So I roll in here on College Footballs opening weekend to grab a bite, a beer and watch some games. This place is very cool with HUGE SCREENS, not just TVs but HUGE SCREENS all over. They have the Sportsbook to the left and the bar to the right. Very cool lounge seating in the front with many couches. High table seating near the back. I ordered an IPA and the chicken. Sandwich with fries. The chicken was juicy and the bacon thick. They forgot the sauce on the sandwich but not bother I asked for it on the side. Very yummy. Place was pretty loud but expected. I could totally see myself and a group hanging out all day while eating, drinking and watching. Funny thing is I placed a bet for a baseball game that I won and went to collect the next day and told the guy I really liked his place how long have they been open........he said yesterday was the grand opening. LOL! I was there for their grand opening and had no clue. Will totally be back.

Fries are perfect if you love the skinny crispy type of fries like me. (10/10 For my son chicken tenders is his go too. He said it was crispy and delicious. 10/10 My wife got the heat check, she gave it an 8.5/10 -1.5 for barely any spice but overall the burger was to her liking. My daughter got the margarita sandwich she did not know she ordered a veggie burger(lol) but she gave it a 6/10 the cheese was too thick for her liking.

The food was pretty solid overall. We ordered the Cajun shrimp salad, Tavern burger, buffalo cauliflower, and fish and chips. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because the buffalo cauliflower didn't actually taste like buffalo -- it leaned more toward a curry-style spice. It was still good, just not what we were expecting. The fish and chips came with deep-fried salmon, which unfortunately was a bit dry. On the bright side, the fries were SO good -- they tasted like they were fried in beef tallow and reminded us of McDonald's fries in the best way. Overall, a good spot with a nice atmosphere, and I'd definitely be open to trying other items on the menu next time!

The decor/ambiance is excellent albeit maybe a little over-the-top but on the ground floor on the corner of a busy street it lacks any kind of special view. The drinks and food surprised me, they were actually pretty decent! Nothing absolutely incredible but for example the creamy vegetable risotto was some of the best risotto I've ever had. Pasta dish was overcooked (but what us Americans are used to.) Like most any restaurant, your mileage may vary depending on what specific menu items you choose. Service was excellent and the food prices are very reasonable FOR SOUTH LAKE TAHOE CASINO HOTEL DINING (many entrees under $30 -- cocktails are overpriced in general, low-mid $20's which is typical for high-end casino hotel craft cocktails.) This is a strong/high 4 stars. 5 stars if I let the designer decor, celebrity branding, or vacation/special occasion splurge mentality bias my judgment on the cuisine level and/or profit center cocktail prices.

The service was not great our server checked on our table for drinks twice in the two hours we were there but she was nice. Every dish we got was room temperature nothing was hot and the food was extremely disappointing, every dish... We ordered 6 appetizers, maybe they would've been better hot but flavor wasn't there at all. The lobster ceviche was pretty good. The cauliflower was pretty good but would've been better hot off the stove. We're a big fan of goat cheese but the goat cheese balls were not it they didn't have a crunch they were more soggy because they were room temperature and drenched in Honey. The artichoke dip was OK (chips n dip) the mac & cheese we all took one bite of, no cheese pull just mush. I added a lobster tail to my pasta it was extremely tough, but I still ate it,the pasta I only took one bite of, the cherry tomatoes should have been cooked longer they were almost raw and it tasted like it was made with stewed tomatoes or some type of low end pasta sauce in a jar ( for the price I'd expect some type of wine or garlic or fresh grated cheese flavor and no nothing just canned tomato flavor). The filet mignon was OK not bad but it was drenched in a barbecue type sauce, I expected some kind of wine sauce or gravy type sauce or brandy type sauce and no it was more of an A1 sauce all over the potatoes and steak. The price wasn't high compared to other fine dining restraunts but I wouldn't go here again. It could be nice if you wanted to sit at the bar for drinks and maybe bread but i wouldn't even go back if i was given a gift card because all the food was mid.

Warmly greeted and seated promptly by the staff…read more Chef Gordon's 5-Course Prix Fixe menu was simply exquisite. After first seeing the Amuse Bouche, one might presume an evening of tiny, expensive bites -- leaving one hungry afterwards. Please know that couldn't be further from the truth here. Each course was its own little world. The variety of flavors from each course was interesting, yet perfect together -- moving from seafood to lamb to beef. The Lamb Lollipops with Tomato Jam were simply the best lamb I have ever enjoyed in my entire life. It was moist and flavorful even without either of the sauces. I think they may have ruined lamb for me, because wherever I go from now on, their lamb will be compared to HK, and most certainly lose out. I can just hear it now, "Nope, Hell's Kitchen lamb was better." Now, the Mini Beef Wellington was special, as well. Between the puff pastry and the beef is a thin layer of what I can only describe as mushroom purée. It is wonderful and adds something to the puff pastry that is unique. It's another dish that may be tough to beat, as well. Lastly, the Individual Sticky Toffee Pudding was not what I was expecting from the name, but it, too, was a hit with the entire party. Bo Young was a fantastic server -- very attentive and informative regarding each course. The ambiance was a casual elegance, fitting for such a fine meal. We simply can't wait to return.

