We hosted our son's 6th birthday party at Billy Beez. We had such a great time and experience that I had to leave a review. This was the most affordable place from all the other indoor playground. The staff was very communicative, friendly, detail oriented and helpful. This was a stress-free birthday party for me and the kids all had a blast. this place is an absolute joke. they expect a parent to pay full price to be able to go inside and monitor your child while they are playing. this is unacceptable being that you can not see your children in all areas of the play area if you are not inside. someone could easily grab your kid and make an exit with them while out of your sight. then they also want a waiver signed exhonorating them of all liabilities. well let me explain, that if I can not be inside watching my children, how am I supposed to be responsible for them playing safely in the play area. I think these policies need to be thought about and corrected. looks like it's a fun place, but managed very wrong. Highly disappointed. Kid friendly place that is not parent friendly. This place is awesome awesome awesome for kids...and...uh...I had fun too! Its a giant maze which consisted of tunnels, slides, and tubes. There was a "war" room with lots of balls that shot in the air via air pressure and air guns for the same balls up top. What a great time! Its socks only - No shoes and no bare feet so wears Sundays best socks! The place was immaculately clean - I had white socks and they looked the when I left as when I came in. Your kids will be exhausted after playing in the b-ball court, the soccer room, and the veritable wonderland of maze... There is a concession stand which I did not use, save 2 bottles of water at $2.00 each. They had some food prepared, however, which didnt look that great. That would be my ONLY complaint. I would like to share with you my recent experience with Billy Beez (location - Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown NY). I booked a birthday party for October 23, 2021 for my two daughters turning 5 and 6. Unfortunately the experience from start to finish was unorganized, and unprofessional. To keep this brief I will list the issues we faced from arrival to the end of the party. - Our Party time was for 11am. We arrived exactly at 11 as we were told that the facility would not open until 11am sharp. Upon arrival NOTHING was prepared. They did not have our pre-signed waivers ready and it took them 10 minutes to locate the staff who had the waivers. - We were not escorted to our party room, and had no way of knowing where our party would be, they told us, "walk around to the back of the building." - The party host did not communicate anything to us, and she was wearing no Billy Beez name tag and house slippers. - When we finally found our room it was not set up! At this point it was almost 11:30. The room was dirty, there was old dirty socks left on the floor, the tables and floors were a mess. No plates, utensils or balloons. It took the host 45 minutes to get the children their socks! - Our party did not officially start until 11:45. The party host kept disappearing. I know she was a "shared" host, but the parent from the other party had the same exact issues. - Soda machine was broken, pizza was cold, and the party host did not provide any napkins or utensils - We had to wait over 10 minutes for cake utensils and a lighter. The children just sat around the table staring at the cake. - The last and most offensive part is that at approximately 1:15 the party host told us our time was up and we needed to leave the party room. Our party did not start until 11:45 and that was not our fault. She never even provided cake plates so the kids could not have cake until after 1pm. It was beyond unprofessional, all the staff was fully aware that our party started extremely late. - When that parents for the 1pm party arrived, they entered our party room and staff were cleaning up before we even had time to pack up the presents. The parents for the 1pm party were clearly agitated and no staff provided an explanation to them that Billy Beez was running behind, not us. - My kids were anxious and upset, I was embarrassed. I paid over 450 dollars, and received terrible service, in a dirty party room that in the end they rushed us out of! I understand the facility is short staffed. We did not need a personal party host. What we needed was professional staff that were prepared ahead of time. I only had six children at my party. In total, I spent over $450 dollars for this party. I did not receive the full 120 minutes in a clean party room, timely party room set up, a professional and attentive party host or adequate utensils. read more

My daughter loves it here. The staff has been laid back both times I came. Only complaint there wasn't someone at the gate the whole time or at the register. It was either or. Young staff so just be sure you are monitoring your own kids. It's cool here. read more

