Today I went to Oliver's to buy something to take to eat while out at the beach…read more I wanted a teriyaki chicken bowl. I noticed that they started putting broccoli and carrots in the bowl. I started to ask the person who was making sushi about the added vegetables. I have been buying these chicken bowls for years without the vegetables being in the bowl. I dont like the vegetables in the bowls. I asked the lady who works in the sushi department when they started adding the vegetables ,because I know the last time I purchased them there were no vegetables. Thats when the guy making pizza dough butted in and rudely said that they have always put the vegetables in the chicken bowls . I latter learned his name is Armoni. I told him that I had been buying these chicken bowls for years and no vegetables. The sushi lady said about 6 month ago. Armani insisted it has been for 2 years even after the sushi making lady said 6 months. Armani acted like he knew more that the lady that makes these bowls for the hot food department and like he knows more than a regular customer who has been shopping there since the store opened in this location. He was very rude to me and his fellow worker. He should have minded his own business and stuck to making pizza. Normally the employees are very nice in the Oliver's Market. I do have to give a big thumbs up to I think his name was Trevor. He was the guy who was sweeping the floors. I watched him clean under and behind things with such detailed attention all while having a smile on his face. I hope I got his name correct. He was a thin guy with short blond hair a big smile .

They offer a 10% Senior discount on Wednesdays and have a weekly ad plus specials that last for 3 months. They have an assortment of prepared food plus a deli, fish and meat counter. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They also have a large selection of vitamins, healthy alternatives for healing, etc. There is a large parking lot but it is usually pretty crowded on Wednesdays.

Here is a funny, tongue-in-cheek Yelp review for Oliver's Market (Montecito). I've incorporated the…read morespecific details you mentioned, plus a few "insider" positives (like the meat counter and local goods) This place is basically the clown car of grocery stores: tiny on the outside, but somehow contains an infinite universe of high-end cheese and local produce on the inside. The Good: If you need an obscure local goat cheese, a loaf of bread that sings to your soul, or produce that looks like it was polished by fairies, this is your spot. The prepared foods and hot bar are dangerous--I went in for milk and came out with a three-course dinner and a mortgage on a brisket. Also, the meat and seafood counter? Legitimately awesome. It's clean, well-stocked, and feels like a true neighborhood gem. The "Eh": Ah, the service. Classic Oliver's. It's that special brand of "meh" where they aren't mean, they're just... profoundly unbothered by your existence. They are employee-owners, which I guess means they own the right to not make eye contact. The Battle: Parking is technically "decent," which is code for "fine at 10 AM on a Tuesday, but a reenactment of Mad Max at 5 PM." The lot fills up faster than my cart in the wine aisle. Verdict: I will continue to fight for a parking spot and accept the indifferent service because the bread and cheese are just that good.

They are sweet little gems that would be perfect to decorate a cake or cupcakes or just to snack on when you want a little sugar hit. I also got the Korean style Bimbim-Guksu from the refrigerator case but be aware if you are buying it for a picnic or lunch at work, the dressing is at the bottom of the container and there is no way you can distribute the dressing evenly without dumping the contents into a large bowl. That said the noodle salad was fresh and delicious and the dressing was very flavorful. Of course one of the best things about shopping at TJ's is the friendly, helpful staff I am so happy that they keep expanding their choices of foods from all over the world

The store is clean, well organized, and despite being consistently busy, the shelves are always well stocked. There's plenty of parking, which makes shopping here much more convenient than many other Trader Joe's locations. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. While I enjoy shopping at this location because of the ample parking, I personally prefer the other Trader Joe's in town since it tends to be less crowded. Even so, this is still a reliable store with excellent products and great customer service.
