Very limited ordering area which conveys a grab & go type of store
    Sherri W.

Very small store front that can be easily passed if driving by car, so look for the Asian Artwork store on the corner as a point of reference. Mt. Boba Tea had a BOGO promo of BOGO so this was my incentive to try it out. While ordering at the counter, I had to ask for the BOGO 3 times, it may have been better to use the kiosk. Orders: Brown Sugar Milk Tea($5.49) with a .25 cent additional for Almond Milk substitute. You could hardly tell it was a milk tea drink & neither could you taste the black tea brew. It was very watered down & a drink I wouldn't order again. Berry Kiwi Bliss ($5.49 with agar jelly included)had a good strawberry taste with a slight hint of Kiwi, the sweetness was normal & maybe slightly iced, but it was still a little sweeter than what I would have preferred. While the price was reasonable, & with all the options of Boba teas, I would not go out of my way to visit.

Classic Milk Tea and "Popcorn" chicken

Ordered a milk tea and the popcorn chicken here. Milk tea was fine, nothing special about it but it will fulfill a craving if you had one. The popcorn chicken was tiny and looked like little chicken nuggets. There's no seasoning on it and fries are ok. Probably wouldn't go back again.

Mango milk tea with 1X boba, and regular milk tea with 3X jelly

I really wanted to like this place! It's a cute hole in the wall, has a HUGE menu, and the service by the gentleman behind the counter was great. He explained the menu and was really patient with us as we asked a bunch of questions. But my friends and I had a few issues... for one, the menu implies that you can make anything decaf, which when we actually ordered, is not the case. Instead they just remove the tea from certain menu items. So no decaf tea, just no tea at all... That means the mango passion drink I ordered decaf was just water with syrup? A bit odd My friends got regular milk tea and a taro milk tea (with no tea). They weren't fans of either. The taro tasted like a melted sweetheart candy - very artificial. We couldn't drink it! My mango passion was just OK but I couldn't get over the fact that it was just water and syrup seemingly? On top of that, they gave very little boba compared to other places I've been to. See the pic for what one order of boba looks, compared to a 3X order... Anyways, maybe you'll have better luck if you stay away from "decaf" options. Hope this place improves and does well!

Loved the matcha tea with almond milk. Will try the popping flavor filled boba next time because I've never had that!

It was pretty good. It's a pretty small place, and the service was pretty fast. However, it's relatively expensive.

I came in looking to do some work and I definitely wish I had known there was no free wifi or charging areas before having purchased a coffee and sandwich. Bummer. I ordered a vanilla latte - 2 stars. I wasn't a fan of their coffee overall and the serving was not full. Very interesting. For food, I got their chicken pesto and that too wasn't my favorite - chicken was a little dry but their sourdough was good. It was a sunny day in SF and it was really warm inside. Very spacious location, offers downstairs seating (bar style) and upstairs was more large tables (pretty packed). I had this place marked as a study/WFH location but after my visit, it's off the list.

Staff is friendly and their gluten free brownie is pretty good. There are some tables but they are pretty small and the place gets busy. The coffee bar is open with the ability to see baristas making drinks as ordered with also a display for pastries to pair with the drinks. Service: The baristas were extremely friendly and diligent on getting drinks swiftly made to order, while also being knowledgeable and helpful with questions on the menu. Wait time: Less than 10 minutes between ordering of food / drink and it being ready when going at 10am on a Sunday. Matcha: The Velvet matcha had a good matcha flavor without being overly sweet and a good balance between ice and actual drink. The matcha foam that goes on top is also not excessive while providing a more deep flavor profile that the actual drink lacks a little in. They do also have lids on a side table to allow for you to take your drink on the go with both a straw option and sip lid built into the same top. The matcha crepe cake was okay but did not really have a strong matcha taste to it and the crepes themselves were not very flavorful either. For Presidio Heights, Q Specialty Coffee is a solid tasting matcha with plenty of natural lighting and a great place to catch up with friends or colleagues while enjoying a beverage.

The strawberry latte on the other hand was very overpoweringly flavored of the strawberry jam :(. I felt it tasted a bit artificial and didn't really let the matcha taste come through, I would stick to-the hojicha. 4.5/10 For food we got the fish sandwich and the pork katsu sandwich. The fish sandwich was decent, the cheese was cold but the fish was nice and flaky. I wish the fish skin was a bit more crunchy but I did like the slaw and sauce on it. 6.5/10 The pork one was soooo good and juicy. The crust was super crunchy and surrounded by the soft bread was such a nice texture. There was a sweet sauce which balanced the sandwhich nicely. Would get again! 8/10 We also saw the Japanese breakfast bento which looked realllly good and the salmon with matcha broth that others ordered and would def come back to try those! TLDR; would get the pork katsu sandwhich and hojicha. Would come back to try the bento and the salmon in matcha broth!!

Coffee is great and staff is always super welcoming and have attention to detail. I always stop in for a bag of freshly roasted beans and doing so gets you a free cup of drip coffee or cold brew. The only thing that is slightly inconvenient is the constantly long line to order. On the bright side once you order you get your drink right away regardless of what you order. It's a solid assembly line operation they got going. Especially in my case when I typically only get a bag of beans to-go I wonder if they could change the system to allow me to forgo the line altogether, that would be a pleasant change.
