"I recently purchased an F350 Superduty from Bill Dube ford dealer at dover Nh that spontaneously caught fire with less than 200 miles driven. When I attempted to bring the vehicle to the dealership for resolution and assistance in contacting Ford, the supervisors refused to accept the truck or help in any way. I was told to find another dealer, and a supervisor stated it was 'my problem,' not theirs."

    2023 Ford Raptor!

Was looking for a brand new 2023 Ford Raptor for some time and found the exact one with the options I was looking for at Bill Dube Ford in Dover, NH. The selling price was at MSRP where most other dealers were at least $5,000 to $10,000 over MSRP!!! They also have a huge selection of other new Ford truck with great discounts off the MSRP prices. My salesman Sam, all the way to the general manager were outstanding in the sale......They took their time going through all the features of the truck. I couldn't be happier.

Shortly after I was test driving a Nissan Rogue. They were wanting me to finance the car, this is the only way to get their online prices. After stating I was wanting to purchase outright, they kept wanting the financing. I was hoping to do some dealing, but there was no budging. So I left and continued on shopping. My salesman did try to get his upper to work with me in the days following, but no luck. I would browse there again in the future. But read their fine print. Their online prices are only honored if you finance. Every other dealership I've been to does not do this, and instead goes by the price listed on their website, financing or outright purchasing.

However, I would not return to Somersworth Nissan. Matt is the only reason that this review is 2 stars and not 1. A '20 Crosstrek for ~$17k was my first choice that I knew I would love. On the lot, I made it very clear that I was not going to buy a car today, that I only wanted to test drive, & that I was still looking for a loan pre-approval at a bank; I told Matt that the bank I work for offered an 7-8% auto interest rate for employees, which I thought was too high. Matt said he understood but that he'd set up a test drive for us. There were a few minor things--mostly my inexperience with a Subaru, but also some minor scrapes and dents--that raised concern, but nothing to warrant hating the car. After the test drive, Matt pulled us to his desk and wanted our thoughts. I brought up the points above; I generally liked the car, but wanted to make sure it's what I want. Matt suggested that I fill out an auto credit report anyway since the bank I want a loan through partners with them. I obliged but asked if I should do this, or go directly to the bank first. He suggested I go to the bank first, but that he'd check with his manager. He came back, and said that they can submit the credit report to the bank and see what they say later; that sounds great, so I'll have some time to think on the car. He leaves, comes back, and now has a loan from Service Federal Credit Union at 13.5% interest... I'm sorry but what? I told you I can get an interest rate around 8% from my employer, why would I do that? Also, the paper showed a total financed cost of $12k after a $10k down payment... I said the rate is too high, that I could get a better rate, and also reminded Mathew that I was not going to buy a car today. He asked why, and I reminded him again that I wanted to be sure I made the right decision. He left, came back, and now had a new pre-approval from Service at a 6.5% interest rate--much better, but why was that not shown the first time? Still, it was not as great as other institutions in the area. When he presented it to me, I said that it was a much better deal, but that I was still not going to be making a purchase today, and I asked if he would email me when he heard back from other institutions. He stammered and indicated that he could, but that he would be right back. When Matt returned, he was accompanied by his manager, Trevor. Trevor continued to press me on the car and I said the same thing that I told Mathew; that I needed to be certain of my purchase. Trevor said that there's no point in waiting and that I should just buy it today if I'm planning to buy it anyway. I again said that I wanted to make sure that I spend my money wisely. *He asked fairly assertively if I would be okay if he sold the car to another gentleman in Vermont.* I said "Yes, of course?" He said, "Fine. Let's look at other cars then. I have Sentras, I have Rogues, I have Altimas--those are all wheel drive." Great Trevor, cool. I'm not here to buy anything. I wanted to test drive one particular car. Trevor repeatedly insists that I will not find a rate better than 6.5% or a Subaru at a lower cost than this one. I said okay, but that I need to be sure of that. He asked that if I need a car soon, why wait, and not just buy it now? Sir, I've said it a million times. No. *Trevor relented and said the car would be here for us.* I thought that car was going to a guy in Vermont??? Matt was a gem. If I could have the pleasure only doing business with him, I would. However, Trevor's insistence severely soured the mood, and it was clear that he was pushing Matt to behave the same way. I could tell Matt was looking out for our best interest and I thanked him repeatedly for that. I likely won't come back to buy this car. I still hope I can hear back regarding the other institutions, but my interest in this dealership is severely diminished. Trevor: I think a quick read of "Never Split the Difference" would do your sales tactics wonders, and help you drop the manipulative and assertive tone that you present this information in.

Recently, I had brought my car in to be inspected . They failed it due to some part that they…read morequoted would be $900 or so with service included. As someone who has mechanics in their family, I decided to have them look at my car to confirm this issue and was told there were no issues with this said part. I decided to get my car inspected at the dealership for a second opinion where it passed with everything in the "green" accept for some fluid changes. If anyone knows cars and inspections, there's always wiggle room. Green being no issues, yellow being an issue but still passable, and red being not passable. So EVERYTHING except for fluids was in the "green" with my car at the dealership. I went back to this place (that I'm reviewing now) to ask them about a refund as I would have been out $900 with these people for a zero issue if I hadn't gone for a second opinion. And since having to get a second opinion and passing, I felt I was given shady service by this place in review. I was also put out as I had to borrow my parents car for a trip I was about to take because, at the time, I did not feel comfortable driving my car with the issue it was failed for. When asking for a refund, I was not only questioned by the owner about why I even went for a second opinion but was also informed by another employee there that they remembered my car and that they fought with the person inspecting my car because there was no issue. Ultimately, the inspector won that battle thus failing my car and quoting me $900. The OWNER questioned my car "passing" somewhere else, wanting to see the new sticker with his own eyes like I was lying about it. I was told it's at the discretion of the person inspecting to determine if the car is passable or not and I would have accepted that excuse if any part of my car landed in the yellow. But seeing as how everything was green, I could not accept that as an excuse for failing my car. I got my refund but questioned to them "who else is this happening to" because I'll bet not many go for a second opinion somewhere else dishing out money they don't need to dish out to get their cars fixed when maybe there isn't even something needing to be fixed. So I say to anyone going to this place of business for a car inspection ... Be weary of the service they provide and get a second opinion if you feel something is shady because it most likely is. Be careful who you do business with. I won't be trusting this facility with any of my other vehicles in the future and I won't be sending anyone I know their way. It's too bad too... I wanted to support a local business. But apparently a local business didn't want to support me.

What they didn't know is that I knew exactly where the screw was. It was well within the tread. But they REALLY wanted to help with my problem, and offered to sell me one tire, for nearly $400. Installed I assume, or maybe not. So, I took my leak elsewhere. Got it repaired for $40 and made a friend.