This is a great place for younger and older kids alike. My 2 boys 4yr and 2yr had a great time. They were very security aware checking your wrist band against your kids. Everything was clean and working. This place is large. And I mean very large. I got lost in there chasing after my kids. This is large enough for me to walk through most of it. What a waste of money and sadly they gave me and my grandkids a discount, I'm a First Responder. They stole the idea of Chucky Cheese and use it for profit. Which I understand, however their was another area minibeez area which was another $5.00 dollars per child. Staff seems upset and angry especially after Christmas. Kids are scorned by some female parent whom my girls immediately reported it. With all my complaint and hangry attitude the kids including my oldest baby 35yrs old Son Had a great time. Maybe, perhaps Christmas has nothing to do with toys, presents or food. It feels as my Heart grew 2 inches tall. Place very clean and well kept, needs to be dated. Kids treated well, allow to re-enter establishment. Merry Christmas. P S. My Son came back that evening with the kids, he was approached by a manger who had read my post. ****Update 1/4/20 - I was subsequently contacted by the district manager. She was very understanding and empathetic. I greatly appreciate her professionalism and follow up. The staff on site have always been polite and helpful. Up until a few months ago I always had positive experiences at this location, especially with regards to the staff and location managers. Unfortunately two months ago one of their floor managers stole my credit card, used it in the mall, and caused me a great deal of difficulties and wasted time to rectify the situation. When I spoke to the OWNER regarding the matter after many many phone calls and emails, I was basically asked how I could prove what had occurred and even when I informed him that the police were the ones that notified me of the perpetrator and that mall employees had identified him, the owner still was very dismissive and offered me one free entry for my two children. Subsequently, I was notified by the investigating police officer that later corporate management had informed him that they did have cameras all over the location and volunteer to check the cameras. I was not made aware of this when I spoke with the owner and was dismissed. The officer was also made aware that the suspect had immediately quit after I had notified the location of the possible theft and had relocated to the city. While circumstantial, this is pretty clear evidence of wrongdoing. I received no follow-up or contact of any manner after this was discussed. Follow up emails and phone calls were ignored and never replied to by corporate. I've been a loyal customer who has brought their children to this location many times each month for years. I am beyond disappointed. read more

My 3 year old son found a video of another family visiting Billy Beez on YouTube, he saw the slides and really kept asking us to take him there. We decided to take him, it was a Monday during the school year during the early afternoon so you were basically alone. I take into account that they have less staff on duty during off-peak times so it may very well be different at peak times but you did feel alone most of the time, which can be a good thing. Parents really have to watch their own kids, which is not an issue for regular parents, but for those parents who set their kids free while they sit down at a table playing on their laptop it can be annoying to be dealing with someone else's rowdy kid going down the slide the wrong way, running full speed, etc.. with no parents or staff in sight. Also before I got there, some mother was complaining to the desk that someone was taking pictures of their own kids and the pictures had their daughter in the background so she was threatening to sue. Very over dramatic but now made me self-conscious of taking pictures of my own kids while I was there. Didn't help that this tirade was being given to the 1 cashier, who I could purchase tickets to enter from, and 2 other staff chose to listen to her tirade. So I stood there with my 2 kids for 10 minutes while this mom went on a tirade to 3 staff members. Overall, I would recommend Billy Beez for kids 4 and older, the toddler fun area for kids younger than that isn't worth the price of admission and there isn't much to do for them. The small village which they charge extra for isn't something worth paying extra for, it's cute, but it should be included in the price and not an extra fee. Either way, I paid the extra fee, but could have gone in without paying the fee as there was no staff around the entire time we were in there, and the gate is open for anyone to enter. The enclosed soccer area and basketball area was really great, but the scoreboard was not working. Again, I acknowledge that the absence of staff could be to the off peak timing of my visit, but still think a high standard of customer service and service delivery should be kept regardless. read more

Overall clean. The service is terrible. The woman who helped us pay scolded us for not telling her my 11 month old would have to be held by me while my son played. I told her I would pay but she said it was too late since the transaction was done. So I had to call my husband to come and get my daughter. Not right. None of the children were wearing the socks you were supposed to buy. Some barefoot or wearing their own. Not very safe. No one was enforcing the larger kids to calm down and not play rough. I followed my son for a while in the smaller child's area. He saw the area with the school, bank, grocery store etc and he was playing in there for over a half hour. An employee came over and told us that we had to go and pay more for him if he wanted to play in that area. Nobody told us that it was extra when we arrived. Also there was another employee who saw my son playing for that period of time and she never stopped us from continuing to play. She was cleaning the area and never said we needed a special band. My son cried hysterically when he was forced out of that area. We left after that. I also wanted to add that I passed my daughter over gate at the exit where the area where an employee is supposeed to swipe you in and out. That could have been anyone taking my daugbrer. I also had to swipe myself and my son out because the team was texting in a corner. I just wouldn't feel safe leaving a child here if they aren't watchIng them going in and out and who they are with. I love the concept and wish there were more of these but this particular location needs help. read more

I really enjoy this place with my toddler. She loves the village (which is extra) and the soccer area. I wouldn't eat here since it can be a little pricey and food options aren't that great. There is a food court right outside if want more of a selection. Staff are very friendly especially the manager. I would suggest to come during a weekday after school NOT on the weekend or holidays. read more