I also tried Hell's Kitchen in LV, but I didn't like it that much. Ironically, I really wanted to try it again. So when I got the opportunity to try it again, I was hyped. The restaurant itself is tucked in the middle of a casino, and the decor is very fancy and nice, even if it isn't hell themed. But, the food is what matters. Me (My mom's tween son) and my dad both got the iconic "Beef Wellington", and my mom got the "Pan-Seared Salmon". The Beef Wellington had a wall-to-wall cook of medium-rare (130 degrees F). Also, the filet mignon was ridiculously tender, the mushroom duxelle added a very nice umami kick, and the potatoes and other assorted vegetables tasted pretty good, (remember, I hate veggies) and the puff pastry was flaky, salty, and soft. 10/10 steak, everything was perfect! My mom's salmon had a crunchy and crispy bottom skin, and the fish itself was soft, cooked to perfection, and tasted very high-quality. Then, the desserts came in. The iconic "Sticky Toffee Pudding" was, well, very sticky, insanely sweet, and the ice cream on top added to the flavor, even if it was just vanilla. Oh yeah! I forgot something! My mom ordered a decaf coffee, since it was late at night. It tastes bitter, but not too bitter, so it was just right. Finally, the "Cherry Cheesecake" was super creamy, cheesy, and sugary. And with the whipped cream, oh, so good! The servers too, were very nice, kind, and always acting very cheerful and happy. The bill came out to $275.94. Even if the wait was very long, the food made up for it by being high-quality and overall delicious. Final scores: Beef Wellington, 100/100 Pan-Seared Salmon, 94/100 Sticky Toffee Pudding, 89/100 Cherry Cheesecake, 100/100 Service, 25/25 Wait time, 4/10 Would I go back? Yes! I had the Gambler Steak Burger with garlic parmesan fries. My brother got the Blackened Salmon Ceasar Salad. I was surprised when the waiter said "good choice the salmon here is delicious". They have wild caught king salmon delivered twice a week. We split our food. The salmon was as good or better than any piece of salmon I have ever had. It melted in your mouth. My burger was cooked medium to perfection. Super juicey and delicious. Among the best burgers I have ever had no joke; they grind their own meat. The hand cut fries were really good too. Service is friendly and attentive. Great beer selection and plenty of TVs to catch the game you are after. We liked it so much that we went back and ordered the same dishes the next day and they were perfect again. They passed the consistency test. Yes two days in a row; thats how good it was. I looked at the bad reviews and it must have been off days for those bad experiences.

They probably use corn starch instead of flour, because they aren't overly breaded. Shoutout to the prep workers there (whatup Zoe!), because the food is like crazy good, hot, and fast. For most of the food, they have this insane rotating grill that you can see from the street. Super cool operation Steak salad is a must as well. It's so refreshing! It's got a balsamic dressing, some bleu cheese, and either raisin or dried cranberry and maybe walnuts. I don't actually know because I shovel it down my throat lol. Burgers are the best in the area. Even their less popular items are very well done. Recently got a sausage and peppers sandwich that was as good as what I routinely make at home. Atmosphere is amazing. All the employees go above and beyond. I usually sit at the bar and play any of their video gambles. You win some, you tip extra, you leave happy. You lose some and get some beers on the house. I'll go there if I go to Nevada beaches, or if I want to catch a game. South Lake resident and I generally avoid stateline for it's crowds but I'll head up to Lucky Beaver just for the food. I'm assuming they do PPV MMA fights which is another excuse to show up going forward Shoutout to Bruno as well. Awesome bartender. There's also a few awesome gals who's names escape me at the moment. It's a super chill place while having a great vibe and energy The other patrons are just fun people, it's easy to have a conversation with the guy sitting next to you. It's a well known place but I think it's still a hidden gem amongst all that chaos lol. For a 24 hour place, it's very chill. Never had a bad experience. It's good for hanging out with friends but I wouldn't hesitate bringing my nieces and nephews and whole family there. Only critique is parking. They don't comp it, but all parking is paid now at the casinos, so it's no surprise, that's just the standard.. I think if you get in and out in less than an hour parking is free, so keep that in mind. You can also park further away at other free parking areas and walk.

The Seafood Plateau was incredible with King Crab Legs, Jumbo Prawns, Mussels, Lobster Tail, Ahi Tuna Poke, and Salmon Poke. It was a tad spendy, but since it's shareable for 4-5, I'd say it's worth it and would definitely order again next time. We also had the Crab Cake, two sizeable patties -- a little bit more flavorful and larger than your typical Crab Cake. The Grilled Broccolini was good, but typical. Lastly, for appetizers, the Crispy Pork Belly was also a hit -- although I did not get a taste as it is smaller and not so much shareable. The pièce de résistance was the Tomahawk Steak. Cooked perfectly medium-rare and served with Chimichurri and Au Poivre sauces on the side. The steak was very flavorful without any sauce, IMO. Served with Grilled Asparagus and Lobster Mac & Cheese. Kelsey provided excellent suggestions and service throughout. The ambiance was nice -- not dressy, but not casual. Resort attire, is what they call it, I think. We will definitely be back!

All things considered, we had a good experience, and we'd likely return next time we visit the area. The positive? The food was excellent. The negative? The hostesses and the waiter. My wife had the Salmon Oscar and simply loved it. She got the broccoli as a side, and it was a plentiful helping. She also said the broccoli was fresh and nicely cooked. I had the pairing of the NY and grilled shrimp, with a baked potato as a side. The steak was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were a bit small, but the lemon butter was a nice pairing. It's hard to mess up a baked potato, but I've seen it done. This one was perfect and had just the right amount of butter. For dessert, we shared the carrot cake...boy, was this good! We were sorry we didn't order two. We would return for the carrot cake alone. It was very moist, and the frosting was just the right amount of sweet. We loved it! When we arrived, there was a gaggle of folks at the hostess stand. Not one greeted us warmly, nor were we told to enjoy our meal. We had added a "special occasion" during the booking. No one at the restaurant ever mentioned it. It was extremely disappointing! The waitress was tepid. She would warm up at times, but it was definitely not our best experience.
