We decided to give Hell's Kitchen a try for our anniversary dinner and went with the Prix Fixe menu, which included the scallop appetizer, Beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The scallop appetizer was very good. Unfortunately, the Beef Wellington was a miss for both of us. We thought it had an odd flavor, which I'm pretty sure came from the black truffle. It may simply have been a matter of personal taste, but neither of our palates enjoyed it. The pastry lacked that light, flaky, buttery texture that should make a Wellington shine. We ended up peeling the pastry off and scraping away the truffles. The star of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious and the highlight of the meal. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant itself didn't feel particularly romantic for an anniversary dinner. The vibe was more "upscale cafeteria" than intimate dining experience. That said, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the night. We had a great experience here and sat at the bar so service was pretty impeccable. The drinks were great and the sides were delicious but the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they had to send the steak back since it wasn't cooked medium as requested, it was definitely well done. To top it off when they took the steak back, all of our sides were left so they got cold and they didn't offer to bring any hot sides back. For a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, I did expect a bit more. It was sweet, tangy, and I liked the sparkling. I had never had foie gras before, so I decided to try it. It came with. Dried berries, , strawberry gastrique, scottish shortbread, and candied marcona almonds. Oh my God. It was rich, creamy, and smooth. I can see why they call it "meat butter." It doesn't happen often, but I was making the same faces that Rachael Ray would make every time she took a bite of food on her old show, $40 a day. The perfect bite was. Foie gras, on top of a piece of the shortcake, run through that gastrique. . . My sister told me to try the short rib, and she was right on. We went there to celebrate our anniversary, there were only few tables with people. The server was kind and warming. The caesar salad was really good, that's why they were so pricey. The lobster risotto and scallops were also great, perfectly cooked. Their famous beef wellington was also tasty, beef was so tender and I liked the pastry outside. The new york strip was not that amazing, but still decent. I also liked the mushroom in top of that, but the sauce was just too much and covered the flavor of steak. For my partner's birthday, we had another fine meal at Hell's Kitchen. If you're a fan of the tv show, you gotta go, right? The atmosphere is fire and ice, and former HK winners line the wall. We visited hell's kitchen on 12/13/2025 to celebrate three birthdays in our friend group. There were 10 people in our group. When we arrived to check-in, we were seated immediately. Our table was all the way in the back and we actually had a private room which I'm glad we did cause we were loud lol. I really liked our space and how private it was. Our server was Wes. Thank god we had him, he was very chill and calm and took care of our table. He was on top of everything. He was very friendly and very sociable. Shoutout to Wes and his assistant who took care of our group exceptionally. Also I want to thank the manager who checked on our table to make sure everything was okay. We ordered numerous different dishes. I can honestly say, each of our dish was really good, absolutely no complaints. We also ordered from their specials and pre fixe menu. Drinks: Horseman- This drink was okay, just stick with the regular old fashion but if you want to try something new or different then give the horseman a try. Note From Gordon- I had to of this drinks, they are very refreshing and you literally get a note from gordon lol. Espresso Martini- This was really good, all my friends knocked this drink out right away. Mai Tai & Uncharted Appetizers: Grilled Octopus- loved, loved this appetizer. I ordered it at the LV location and I ordered it here. I honestly think it was better at this location. The rest of the table enjoyed it too. This was cooked well and not chewy at all. Perfect consistency. Tuna Tartare- Another appetizer that was very tasty. This tuna tartare had some good fish to it and had good mixings to it. Lobster Risotto- I woud love to try this dish again as my own. One of my friends tried it out and they really enjoyed it. I've heard a lot of good reviews on this dish. Entree: Rack of lamb- Everyone in our table was jealous of my rack of lamb. This rack of lamb was made right and to my liking. Good portion as well. Oscar Style- I love crab. This was filet mignon with crab on the top. If you're hungry I don't think this will be enough meal for you. Beef Wellington- You can never go wrong with this dish. I had this dish at their LV location and I personally think it was really good. It is something you definitely must try especially if it's your first time. We had other meals we ordered, it's just a lot to remember. All in all, this was an amazing experience. New York strip: Good cut, but again the sauce was on the salty side. Drinks: Espresso martini: Very strong -- which some people might love -- but it was too much for me to finish. I've definitely had better. Tommy's margarita: 8/10. Good balance of alcohol and flavor. Market margarita: Enjoyed the subtle jalapeño kick. Sides: Brussels sprouts: Not bad, but I've had better. Some friends wanted to go here for a birthday celebration, so we went recently. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed overall. I of course expected everything to be expensive, but I wasn't impressed with the quantity OR quality of the items, ESPECIALLY when you factor in the price. I was looking up nearby fast food restaurants on my phone during dinner because of how disappointing this was... I got the New York Strip Steak and it was very mediocre. I know strips aren't the most tender cut, but this was quite chewy, and it was also over the medium rare that I ordered. Most egregious however was the lack of flavor. I legitimately didn't taste much seasoning at all, and it NEEDED the red wine demi-glace to be palatable. Overall pretty disappointing in my opinion. The wagyu meatballs were just okay. Not very distinguishable from regular meatballs, except these cost almost $5 each! The Mac n cheese honestly reminded me of Annie's white shell boxed macaroni....enough said. The sticky toffee pudding was EASILY the best part of the meal. This was delicious--very rich and flavorful without being too sweet. Not enough to redeem the meal overall, but very good nonetheless. This is a must try if you come here in my opinion. We went with the beef Wellington and filet mignon (Pittsburg style). The service was excellent -- the details, excellent -- to a point that, if someone from our group stepped away, the waiter would sneak in and tidy things up. We decided to go to Hells Kitchen, Lake Tahoe because were big fans of the show and of Gordon Ramsay in general. (I've been to his Steakhouse in Vegas) and we had family visiting from New York, so we wanted a special dining experience. The restaurant is inside the Caesars casino, so you do enter through the lobby. The room itself is on the small side and was busy at the time we were there but the noise level was still easy to talk and visit. There is no bathroom inside the restaurant so you have to use the one just outside in the lobby area. The décor was nice, with all the past show winners pictures on the wall. I liked the half blue/red kitchen. This restaurant does not have any live tv show going on. It's much more relaxed. The staff and servers were very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and prepared well. My bf had the Prix fixed menu, which included a Caesar salad, Beef Wellington and their famous Toffee Pudding Cake. I had the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato salad and the Braised Short Rib. We enjoyed our meal, as well as the carefully crafted cocktails. The lobster risotto with crispy onions was a 10/10 for me. The beef Wellington was also amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, everything. Plain/bare table (no table clothes?) and tableware was one plain fork and one dinner knife, although a meager steak knife was provided when the entree arrived. We would have informed our service provider but she disappeared for 15 minutes and the bus person we spoke with seemed willing to help but confused. Had it not been a special occassion for us I would have asked for a manager. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was good but would have preferred it with a beverage but it was too much trouble to get the wait staff's attention. $300+ price wasn't an issue if the ambiance, staff, OR food had been anything more than disappointing. The restaurant is constantly busy, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant has a nice vibe but it's not too upscale to the point that wearing jeans and a t-shirt was totally okay. They have a full bar as you walk in with bar stools at the counter. There are also a handful of tables in the bar area. The main dining area has several different table configurations that are sure to cater to most party sizes. There are no bathrooms inside the restaurant. They are located to your right as you exit the restaurant. Our server was pleasant, friendly and attentive. I ordered a Moscow mule and the beef Wellington. I found the mule to be quite tasty and refreshing. The yelp reviews seem to be all over the place regarding the Wellington, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation of the plate was very elegant. I found the Wellington to be very tender and very flavorful. The breading around the meat was a nice touch. I found myself wanting more mashed potatoes, because they were extremely good. I found the price point for the Wellington to be fair considering how good it was. Even without reservations, my wife and I were easily able to slip into HK and sit at the bar on a Thursday night. We were simply there to try one thing: The Sticky Toffee Pudding. The service here is amazing. Everyone was checking in on us and was very nice. Everything was quick and painless. The vibes here are full on Hell's Kitchen. Everything is branded with the HK logo. You won't forget where you are, that's for sure. We ordered a penicillin cocktail and the sticky toffee pudding. The drink was great- very booze forward. Then came the pudding. If you haven't had it, its an ultra moist cake with toffee flavor and pieces topped with the most amazing caramel sauce. A truly special treat. While we didn't come to HK on this visit to try the actual food, I felt like our short experience here was still worthy of a 5 star review. Hell's Kitchen can be a bucket list experience for any foodie or fan of the show, but it's only really something you need to experience once. I've been three times and highly recommend coming in with a reservation. Even with a reservation, service was subpar, and if you go with a group of six or more, you can expect even less as gratuity is automatically included. The menu is standard year round; however, there are always off menu specials that your server will pitch. On my last visit, I decided to stick with the standard menu and ordered the Corn and Crab Chowder as a starter and Braised Beef Short Rib for dinner. The soup had an immaculate presentation with service pouring the broth over the king crab and topping off with oil. The braised beef short rib was decent. I had a bite of my partner's Beef Wellington and preferred that more. For dessert, don't skip out on the Sticky Toffee Pudding. This is a Chef Ramsey classic for a reason! Overall, we had a good meal; however, the guest experience could be improved. For Hell's Kitchen, everyone from wait staff to the kitchen moves at a snail's pace and we spent over 2.5 hours at dinner, which felt ridiculously long and exhausting. I've been wanting to try this restaurant ever since enjoying the series, and I finally got the chance at their Tahoe location, it didn't disappoint. We went with the tasting menu, which included the scallops, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. On top of that, we also ordered the lobster risotto and their mac and cheese. The scallops were a hit, fresh and perfectly cooked, with flavors that balanced beautifully. The lobster risotto was excellent, though it had a strong garlic flavor. The beef Wellington was cooked perfectly medium-rare and absolutely delicious. For me, the mac and cheese and sticky toffee pudding were the standout dishes, rich, flavorful, and completely satisfying. read more
