Really great soft serve! We happened to drive by and decided to stop for a treat. They have a variety of ice cream options - cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, etc. I got a small hot fudge sundae with caulks soft serve and my partner got a small swirl cones with sprinkles. Portion sizes for the smalls were huge! We both enjoyed our ice cream. Prices were reasonable for what we got. Great spot to stop for something sweet in the area.

I totally support small businesses, especially in this tough time. That being said, 2 medium sundae's came to $18. Wow... can't make that mistake again. I remember seeing this place ever since I was a kid but can't remember ever going here. Figured it was time. A bit of an awkward drive through.. you drive around the building where there's a menu around back where you expect to order. Nope! Drive a bit further and order at the pick up window, as there's no speaker like you'd expect. Was greeted by an amazingly upbeat gentleman who took our order before we made it to the window. We ordered two medium hot fudge sundae's with some extras like sprinkles, etc. Prices said the medium sundae was in the mid $6 range for hard ice cream, so I'm not sure how/why the price for each sundae ended up close to $9, (if the sprinkles were that expensive.. wow!) but it did. Sundae was good, with the highlight being the toppings. They didn't skimp. But the flavors weren't "crazy good" as I had hoped being that this wasn't a chain. Will I return? Probably not. While the worker was great at customer service, it's not a place you can visit too often without breaking the bank.

Nothing negative I can say about ice cream ever! Old school ice cream shops make me so happy and bring me right back to childhood! I absolutely love them. This spot was super cute. It gave me the old school vibes, there is a parking lot and some tables to sit at in front of the booth. They offered tons of flavors, soft serve and hard scoop. They also offer dipped flavors like cherry, blueberry, chocolate. Yum. You can also get sundaes, milkshakes, etc. They have a variety of other things other than ice cream like burgers, hot dogs, fries however we didn't try since we just came for the ice cream. The cashier was super sweet and recommended a few different flavors when I was indecisive (per usual lol) My ice cream was super tasty too! Everything was fresh and enjoyable :)

This is an extremely casual place where one can order a variety of different cold treats such as milk shakes, flurries, sundaes, frozen yogurt, and slushies. Much of what is offered can be tailored to your liking. I loved my flurrie that was mixed with heath bar and Resee's pieces! The vibe is very laid back. If you are in a rush or the weather is bad, there is a drive through window. Otherwise, you can park, order at the front window, and eat outside at one of the few tables that are available for the customers. There are no indoor dining options at this facility.

Drive through and counter service ice cream spot with a wide variety of ice cream. Some of the ice cream is homemade and the rest is from Hershey's and Giffords. I got their chocolate chip, which they said was homemade, and I was not very impressed. The place is pretty dumpy, but the people were very friendly. The cone was generic 5/10

Fun little spot for sure! Vintage signs and decor, its open all year round and it has a drive thru! Everything was very well priced and the portions were super generous. Parking is miserable, but with a drive thru.....its all good. The menu was hugeeee 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream, tons of hard ice cream flavors, and the toppings were insane! Totally worth making alittle detour off the highway to check out.

I've been to Bill's a couple of times as it pretty close to home. I felt for a soft serve vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles (the kid in me). I went through their drive-thru. They don't have the speaker window, you actually have to go up to the actual window to order. They also had a makeover. Previously, they had their flavors painted on the back wall. Now there's a small menu just before the actual order window. Not being a person who enjoys holding up the line, I felt a slight bit of pressure as a car pulled behind me just as it was my turn to order. Originally I wanted the cone, but I changed my mind of course. The ordering process was quick, 1 scoop of Moose tracks 1 scoop of Oreo, served in a waffle cone with a peanut butter drizzle. Definitely decadent! My friend ordered the exact same thing. The total was around $20. A bit pricey but definitely good on a warm June evening.. I recommend giving them a try if you're in Westville.