I would like to complain about policy you have the a child who is not participating in any activities has to play 10 dollars. Your manager at your Middletown Crystal Run Location was very rude and actually laughed at me when I asked could my 16 year old daughter just sit in a chair. There are approximately 10 kids in this whole place including my two. It's Tuesday night so it not like it's packed or a weekend with lots of kids Some young women who was at the register told me she was the manager but would not give me her name. When I asked for a printed copy of the policy she told me she didn't have a computer. She told me to go to the website. I understand your policies are put in place but her excuse was for security. Which when I asked why if she is just sitting down with me how is that security. If it's about Billy Bees making extra to have some sit down for $10.73 that's fine just tell us. Seems like a lot of money to sit in a chair. I guess using the internet you provide is the reason why I had to pay. However, I understand policies are Policies but the way I was treated was unacceptable. If this is who you put in charge has a manager then I will have to tell everyone I know never to come to Billy Bees at cystral Run in Middletown. This place is OK, Although I am upset at some things, my kids had fun. I went for my sons Bday, there was no HOT food what so ever except bags of chips and drinks that were an arm and a leg (expensive). I spent 4 hrs there and my kids were hungry but didn't want to leave. I kept giving them Doritos.. because I wasn't able to step out and bring food and sit down and eat. The place is great for older children who listen/ don't get nervous in unfamiliar situations. It's massive with tubes leading to slides all over the place. I was able to follow my 2.5yo around until she'd disappear into tunnels and I would have to climb down and run to every slide to look for her- nerve wrecking. For the toddler area you have to pay extra. It's set up like a children's museum would be (kitchen, drs office, grocery store) but it doesn't seem like the staff reorganizes the mess everyday. It was thrown everywhere. It's an expensive play place, not sure about sanitation, and you're almost guaranteed to need a drink after you leave. read more

Awful management. I am a grandmother who is accompanying my daughter, who payed for her and four children. I wanted to go in to their cafeteria and they would not let me in unless I paid for my sleeping one-year-old grandson. I guess the $45 my daughter paid wasn't enough. I explained to them that they were losing money because I was just buying food and not jumping in their play area, but the person at the door did not understand. Sadly, the kids like the place. This place is great for the kids. My reason for giving it 2 stars is because the staff members that are working here spend more time sitting down and and all of them are listening to their iPods. I don't think I have seen one person that works here without an earbud in their ear. I feel that this is very unprofessional. They should be spending more time working with the kids telling them not to run around and to slow down. Fun place and slides but it's expensive, unclean and the employees are rude. They close at 8:30, but we're MOPPING the mats at 6:30. Mind you, the water was dirty and they didn't close off the areas so kids were coming down slides on wet mats. The staff were running around playing on the equipment, and closing sections early. Great Fun for the kids not too too expensive. That's the end of the good stuff! I find the place a lot run down and dirty my white socks aren't white anymore. Staff not very attentive to the needs of the kids or the cleanliness of the facility. They charge 5 bucks extra to use a designated play area just for under 5 on top of the general admission that doesn't make sense to me it should be one price. However my biggest problem is how dirty it is we arrived at 12:00pm they were only open for about 2 hours and we were the 2nd family here so it wasn't like a rush of people before us on a Thursday. I would probably make the 30 minute journey to the Billy Beez in the Palisades Mall before returning here sorry but dirty and run down just don't work in my book. Perfect for letting the littles burn off steam. It's a little on the pricey side as you pay for adult admission too BUT they also allow you to leave and come back the same day. Lots to keep the kids busy as bees. I couldn't even count all the slides. Well lit and clean, the attendant even waived my fee as I have a limb in a cast, nice! Speaking of slides, make sure to dress your kiddos in long sleeves and pants. Socks with grippys are a good idea too. My only complaint would be that all the seats for the grown ups aren't padded. My children love Billy Beez! My 3, 7, &8 year olds all find fun things to do there.

I'm a 55 year old male. After a 45 minute drive, Easter Sunday, I arrive at Billy Beez at the Galeria Mall with my extended family of children and grand-children. I enter ahead of the group because I have to use the bathroom urgently. I look for the facilities and they are behind the play entrance. I ask the cashier, a short, bespectacled, African-American woman in her early twenties, if there was a restroom available for me to use. She tells me that I must pay the entrance fee and obtain a wristband, in order to relieve myself. The problem resolved itself when I realized that the restrooms in the mall next store were accessible even though the stores were closed for the holiday. Lesson: Billy Beez Corp. makes all people pay an entrance fee to use its bathrooms and has no flexibility for urgent situations. So, grandparents, you might want to go bowling or something else. read more

My husband and four-year-old son both got pinkeye. Both of their eyes closed shut for two days straight. Infections in there I were so bad that it took a whole month for their eyes to go back to normal. I don't know why people bring their kids to places like this when they know they are sick especially with pinkeye.They do not clean anything in the facility. Everything feels grimy and dirty. We have been there twice. My kids really enjoy it but it can get a little crazy with all the kids that aren't being watched by parents. We had a few incidences with older children not being very nice.one even but his hand around my sons neck but not fault of Billy Beez but the lack of parent supervision. Overall a fun place but a few tweaks could make it better. I do not like the fact that you have to pay for any additional parent and or adults that might join you. Also the toddler area is extra and should really be included . I also wish they had some deals/discounts, better priced party packages .
