Back with another crazy customer service story and this one's really wild. My 2011 Ford Escape Hybrid has about 128k miles on it and has about every issue that can be expected when you own a Ford. Last week, I put it in drive and the car didn't move and the CEL came on. I decided to take it to a Ford dealer since it was likely transmission issues. I called every Ford dealer within a 30 mile radius and either couldn't get through to service, or they were booked out into August for a diag. I called Bill Collins ~15 times before someone called me back to set up an appointment. They told me they could look at my car the following morning (Friday). I took it in and told them all the issues and they said they'd have it for several business days. On Saturday, I got a call that all they found w my car was suspension issues. I didn't doubt the suspension issues (although one control arm they wanted to replace had just been replaced not even a year ago so that was a lil sketchy) but I was more so confused why they didn't look into the transmission/engine issue more as that was my main concern. They quoted me $2k to fix the suspension issues and I told them not to since I'd rather get rid of it. For context, I've had this car less than a year, have put about 6k miles on it, and have spent around $4k on various repairs. The car only has 128k miles on it at this point, and clearly I got played at the little private dealer I bought it from last Summer, but that's whatever. This story is about Bill Collins. So I tell the guy (his name was CJ but my service advisor was Daniel) I'd like to pick up my car and he says Daniel will call me when I can get it bc they had to take it apart to look at it and it isn't put back together yet. Daniel never called me and I had to call the service dept another ~15 times before someone answered and I didn't get sent right to voicemail. I used to work basically at a call center as overflow for Subaru Service Centers, so I'm no stranger to how busy service advisors are and how difficult it is to reach them, but at the same time I feel like this was a bit excessive. Especially because I wasn't going through with any repairs and all I needed to know was when I could come get my car. Today (Tuesday), when I finally reached someone, they told me my car was done and could be picked up. This is when the story gets wild. So they rolled my windows down for whatever reason and couldn't get the driver's side rear window to go back up and my car got stormed in while it was there. I'm not accusing them of breaking my rear window as clearly this car is a hunk of junk and I never use my back windows so it could've been busted this whole time and I just never knew. However, I feel like this is a situation where you need to be honest and say what happened instead of trying to cover it up. Honesty is always the best policy, and in my opinion, especially when there's a chance you might be accused of breaking something on someone's car (which is why they probably didn't tell me). Nothing inside my car was ruined though and there was just a puddle of water in the door handle and I'm getting rid of this thing so why would I care. The thing that really shocked me was when I looked at the paperwork and saw they didn't even test drive my car. They put it up in the air, said suspension parts were bad, and called it a day. The mileage in on my paperwork was the exact same as the mileage out. One of my issues was my gas mileage suddenly has been bad. They wrote on my papers that it's still within the listed range for this vehicle and that was that. I was like no way they didn't even try and fix it or find an issue with that???? I know you're busy but why did I pay $180 just for you to look under my car and say the suspension was bad like boy I could've done that lol. Overall, it was a dumb decision to go to Bill Collins because I paid $180 for my car to be there 5 days, it didn't get test driven, and it came back more busted than it went in. I know my car has issues but that's why I took it to a Ford dealership because I wanted the Ford "experts" to take a look. The only enjoyable thing about this experience was that the shuttle driver was so kind and helpful and was such a great guy. I hope they're paying him well because he deserves it. I've included a picture of the window repair job my partner and I did just now so it will deter anyone who is thinking about getting a Ford, to get a Japanese car instead.

As a barely adult woman who knows next to nothing about cars, I felt extremely vulnerable and fearful until I reached RPM Auto Sales. There, I discovered the most genuine people. They are so kind, I can't emphasize it enough. It was so refreshing to feel like I was talking to real people and not money hungry salesmen. I bought the car I was looking at the next day. After about a month, I began to have trouble with my oil. I came back and Robert found the issue and fixed it within a day at no cost to me. I felt like I'd been blessed somehow. Absolutely phenomenal people. Genuinely cannot convey my gratitude and admiration enough. Just real, good people that actually care.

Used car sales does not have a great reputation. I was not pressured and they gave me the info I needed. They shared the cars on the lot that were in my budget and mileage guidelines. I brought my husband back over the weekend and we didn't even have this one on our radar due to wanting to buy a newer car for our son. We ended up going with a great find! A 2005 Dodge Dakota with 80,000 miles. This truck was babied. I truly believe a little grandpa garage kept this truck. The straight forward approach and no pressure sales was incredible. After we made our decision, it took 15 mins to sign all the paperwork and we were on our way. I've only purchased vehicles at the large local large brand dealerships and it's been almost twenty years since I bought a used car. Good people to work with and would buy from them again. We paid cash, but was pleased to know they use Park Community Credit Union for those who need to finance. Thank you Jessica & Robert! We have one happy 16 year old!

He was not at all pushy and it took very little time - our whole transaction probably took about 15 minutes, not including the test drive. He knows what he is doing and is very laid back but very professional. Tommy Neutz, the owner, is also spectacular. We talked for quite some time about the business and why they do things the way they do - no pressure, quality used vehicles, and they stand behind them. I actually spoke with Tommy and Paul for way longer than it took to do the paperwork. I totaled my previous vehicle and found an Odyssey at Neutz Brothers. The vehicle was very clean but they said they did not have an opportunity to clean the carpet and floor mats. Since I needed the vehicle immediately, I asked to bring it back the next week (I actually couldn't get it done until the following week - my issue, not theirs). I dropped off the vehicle on Monday and when I went to get it on Tuesday evening, the guy who did the work was there and explained that the floor mats did not get as clean as he wanted so he wanted to keep them a couple more days to get them right. Wow - the company culture is so strong that the detailer is empowered to make the customer happy and is proud of where he works and what he does. Incredible. I wish I got his name to give him a proper thank you here but I do appreciate his efforts! I bought the vehicle on the 2nd. It had an out-of-state title so it needed a Sheriff's inspection (they took care of this when I dropped off the Odyssey for the cleanup). On the 19th, they had my tag. In Kentucky, the dealer has 60 days to get the tag (it used to be 30 but the big dealers lobbied for the extra time). Neutz Brothers had my tag in 17 days with a Sheriff's inspection in there, too. WOW!! I highly recommend Neutz Brothers. If you are in the market for a used vehicle, this is the first place you should go - and will likely be the last. I am a customer for life!!

We took it to a shop, $1300 later we had a new oil cooler installed. The repair shop gave us the oiler cooler that they removed. It was the original plastic oil cooler that came with the engine.
