The expectation is for the buyer to pay shipping to send back the entire product before a replacement or remedy is shipped. Just bought 2 tires Kenda Nevegal 26x2.35 on their amazon sale for $130 total and for a nice MTB full suspension Trek 8. I have received2 tires with a different model/tread configuration... The sticker says it weights ~750gr for one and ~850gr for the other one (to be verified). Therefore, there are not 2.35 but 2.28 for one and 2.32 for the other one (inflated at 40+ psi). When I tried to mount them tubeless and used the necessary plastic tools to make them conformal to the rim, the rubber started to come off. I am replacing my Bontrager XR4 that weighted ~650gr, last 5 years and rubber never came off while mounting them, and they are real 2.35, but cannot find them in 26 anymore. My bike feels at least a pound heavier with those narrower Kendas. They say they accept return but have to pay round-trip shipping? ( waited 3 weeks to get the tires). And they take 25% off the reimbursement if they deem the tire is damaged... I have inflated what seems to be the lowest quality Kenda tire of the 2 to 40psi, it was deflated over night. I inflated it again to 40psi this morning and it exploded and popped out the rim ( see the picture). The rubber is torn out. Those tires are even unsafe and dangerous. Those tires are rated at 50-60psi and tubeless... I will never buy again here. read more

I ordered a seatback specifically from BikeWorld because the photo online showed a completely white product. I saw a $3 light and threw that in since it didn't affect the shipping charge. What I received was a black and white seatback, not what was advertised or ordered. I emailed them about the incorrect item and was offered a discount or refund. I chose a refund. And asked for a refund of the shipping since this is their mistake. They are giving a partial refund on shipping though this is their mistake and the small light didn't change the initial shipping rate. Similar to another reviewer, as I emailed back and forth, it didn't seem as if they were reading my emails. Wish me luck on ever receiving that refund. read more

I've ordered from them through Amazon 2x since December and they managed to mess up both times. 1st, tire liner, advertised to be 2.5" wide. It was only 1 3/4" overall and only about 1" of that was the protective shield. They refused to refund me until Amazon got on them several times. Recently, I ordered a suspension fork on Amazon, not realizing it was bikeworld USA again. A large empty box arrived at my door after a week. It was taped up where you could tell something had broken through. I emailed them immediately and after 2 more weeks of emails and excuses (lies) still nothing. They said they'd send a replacement, but after over a week, I asked when. They 1st said they're out of stock, but when I pointed out that their ad says "5 in stock ", she came back with " the post office doesn't pick up all our packages everyday..." The end of april I ordered a size large coaches jacket on Amazon. The jacket came and was too small. I sent it back right away and put a not in the package to send me a size extra large. It is now near the end of june and I have not heard from them. I called and left a message at least 3 times, and emailed at least 2 times. I even called Amazon and they said they would contact them. Truly terrible service across the board. I ordered a product from them, shipping continued to be delayed, finally I had to reach out to them and tell them my product had not come. It was then that they told me they didn't have the item in stock, only after I reached out to them. From there they told me they could upgrade the item and send it to me. They became evasive when I asked if I would be charged more. Let me remind you this is all over very rare email response every couple days, and with 26 phone calls over two weeks I did not get a single answer. When I told them I wanted my item and I was sick of getting pushed around they "refunded me". So now I have not been able to train properly on my bike for two weeks because something they sold me broke, I can't get the part replaced for even longer, and I have yet to see any of my money back. After offering the upgrade I got a response that said they didn't want to send the upgrade and risk losing more money. Jessica was responding to the emails, and she was not helpful at all. They also refused to give me a point of contact for a supervisor. Will be filing formal complaints, and if need be legal action. They are rude and useless. They clearly don't know anything about cycling either based on the info they gave me. And they will go back on their word to do whatever is easiest for themselves. read more

Ordered two new fat bike tires that were rated high but discontinued. BikeWorld had 5 of them and I ordered two. Got a tracking number but the item never came. Post office stated that they do not believe they were actually sent. Seller said they would send me a new pair. After still not getting the item, they finally emailed me that they were out of stock. Asked seller to tell me what happened to the shipment and they never responded. Phone number never works and their email responses, if they respond, was brief and provided little info. I wasted almost one month trying to get these tires during the last weeks of the bike riding season. Their reviews are already low on Amazon and Yelp and now I know why. The worst bicycle goods supplier in my 40 years, having no idea about riding and repairing them nor how to provide the necessary resources we need. They tout their service but that is an unmitigated lie. Stay away from BikeWorldUSA as they offer no expedited shipping and all orders take over a week due to no other mail service offered. For cyclists that need a repair or replacement component this treatment is unacceptable. I mistakenly thought buying my new wheel from them instead of waiting on one from China would be a better move. Not so at all, the long wait indicates they are only serving as a proxy and do not care about the customer needs, only their bottom line. My bottom line is to kiss it. Hopefully Amazon and other sites will cancel their affiliation, we shall not seek any bicycle products on Amazon henceforth in the event they are not investigating or observing this abhorrent retail behavior.
