I highly recommend this place, I needed to repair my electric scooters tire as my brother accidentally ran over something and popped the tire, after going to many different places I found this one and asked them if they could repair it,. They ended up repairing it for a very unexpected low price they have bikes, pumps, tires, and more in their shop! Not great service. I took my hybrid bike in for a tune up (approx. 1 year ago), they suggested upgrading tires to a price that was more than I paid for the bike. I went in another time for a particular item since they were so close and asked the bike mechanic - young kid that was not knowledgeable, but I'll give him credit for admitting his ignorance. I've also been in a few times to ask the bike mechanic about servicing a different bike as I wanted to give the shop another chance (being so close) - most times, there was no one there and when I left message with the employees on the other side of the shop, I never heard back from anyone. I've not bought a bike here so can't speak to that experience. If you're looking for bike service, go elsewhere. read more

Took in my bike purchased elsewhere to get a safety check and do a once over of my bike that I assembled myself. It was ready ahead of schedule and was able to race that weekend. Staff is very friendly and will take the time to talk with you. Wish I lived closer to the shop. read more

I had to wait 20-30 minutes for their only mechanic to get back from his lunch, I didn't even need the mechanic, I just wanted to know what's size tool I needed to take off the crank that I was going to take off myself. All I wanted was a tool but I got a huge inconvenience instead. Because it was just supposed to be a quick in an out with the purchase. Purchased my mountain bike from them. They were the only bike shop in the DMV to care an extra small Liv bike that I had been eyeing. I found this bike shop while on the Liv website searching for where to buy the bike. They were really nice and let me test out the bike around the parking lot for as long as I wanted. They have a really great warrantee where I can bring in the bike to be tuned up anytime. If you are in the area and need help with a bike, definitely hit up this store. read more

I couldn't be happier to find Manny and his shop last year during the pandemic. I was *finally* ready to get a new bike--after 37 years!!--and was finding few bikes available. Manny had a terrific Liv in my size and price range, and offered outstanding customer service. I like to support local bike shops (where would we be without them?) and was so happy with Manny's service that we purchased a bike for my husband as well, and then a bike rack. Bikes today are pretty different than the old ones, but Manny welcomes the bicycle novice and all our questions and concerns. Outstanding shop! Great service and despite the influx of demand to be outside and away from people, they got my bike that was sitting for awhile back to new condition! Been here for 2 different issues and each time there was a lengthy line and the phone was ringing non-stop. Not sure how they maintain their composure. I counted over 60 service tickets on the wall too and somehow my turn around was only a couple days. The counter staff are friendly and the technician knows his stuff. We visited the shop seeking help shipping our bikes for a cross-country move. Aside from boxes and packing materials, this requires a good amount of disassemblage of the bike. For each step, they were incredibly helpful, guiding us through the removal of pedals and seats and handlebars, offering boxes and materials from their recycling bin, and helping us to box all the pieces. They then recommended the cheapest shipping option. All in all, we were very satisfied with their service. When I asked how we could compensate their time, they told me there was no need. I can not say enough about this bike shop. My son's bike brakes were acting up, and we brought it to the shop thinking it would cost hundreds of dollars. They charged a reasonable amount, and said his bike even didn't need a tune up (which I had asked and would have cost me much more than the cost of fixing the brakes). Five stars is a high mark for a bike shop because there are so many failure modes. Nevertheless, the owner/staff here are technically knowledgeable, service oriented, customer focused and do not seem to have the mistaken expectation that I carry around ingots to cover bike purchases and repairs! All of this might get them to 4-4.5 stars but they get to 5 for being genuine and friendly. I have been in the shop 3 times and have seen snooty bikers, bro' bikers, parents, kids, posers and pros and I have always observed courtesy and patience from the folks behind the counter.
