We are very lucky to have such a great bike shop in our area! The people who work there are very nice, helpful and courteous. Today I went there with my granddaughter whose brakes needed adjustment. These guys have more integrity than desire for money. I came to them as a, shall we say, less than fit bicyclist with a hybrid bicycle. I was hoping that riding a road bide would help me keep up with the pace of the local cycling club rides. The gentleman I spoke with told me very diplomatically that it wasn't just riding a hybrid holding me back, but also my fitness level. So, they passed up a chance to sell an expensive bike to a desparate newbie. Of course I became a loyal custormer, and I have never been disppaintment with their serveice, whether accessorys or tune-ups and the odd repair. read more

An incredibly patient and knowledgeable gentleman took over an hour to help me even though the shop was very busy. Excellent customer service offered up by one of the owners of Freeman's Bridge Sports Shop and the staff he employs. Its worth a call & visit to this place as their current website does not convey the courteous attention to detail, customer service & breadth of inventory they have (I was able to locate & purchase tires for an old Peugeot I have that most bike shops across the country don't take care to stock because the wheel size is unusual but Freedom Bridge Sports/Bike had plenty!). Got my bike here and I am ready to hit the road! I am so happy with the service that I got here. I got a new Trek Road bike and the folks at Freemans Bridge are very knowledgeable about the product. I went in again the other day to purchase a few items and I find that they're pricing is fair on the items they sell. I bought an emergency flat kit, as well as upgraded my computer. These items cost no more here than anywhere else, but the sales guy could answer all of my questions about the products. I also purchased a couple of jerseys that were on sale. I felt their sale prices were really good since I only paid 30 bucks for official Bontrager gear. I came in to have the seat looked at on my tricycle, which kept changing positions and coming loose. Rich was extremely friendly, helpful, and diagnosed the problem quickly and had a solution within minutes. He helped me load the bike back into the car and I was on my way. This place is fantastic! I took my bike in for a tuneup and new tires. Shimano drive train. They never touched the derailleurs, as I found out on my trip as it wouldn't shift to the big ring AT ALL. I took the bike back after my trip ( three rides) to have the derailleurs adjusted. The mechanic gave it a few turns of the of the screws but nothing you'd call a tuneup. Never even wiped the chain. I rode it in the parking lot for a minute and at least it shifted if somewhat clunky. First ride, chain came off. Second ride, didn't shift to the big ring. What terrible work!! A children's bike shop. Doing my own work and bike is just fine. Worst work I have ever had done on any of my mikes. Do it yourself or take it to a good bike ship. This was terrible. read more

I bought my last road bike about 7 years ago online. It was an aluminum Chinese special, with very entry level specs, that I purchased just to see if I liked road cycling. I caught the bug pretty hard, and have ended up struggling a bit riding on that bike. I went in with my wife when she was looking at mountain bikes and was super impressed with the service. I mentioned something about wanting a new road bike and was shown the Trek Emonda, which I fell in love with. I lusted after this bike for two years, and finally went in to seriously check it out last week. I dealt with Dave, who is super knowledgeable and really had me thinking about all of my options, as opposed to just being dialed in on what I want. I ordered the bike on Monday, it was in and built by Thursday. I went with a 2019 Trek Emonda SL5, and I am in love. I can't thank Dave, Rich and the gentleman who's name I can't remember from Thursday evening for getting me all set up with my new bike! read more

My husband and I bought a XC ski outfit for our adult son several years ago. Within the year, he moved away and left his skis at home. He uses them when he comes to visit in the winter. They were probably used half a dozen times. Last winter he went skiing and the plastic buckle system broke on one boot. I returned the boots (with our receipt) to the store and they not only replaced his boots, they also ordered new bindings for his skis because the old bindings were not compatible with the new boots. They installed the bindings on his skis. No charge for any of this. Phenomenal customer service. I can't believe it! These people are definitely the good guys. read more

Trek is very good. The sales is also very good. Owner seems burned out and does not want to talk or answer the phone. He is a nice guy and is probably tired of answering stupid questions over and over. Buy a $1000 bike and it's worth $200 in less then a year on trade in. I still recommend this business because they know more than most. Be prepared to pay top dollar. read more

I have had my bike in for repairs twice. First time was last summer for an overhaul. Was told 10 days, 5 weeks later I was begging for them to do the repairs. This year, silly me, I took it back again for simple flat fix and gear cable adjustment. The front gears now don't work at all. That is not the expert service that their website professes. I am going back to either get the cable adjusted correctly or get a refund. Will NOT return after that. read more

Avoid this place if at all possible. At this price, there are MUCH better shops in the area. I spent $180 on $50 worth of parts and 20 minutes worth of work by a competent bicycle mechanic. Exorbitant price for a shop that sells Trek and mostly no name bikes. One star because they seem very experienced in the difficult application of degreaser on parts (sarcasm). I really wanted to support a local bike shop by paying a little extra, but if I could go back I would buy some tools and do it myself for less than I paid. I won't be returning, and I can almost guarantee experienced cyclists NEVER get service here. What a waste. read more
