Both the dishes were amazing and we will surely stop by here again when in the area. The whole sassy sandwiches section look like a must try. She could only relay what the kitchen told her, that the portion sizes were correct. She asked if I wanted anything else but only in passing on her way to another table. This implied to me that she really didn't care. A manager or supervisor was never even brought to the table, which would have been helpful in addressing the concern more directly. Getting a manager/supervisor is always expected with issues regarding food in a restaurant. For context, a friend at the table ordered a half side salad that appeared to contain noticeably more lettuce than the entrée salad I received. Based on typical expectations, an entrée salad is generally a more substantial portion. Normally 4-6 ounces for an entree salad. I have been in the restaurant business for over 45 years as a manager and owner so I completely understand restaurants have established portion standards and operational considerations.
