Called first to enquire on what they had in stock, quickly received some photos via text of what they recommended, came in an hour later, and left with a sweet ride!! Also picked up a new helmet, had them add a water bottle holder, and took them up on the extra $ to have the tires filled with slime (to prevent annoying leaks). They were so helpful and sweet. Really glad I could support a local, family business instead of a big box store.

I had a really positive experience working with this gentleman. I was buying an older bike, and he was incredibly honest and straightforward throughout the entire process. He took the time to point out the bike's condition, what had been maintained, and anything that might need attention down the line. What stood out most was how genuine and kind he was--there was no pressure at all, just a smooth and comfortable experience. It's not always easy to find someone that trustworthy when buying used items, so I really appreciated his transparency. Larry is truly a master at his craft. I had 2 bikes that hadn't been ridden in 11 years. Both bikes needed a full tune up from top to bottom. I dropped them off to Larry and within a week he had them looking brand new. Larry's work is excellent and his prices are very reasonable. I'm new to cycling and after buying a used bike, I had to get a basic tune up. Larry communicated well and was honest since the beginning. Apparently my derailleur was broken and he replaced it quicker than I thought! I didn't even know what a derailleur was lol He knows his stuff and I got great advice on how to care for my bike. Be honest, be straightforward and communicate well with your clients. Larry did not try to sell me parts or provide any unnecessary details about repairing my bike and was very informative on what needed fixing. Absolutely excellent! Not only was Larry/Bike Together honest and knowledgeable, but he was fast and precise. It had been a few years and much rain, since I last used my road bike and despite a little rust and some flats to begin with, he returned it looking and riding like it was brand new! History

Established in 2018.

As the owner and mechanic at Bike-Together, I have been riding, building and working on bikes for over 40 years as a cycling enthusiast. After I retired, I decided to focus on serving the Inland Empire cycling community by sharing my love of cycling. I graduated from the United Bicycle Institute and obtained certification in Advanced Bicycle Mechanics and Wheel Building. Our goal is to play a part in helping to grow a cycling culture in the Inland Empire. We will do this by providing superior repair services and assisting customers with finding the right bike for their needs. Our dream is to become a hub for local cyclists to connect for opportunities to participate in group rides because its always more fun to Bike TOGETHER.

Meet the Business Owner: Larry D.

I started cycling as a teenager racing BMX in the late 70's. After high school I enlisted in the Air Force and that lead to a 30 year career in law enforcement. I raced various disciplines of amateur mountain biking throughout the 90's and continue to ride recreationally today. I enjoy mountain biking and together with my wife Kris we ride gravel bicycles recreationally and in several organized cycling events every year. After I retired, I decided to open Bike Together as a bicycle repair shop at our house.

THOROUGH EVALUATION We met with the following specialists: SEAN O'HARA (AC repair) - AC stopped emitting cool air. Fixed issue w/ filter repair. ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. We can't wait for our longstanding issues to be behind us, and we anticipate leaving an updated review once the work is complete!

Fito Parra arrived on time, with a truck that held a lot of really specialized equipment; this wasn't a side-job, but a profession, and I could tell that he really cared about what he was doing. He was able to get tough stains out on a patio that had not been cleaned for probably 15+ years. I had bought a power washer from BestBuy and tried to do it myself, but it took me an entire Saturday to literally do a quarter of what he did in almost four hours. Fito/KC Power Clean uses steam, some light chemicals (or you can say no) and industrial power wash equipment. I was also very impressed by how he cleaned the dirt splatter off the walls, and did an excellent job. My driveway and patio looked brand new! Kevin followed up asking how the service went, and sending me before and after pictures, which was another professional touch. I'd recommend looking at their Youtube channel and watching what these guys are about. They seem to take care of their employees, their customers, and are growing the business, which is nice to see. I could have paid someone else less to use Lowes/HomeDepot pressure wash equipment and chemicals or simple green, and my patio would have looked just a bit better. But considering this is licensed, insured, and the equipment on the truck was professional (for example, they have some motor on it that heats the water to make the steam, and a machine that could wind the hose back up), I felt that there was significant value. I will be using them again for other services and have already recommended them to my parents and my neighbor. I will also be referring them to my HOA to do their pressure washing. Thank you!!

The customer service I recieved from this shop is probably the best service I have received in a long time! I dropped my bike and Larry walked me through all of the items he would addressed. He gave me options too! I didn't feel he was trying to take advantage of me and by the time I left his shop I felt good of our time together. Once, I picked my bike, he went over every little detail and some. He showed me what to look out for when shifting gears, etc. I had a ton of questions for him and he patiently answered all of them. Their prices are affordable and the customer service is by far the best out of the other local shops I visited. I highly recommend this shop on his knowledge and serivce I received alone. Larry the founder of Bike Together is incredibly kind, punctual, and prices are very reasonable. Tinseltown best bike shop I've ever been to. Larry has bled my brakes, tuned up my bike, make my tires tubeless etc.... He seem to always get it right and he keeps himself up to date with the newest bike technology so no matter what your bikes needs are he lways has an answer. I highly recommend him. read more
