After a long day of unpacking boxes, my husband and I came here to get out of the house and grab…read moresome food. We had heard about it from a few people and decided to try it out. Walking in it's open and plenty of seating. Our server was super friendly and had some great recommendations. We got the french dip burger with onion rings and the fish and chips. The food came out pretty fast with no problems. The burger was cooked to my liking and had plenty of flavor. The real stand out was the onion rings though. Super crispy and well battered. Didn't seem like the ones that you get at most places that get soggy super fast. These ones stayed nice and crispy. The fish and chips were battered nicely and very flaky. Great flavor. The food was great and the service was awesome. Definitely a place to come back to for the food and service. It's good for families and also for a chill date night.

While finishing up at Silver Creek Dental, we asked the receptionist where we should eat lunch and…read moreshe said she eats at Corner 16 all the time. Off we went! We were seated without a wait and our orders were taken quickly. Our waitress, Summer, handled my nut allergy professionally and with style. I ordered the pork chop with a side of cornbread dressing (hence the need to check for nuts) and my husband got the fish and chips. I was glad the chops came with the spicy/sweet sauce on the side, as it was tasty but too spicy for me. The chop was thick and cooked perfectly. The dressing was almost too salty but yummy. I wish there had been a wee bit more of the quinoa rice than what came with it. My husband loved the fish and chips and remarked that there was more fish than coating, a rarity nowadays. My only complaint was that it was very cold inside. Overall, a great lunch.

We live about 40 minutes north of Chattanooga and we're ready for a cuisine change from our local…read moreoptions. After reading all the reviews we headed south and are pleased to share that everything and everyone we encountered were absolutely top notch...food was prepared perfectly from the breads, calamari, trout and swordfish; and the proportions more than enough to require a stroll along the river after the Chocolate chocolate cake. Our server was amazing and you can't beat the riverfront location and views. They don't take reservations and those negative reviews usually involved large parties and special needs that take time to accommodate. Check Scottie's out, and enjoy! I would have given 5 Stars except for the pay to park phenomenon and QR codes that can be just annoying and have appeared in every major city. Nothing is free anymore including parking. We will be back.

You're definitely paying for the scenery because the food was underwhelming. We ordered six items,…read moreand three out of the six lacked flavor. The gumbo tasted like canned chili. The stuffed mushrooms did not taste fresh and also lacked flavor. The calamari lacked flavor as well and was a big disappointment. The server was nice and set our expectations, advising that some of the items we ordered were more of an acquired taste, but we were still disappointed. There was a server change at one point, and the new server was not careful when delivering the food and spilled the gumbo upon arrival. Considering the price and value, this place is definitely a one and done.
