Came here for a quick pizza stop and this place was decent. There is a lot of seating and the wait was limited so that was nice. There is also a parking lot in front of the restaurant which is really nice especially in the downtown St. Charles area. I ordered the margarita pizza with a side order of fries and mozzarella sticks. The food was decent and nothing special. I did like the mozzarella sticks but the fries were not crispy and the pizza sauce was too sweet compared to a normal margarita pizza. Also, the ranch here was not the best and a bit too sweet as well. Overall, this is a decent option for pizza but there are definitely other pizza places in the area that might be better. read more

This choice was a last minute decision because our family could not agree on a place for dinner. I had not heard of Billy Brick's before I found it on Yelp today. I was surprised to find it had a sports bar feel, but at 4pm on Friday, it was completely suitable for adults and middle school aged kids. We ordered many dishes to sample and share including nice crispy wings ( prob better w/ Buffalo sauce), soft pretzel bites, and the most amazing Jalapeños Popper Dip known to man. The dip is worth noting for many reasons but most of all bc the jalapeños in it gave it a slightly smokey flavor without the heat (thanks to no seeds). Our entire family loved it. The pretzel bites even made it into the dip instead of the cheese they came with. For entrees the kids had Mac n Cheese, I had the Arugula salad and my husband chose a pizza w/ the New Haven crust option. My salad was light and fresh w/ an ample side of dressing. My daughter said the roll soft on the inside and lightly toasted on the outside. My kids liked the Mac n Cheese (there are a few versions to choose from) and my husband LOVED his pizza. He had to get a 16" pizza bc the New Haven crust option didn't come in the 14" but who has ever been upset about having left over pizza to eat the next day?! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Let me start off by saying I love wood fired pizzas, it is my favorite type of pizza. My brother and I ordered the pizza with Italian beef and hot peppers on it, which was very good. The dough is light and airy just like it should be, the only thing that I didn't love about the pizza was the sauce. I felt it to be to sweet, they must have changed their recipe. We also got an order of wings which were meaty, and crispy. Over all I really enjoyed the food that we ordered. read more

So I'm from New Jersey and very spoiled by our pizza. We were At an event at aquascape at aqualand and they had bricks on wheels. I was completely speechless the pizza was absolutely phenomenal the dough had such Great texture and flavor along with the sauce and mozzarella. This restaurant is awesome! The decorations are perfect for a Cubs fan- a brick wall covered in ivy! We had the Jalapeño Popper Dip to start. It came to the table piping hot and still sizzling and was a-mazing! I ordered the tre carne calzone. It also was yummy & hot. The wings were deliciously spiced with mango habanero. Am long time customer of Lombard, Naperville & Wheaton. Went to the St. Charles location on their third day open. Ordered 4 pizzas & garlic bread to go. 3 of the 4 pizzas were burnt & garlic bread was cold. Emailed them the manager called & was very pleasant. She replaced my order & made it right. Everything was hot fresh & tasty! Thanks Bricks! Pros: Pizza was hot fresh & tasty! Manager handled the situation properly! One of our favorite pizza places for neopolitan pizza! Cons: We don't like the concept. It is a bar with a waitress & full bar. So now your bill is going to be larger. There is no dedicated area for pickup & waiting. We will not be eating inside as a family because we have little kids & it is a bar. So we will visit this restaurant primarily as a to go location. If we want to dine in we will go to Wheaton instead. It is more family friendly & is similar to a Panera ordering style. No waitress, no full bar. This probably the best brick oven pizza I have had. Very tasty sauce and not over cooked like many places. Also had the greek salad which was incredible. Went on a Saturday night and they had a jazz fusion band playing. The band was great but they were too loud for a small place. Would love to see them in a larger venue. read more

Food was good, we ordered a few pizzas (margherita pizza and Donna's pizza), caesar salad, and garlic bread. Seemed like the ingredients were fresh and the cheese was good on the pizzas. The atmosphere was a big turnoff. They had a corner dedicated to "live music" but anyone could go play instruments (drums, electric keyboard, etc.) while the actual band was on break. Not the best idea because we got kids who were just banging on the drums right when we sat down to dine-in. After about 3 minutes of looking at the menus, we decided to take the food to go because we could not stand the noise. Everyone was yelling to just try and have a conversation and the noise was just unbearable. I get wanting to have live music and create a fun atmosphere, but not in a small location like this and especially not just letting anyone play while the band is on break. Moving here from the east coast I was happy to find this place! The pizza along with the service has been great! Tonight we got delivery and the system kept giving us a Genva address! This happens all the time because we are on the line of Geneva. I called the restaurant and the lady couldn't have been more helpful! Found a new spot! 7/10 Neapolitan pizza (not a big fan of Neapolitan anyways) and 9/10 on the New Haven style (not 100% like a modern or sally's but as close as you'll get for the Midwest). Cool staff, extremely accommodating. The one server looked for the white sox game for a good 15 minutes for me (ended up being blacked out, not his fault)! My girlfriend and I came to Billy Bricks for date night, and it was PERFECT! We got 2 pizzas for $20. She got the very veggie and I got the donnas combo. The very veggie was delicious, it was the perfect amount of veggies to cheese to bread ratio. The donnas combs was phenomenal, it had a nice kick to it. Tried Billy Bricks at the Kane County Cougars game and loved it! I went with my family to the restaurant for New Years Eve to use two $25 gift certificates my son received. After the $80 tab came, I was told I could only use one and they would NOT honor the second one although it did not state that ANYWHERE on the gift certificates that expired that day. I tried asking if we could split the tab into two or do anything being that they were not coupons but gift certificates. Also, it didn't say I could only use one per table ANYWHERE and they were expiring. They were not willing to do anything. I hope it was worth losing a customer over $25. Especially being we were the only customers in there at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. read more

I am sorry to have to leave this review but our dinner was terrible. I ordered our takeout tonight at 5:00 and the confirmation said the order would be ready at 5:30. I arrived to pick up our order at 5:20 and it was already ready. I drove straight home (5 minutes) and the pizza and garlic bread was cold, like so cold the cheese was hard. The one pizza was $24. We dined at Billy Bricks recently. The inside was clean and the decor was nice. We ordered the spicy honey wings, bbq wings and meatballs for appetizers. They were all great! However, the pizza was just meh and just average which was disappointing. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and let me tell you I would rate it a 1.5 star out of 5. The chicken that was on the pizza must have been out of a can or frozen. It was not fresh at all. The only get part about the pizza was the dough. I will probably not be back for an entree. Wow!!!! Was this place a surprise in such a good way. I'm gluten intolerant and I have had many different gluten free pizza crusts. This one is by far the best Neapolitan gluten free crust I've EVER had. They make their crust from scratch. Their canoli is pretty on point as well. The sweet ricotta is very cream and delicious. The person that served us went up and beyond and we got to meet the owner who is extremely friendly. They have live entertainment on the weekends so we will definitely be coming back to enjoy live music, comedy and of course the food. read more
