It took 2+ weeks, multiple phone calls and follow-ups, and several false starts to actually get it transferred. The local team reimbursed the transfer fee and did what they could to make it right. Corporate CarMax, help these guys out and fix how your departments work together to support your local teams who are in front of customers.

To my right were several guys who worked there, not busy, standing around shooting the sh!t. I overhead them say something to the effect of, "Those Hispanics, they triple our billable hours, hahaha." I'm not sure if tripling billable time was supposed to be good or bad, but it didn't feel like a good thing. A Latino man who also worked there was walking by at that moment, and they said "Right, (name)?" And he nodded and kinda looked beaten down as he headed off to wherever he was going. It felt really uncomfortable to witness. My car was taken care of very well, and the staff I interfaced with were friendly and courteous to me.
