she tossed it and we went to Sunright a block down to get something that was actually satisfying. No hate at all to Bigz and especially not the employee who helped us, he was great, it wasn't his fault. Although, I would suggest making sure the boba is cooked all the way through and maybe upping the amount of flavoring that is used in each drink. I had a stain in the back of my dress I didn't know was there, and the two nice staff girls not only told me it was there but also helped me out! Went last night, around 30 minutes before closing. Service was standard, the guy behind the counter answered any questions that my mom and I had about the drinks. The menu was a tad overwhelming, I noticed that there were a lot of caffeinated drinks (not inherently a bad thing, just very interesting to me!) I ordered a Child's Play (less sugar), my mom ended up not getting anything because of the use of syrup. Got my drink pretty quickly, and then left. The first sip I took tasted okay initially, but the aftertaste was very reminiscent of paint? I don't know if it was the tea, or the syrup, or what? but it tasted very strongly of the smell of tempera paint (the thinner watersoluble cheap paint used for kid's projects). My mom had a sip and agrees with this assessment. I ended up throwing away the drink after a few more sips to see if it would get better (it did not, unfortunately). read more

I can't emphasize this enough that you HAVE to try if you're a boba lover, and if you're not you'll start liking it when you try Bigz Boba. While looking to go to Tpumps, I noticed the line was long however I remembered this spot was a new one and I wanted to give it a try. Looking through the menu they have really great drink options stuff I have never really seen before such as "strawberry cheesecake" & "chocolate covered strawberries" both drinks were amazing and tasted exactly how it should. I went here with my boyfriend and his brother for the first time on a Friday evening and the baristas were very friendly. I would say the menu is a bit confusing and wished they had some suggestions or a list of few favorite combos of drink. We enjoyed our drinks. I got a Mango Rose GT with lychee jelly, my bf got Strawberry Rose GMT with boba, and I forgot what his brother got. My bf's drink was a little too sweet and wished he had gotten it less sweet and both wished there was less ice since the ice took up half of the one size cup they had.. Fast forward to Sunday evening, we brought our friends to try this place because we liked it the first time. Only this second time around, I didn't really enjoy my drink. The baristas were different from the first time I came here and they didn't seem as welcoming lol. When ordering, my bf and I both asked for LESS ice. But once we got our drink, my bf still had half cup of ice in his and mine had MORE than half cup of ice in it.. I couldn't even stir my drink nor get the toppings I had at the bottom. I like that they're served in only a large size cup (hence I assume it's probably one of the reason why their place is called BIGZ boba ) but you really aren't getting your moneys worth if they're just filling half of your cup with ice. I gave it a second chance since I kept in mind the adjustment to make this time around but it just wasn't up to par lol. I would honestly just stick with Tpumps across the street- it's cheaper and you get more of your drink rather than hella ice. read more