Best soft serve ice cream around. Better then Dairy Queen and every other chain stores. The owner works hard to keep the business running good with the best quality and also great customer service. The carmel sundae is my wife's favorite, mine is the chocolate malted(always with extra malt) we always thought they closed at 9 or 10 pm. Now that we know they stay open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, we will be there more often for sure. If you have never been there i strongly suggest you give them a try, you won't be disappointed. .....and tell them Ron recommend them, and enjoy!! read more

I generally really like Bill's because they are close and the ice cream is good. However, I am only giving them 3 stars because they didn't open on time today. My mother walked there with my 2 and 7 year old and got there at 10:55am. Since it didn't open until 11am, they decided to wait. When no one showed up by 11:15am, they left. The sign clearly says that they open at 11am and it was really, really hot today! The kids were so disappointed. read more

This place is very dirty. They do not use gloves to handle your food unless you ask them to do so. The inside is not cleaned well by any means. The owners are very rude and unwelcoming. As I was there he was screaming out of the drive through window at another customer. Will not be going back to Bill's Carousel. read more

This is our favorite ice cream place. We drive far for it when we're in the mood. They do have LOTS of interesting flavors. My favorite is the black raspberry yogurt. Great Italian ice, milk shakes, soft serve, etc. The guys that work here are great! Always smiling and kind to the children!!! I have heard them take crap but they handle it well. You can definetlely tell they care about what they serve to people and they always make the changes my family asks for. read more

Soft serve ice cream was very good. When standing at the window it was a little difficult to actually find the 24 flavors they offered (a little poster on the window had them), but that is a minor thing. Staff were extremely friendly and that made for a nice experience. read more

The people who work there are always so nice! I always get the flurry with heath bar..(I ask for extra heath) and my husband always gets the watermelon italian ice. It's not the best but we go for the customer service and there is a drive thru...but they only take cash. read more

I always found the staff nice and the ice cream good yet overpriced. Tonight was my dogs birthday & I ordered myself chocolate soft serve with mint flavoring and my dog vanilla soft serve. They forgot the vanilla. When I called to let them know they said I can't get a Refund and should return to get the ice cream. I said I couldn't bc I lived 15 minutes away. I said I would come back for refund tomorrow. They said no I could only return to get the ice cream. I'm all set. Ten bucks for 2 soft serve ice creams and I always tip. My dog can eat soft serve from somewhere else & they can keep my $. If they need it that badly that it is worth losing a customer. Good luck. I won't return ever. read more

Just moved to the area and have been trying to get there every single day. I am still unsure of there hours but I went around 8:30 last night (Sunday). Lemme tell y'all ... the Dreamweaver ice cream, which is the purple scoop at the bottom tastes amazing! It contains double choc. cookies in purple s'mores ice cream w/ fudge & white stars. The other scoops of ice cream weren't even needed considering how good that one tasted. Please be mindful that this location is incredibly small, not very spacious. They usually are quick to tend to customers.

We arrived a bit early and were cheerfully greeted by Mike G, our server. The atmosphere was welcoming and relatively quiet, since their musical offering does not start as early as our 5:00-7:00 PM time slot on a Tuesday. We had asked for the waiter Christian because he had been mentioned in several of the Yelp reviews, but Mike proved that the service compliments should go to everyone. First, the tapas: We enjoyed all five of the tapas we chose. The "Calamares" were lightly battered and crispy. The Vinas salad was fresh, with tomatoes, cheese, corn, and croutons. The pork belly was delicious and more meaty than expected . The oyster mushrooms were presented with onion crisps. The baked birria empanada was stuffed with brisket style beef. Each of these "courses" was a unique delight to the palate, and for me and my partner, it was completely satisfying. In keeping with the spirit of a "wine bar," Vinas offered a flight of 4 wines in 3 ounce glasses, and after hearing about our food choices and wine preferences, Mike chose the wines for us, giving us a chance to taste some less familiar offerings. We had the Felino Malbec 2024 (Argentina), which became our favorite for its full-bodied and deep flavor. Our second wine was a unique Don Abel (private label) from Wallingford CT, made by one of the relatives of the owner, specially for Vinas. This one reminded us of the local wines one might receive in a B&B in the Loire Valley in France. The final two wines were both from Chile: Reserva Carmenere 2023 and Cabernet Sauvignon Marques de Casa Concha 2022. Both were excellent wines. It was great fun to have Mike choose the wines for us, and we really enjoyed the variety that the flight offerings gave to us. Of course, we had to try a dessert, and Mike recommended the Toffee Cake. We had heard that the owner claimed that some people cried with joy after eating it. Although we restrained ourselves, we had to agree that this was an extraordinary conclusion to a fabulous meal. Overall, this was a great experience for us, and we heartily recommend Vinas Wine Bar and Tapas for a relaxing and welcoming dinner. Some reviews I had read suggested that the portions were too small for the price. I have to disagree. My partner and I love food, and this was plenty. And the price was reasonable. Including tip and tax, we spent about $75 each.
