At first I was so excited that I found this place because it was near by where I lived...I walked in and I didn't know where to order from.. The people there were rude... service was awful.... I felt like I was being judged by ordering. .. The food was not even all that...The soda u buy is a can, and they don't give u cup/ice for it if your dinning in!! I am middle eastern and this place has the best food of all the middle eastern places that I have tried in the area. They have the best shawarma and the prices are reasonable. They also sell fresh bread and desserts. The mixed shawarma platter with hummus is my favorite. The downside is the setup and customer service, although that's common in the middle east. They serve zatar and olive oil with bread before your meal but at some point, you had to start asking as they no longer bring it to you as part of the meal. You don't get great customer service and its pretty disorganized but the food is authentic and affordable. Good enough for me to keep coming back for the amazing shawarma and hummus that's as good as your mother's! read more

This place is great! I had the Chicken Shwarma on Iraqi bread with hummus and cucumber yogurt on the side. It was sooo good! I also got an Arabic coffee which was really nice - perfectly balanced flavors of coffee and cardamom and just a little sweet. Friendly staff, but only one person as hostess/waitress/cashier so you might have a bit of a wait at peak meal times. Seems like more of a take-out place than a sit-down although there are some tables and chairs inside. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area again! read more

The bread is fresh and it is the best I've tasted since eating the bread from my village in Palestine. They have Iraqi and regular pita bread. Try the Iraqi bread. Their meat comes fresh and tastes delish. The falafel and hummus are good. It's a small self seating type restaurant. The owner is usually here to greet you when you walk in. Good shuwarma pitah. They even have ambah which most places do not have. Sides on the pitah are also tasty. Good salad, tahina and arisah. One issue I have with the place is that the iraqi bread breaks very easily. They also do not give you enough meat in the chicken shuwarma pitah. read more

So I decided to try this place bc I saw an article in the Dallas Observer. I went with my wife and she ordered the Beef and Chicken Shawarma plate w/o rice and I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate w/ rice. My wife enjoyed her plate and she liked the beef more than the chicken. I unfortunately didn't enjoy my plate as much. The reason being that they served me old rice. It basically ruined my whole plate bc I mixed everything together. Definitely won't be ordering anything with rice again or going out of my way to make an order. read more

I am sorry to say i will never go there again, i had breakfast: hummos , foul, falafel and meat pie, the meat pie ohhh i don't know where to start.. i don't think it was stuffed with meat, it was very dry and it tasted like sand, one bite and that's it... hummos and foul were very very low quality and didn't taste good at all... the pita bread was dry and not fresh.. the only thing was acceptable is the falafel bites, it was ok... overall it was 2 out of 10 Advice to the management: work harder on your recipes. This restaurant has the worst service I have ever experienced. The lady with short hair tried to steal my money twice, and the last time was the worst because she was really disrespectful and flat out agreed to having terrible customer service skills by simply saying "oh okay" like a child. I've given this place several opportunities to fix themselves but obviously someone is missing the signs in front of them that this lady is killing their business. I will start with the 1 positive about this place. The food is amazing. It is such a shame I have to give one star. I went there for lunch with a group of for other co-workers. 3 of us wanted combo plates, and 2 of us (me included) wanted a plate of just 1 lb of Shawarma. They confused the order, and brought the 3 people who ordered combo plates 1 lb shawarma plates with some sides, and they brought me something I completely did not order. In the end, I complained that I wanted what I order since I do not eat carbs, and they brought the correct plates to us eventually. The problem is, they charged my 3 coworkers who did not order 1 lb plates the full price which is significantly more. They said, they had to pay even though the restaurant made the mistake. One of the people in my group had a $27 bill for lunch! This was just for his plate, a plate of hummus, and 2 diet cokes. My total was $22, even though I ordered a 15 dollar plate + 1 bottled water. They charged me $4-$5 for the water bottle? We gave up arguing with them and went back to work since our lunch time was running out. The whole process of trying to sort the mess out, they were very rude. Needless to say, we will not be going back. It is unfortunate, because the food is very delicious. I can deal with bad service also, but I will not tolerate being ripped off! read more

It has always been my favorite here. Next time, I will definitely try something else. They are always busy because they also sell bread and some sweets so a lot of customers come in for their fresh bread (which by the way is also amazing). The one thing I loved about this place was the sign outside that invited the needy to a free meal. Not a lot of places do this. The food here was decent. If I had to pick one thing the kabobs were my favorite. The hummus was lacking flavor and tasted old. The worst part about this place is the fruit flys!!! When it comes to Shawarma I would know. It's fast food from where I came from. Wherever I lived in the US of A I looked for a Shawarma place. There are few good middle eastern restaurants here but none of them qualifies as a Shawarma joint, this place does. They have your standard beef and chicken vertical skewers. No Gyro here as they aren't trying to fake it. They have the standard pita bread and a twist that I haven't seen back home which is the Iraqi bread. The Iraqi bread is a nice twist but it's not life changing. The seating area is OK. It's not for a date night that's for sure. Neither it's for you to take your iPad and get some work done. Not that you can't. You can if you want to. But for me a place for the iPad needs to look like Panera or corner Bakery which this place doesn't. Despite the seating are it would give a 10 star if I could because it delivers the best Shawarma in Dallas. Now if somebody can tell me where can I get some Kenafeh? read more

I went last week for the first time. It was so tasty I went back the next day. I've had the chicken shawerma, pickles with amba and baba ghannoush. The shawerma is delicious!!! I love the pickles with amba too. The baba ghannoush is okay (just not my favorite). I do not eat dairy or grains, but many of those dishes look really yummy too. Overall, I give it a thumbs up and have been recommending it to friends who like tasty Mediterranean food. I will definitely keep going back. read more

If you want to feel like you're inconveniencing someone as you're handing them money for their food/service this would be the place to go. From start to finish, by far the worst service I've ever experienced in a restaurant setting. To be fair the food was ok (not awful, not great) but the people that run that place are as rude as they come! On top of that, the place looks dirty, seating is incredibly awkward and limited, they don't allow you to order just a side unless you make it a meal, and drinks come in cans that are still dirty around the rim from where they've been stored. Their Iraqi bread is really the best!! I always have my sandwiches with their Iraqi bread rather than the normal bread for that added chewy, yummy goodness.
