Watched and she prepared my latte and then went in back to prepare my breakfast. Ordered one biscuit and gravy and this was my favorite item I tried. Ordered the old faithful breakfast tacos and they were good too. Next time I will ask for no ham and for salsa instead of the "Baja sauce." Super delicious, local restaurant which is perfect for a brunch stop. Their menu consists of a little bit of everything. Their pricing is also very reasonable considering the amount of food you receive. The inside is smaller, but super cute! I got a Mediterranean eske wrap which was super delicious, lots of food packed into one half. My boyfriend got tacos and said they were delicious. He also ordered a Chai which was yummy as well. Food For the Soul is a cozy cafe in a nondescript strip mall location 3 blocks away from Main Street Kalispell...and well worth the walk! The friendly and adorable gal who took care of me was nonstop smiles during my 45 minute visit. The interior wasn't anything to rave about, but they added some fun Christmas decor to make things more festive. $12 Waffle Sandwich was the daily...and it was special, very special, especially in my mouth! I checked this spot out for the first time after hearing a lot of good about their breakfast burritos. I went during lunch and ended up getting a gyro. The food was pretty good, but was kind of a high priced for breakfast/lunch items with no sides. Our waiter was nice and the wait for food wasn't too long. It's worth a check for sure. read more

I stopped in for a quick bite with a friend. We had yet to try this place and wandered inside. Unfortunately, the ambiance is so severely lacking that we chose to get carry out. (Owners, I'm a designer and would LOVE to help you figure out a really pleasing interior design!! Please!) The service was VERY FRIENDLY! (Big points) And the food was ready surprisingly quickly (but not SO quickly that we suspected it was just reheated); freshly cooked food in a speedy fashion. I had some veggie tacos and they were DELIGHTFUL. My friend ordered a sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had an amazing experience here. My fiancée and I love breakfast and specifically breakfast burritos and this place was amazing. The waitress made us laugh with her honesty over her lack of skills making coffee drinks but she did great! Her suggestions on the burrito for me was perfect. It was slower weekday so we almost had the place to ourselves which made it even better. We met the owner/chef and she was the sweetest. Been here twice so far for their breakfast burritos and this is now my go to spot for breakfast burritos. Friendly service. Clean spot (they moved), fair prices and good food. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could give partial stars. Hot and didn't have to wait long. You can also call in orders ahead. I will be back and I have already been recommending to family and friends. My friend and I questioned the overall cleanliness just due to all the stuff sitting around -- a vacuum cleaner, piles of towels, glassware in dishwasher racks, etc. The area behind the cash register appears to be an abandoned coffee bar, dusty and dirty, but who knows? I spent my entire meal mentally organizing this place--not a relaxing experience. I suggest you close the back room to dining and make it a storage room. Take a half-day and get the place cleaned up! I'm totally lame that I haven't reviewed this consistently awesome down to earth practically flawlessly engineered foodie paradise since it was established at least 6 years ago. The vibe and passion here is evident in the service, customers and food. The menu has changed over the years and is quite eclectic which is hard to pull off: Mexican, American, Greek, Italian and more. Definitely not traditional in any sense of the word. I suppose fusion is a better choice...? I haven't ventured past the Mexican because it's got me so hooked. The Carne Asada Tacos are my go to and when I'm trying to cut back on the carbs I get them keto in parmesan cheese taco shells. Yes please! They have the grilled cheese umami thing going on to perfection in a lot of their dishes. Other yummy things to try: Chile Rellenos, Taco Salads and Enchiladas. Get the green sauce. This restaurant came very highly recommended by close friends and family but frankly, I was underwhelmed. I had chicken street tacos. 3 tacos were presented well but had little to no flavor. Lime wedges were plated that helped add a bit of flavor to a mostly lifeless taco. No salsa or pico though they had a wide variety of store bought hot sauces. The menu is mostly comprised of Mexican dishes but if you want Mexican, go to Casa Mexico! One thing that I really enjoyed was the music selection! They had a great playlist from the 80's playing which was very enjoyable. Service was a bit slow but friendly. They mentioned a non-dairy milk shake for my granddaughter but didn't even know what was in it! (Might have been a newbie) The restaurant is in the old Rivals location so look for the Rivals sign if you aren't from the area. It's not much for charm or personality, but it's still pretty nice inside with high tables and booths. Prices were pretty reasonable as Kalispell is getting pretty pricey as restaurants everywhere are having to pay their staff higher wages. Okay. It's in a gas station. So lower your expectations for anything classy. But the food was actually yummy. Very greasy. They have a keto taco that is basically like a pile of fatty ingredients, but it is tasty. The portion sizes were decent. The staff was a little rough around the edges and our food took 40 minutes, which I thought was quite ridiculous for a place that has people trying to get a quick bite to eat. If I'm nearby and want something to eat, I'd definitely go again. I'd also like to mention that, in Montana's huge lack of authentic Mexican food, their tacos were actually pretty great. No beer or alcohol served at this time while waiting for beverage license to be switched over to new ownership. However the casino is under separate ownership and its my understanding you can gamble and consume alcohol in a separate area. They also add a separate fee to your food bill if you pay with credit or debit card with the amount depending on your total. Also no TVs working so unable to watch sports at this time. read more
