What a cute place! I had been here several times back in the day when it was Neo, but I hadn't been to Gia Mia yet. I came here while I was in town with my friend after we had done some shopping, and her fiance joined us. Everything looked and smelled amazing. I wasn't planning on getting lunch during our excursion so I had already eaten, but I wish I hadn't because the salad and pizza lunch combo looked incredible. I ended up ordering the mercato dei fiori mocktail, which was very good (and very instagrammable lol). The patio seating is great, and I appreciate that they have both a shaded area and large umbrellas to help prevent the sun from baking you while you eat. I definitely want to come back, and next time I'll make sure I don't eat lunch first so that I can take advantage of the lunch special.

Came here for a lunch and was so delighted with food and the service! I tried the eggplant parmigiana and it was done so beautifully! Always love coming here!

Food: Short Rib Gnocchi - the first bite was delicious though immediately clear the gravy was very salty. The meat itself wasn't as salty, and was the Star of the show. The gnocchi were rectangular and were like plush pillows. I was really impressed with the carrots. Wild Mushroom Sacchietti - we had to sub in broccolini instead of the usual spinach. This was delicious though it seemed like it needed meat. Parking: Park in the garage Bathrooms: On one side there was an all gender one-person bathroom. On the other were the Men's/Women's bathrooms (more than one could enter).

Reliably excellent. I've used Gia Mia for catering, for girls' night, and for date night... the food is consistently fresh and fantastic and the service is attentive and efficient. If a mistake is made, Gia Mia WILL make it right. A family favorite.

This restaurant's vibe is pretty chill with cozy lighting, light wood tables & hip leather chairs. The place was clean inside and out. The service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday dinner rush. Our server was friendly, though. We opted to sit outside because there was no wait, although it was a bit chilly at 61°F. While there were overhead heaters, they were all angled inward, so those of us at outward tables didn't feel much warmth. The food we ordered was decent. The calamari was enjoyable, esp with the lemon aioli sauce, tho' it lacked the desired crispiness. The Caesar salad was underwhelming & the carbonara didn't have the robust flavor I was hoping for, with only a few small bacon pieces. The non-dairy pizza was surprisingly good despite the absence of cheese. We may have chosen the wrong dishes to assess the restaurant fairly. I believe it deserves another chance, although perhaps not in the immediate future.

So long overdue, everything on the menu is delicious but today we did takeout and I ordered their lasagna. Like whoa.. this is gonna be good for like three or four meals for me. Basil and sausage and great Italianess all throughout it my kiddos get a Bruno every time. Never fails, the best!

Father's Day without dad was hard, but it was spent at a beautiful outside restaurant. Food was great, could have been more hot when served but very tasty. The drinks were delicious and the service was great! Definitely coming back.

Celebrated my close friend's birthday and got a table in a private area for our party of 9 which was nice. The restaurant is huge with a beautiful patio for outdoor seating as well. The server was fairly unwelcoming as she took our orders, but warmed up to us at the end. I ordered the red sangria and pasta gia. We also shared the calamari appetizer which tasted great with their lemon aioli sauce. The pasta gia was delicious and was a good portion. Overall experience met expectations. The bill was about $40 with tip and tax.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

They have an excellent bar up front and make great cocktails- my husband and dad both love the classic old fashion! I'm a sucker for a nice glass of Pinot Noir. If you're dining in (and you really should!) The pasta bolognese is a must have. Always amazing. And the black pepper shrimp over polenta is an amazing appetizer! So rich and delicious. These are both part of my go-to order here. Recently expanded my order and tried the short rib over polenta for the first time, it was amazing. Tender. Flavorful. Good sized portion. Wonderful. Will absolutely get again. For dessert, and there's always room for dessert here in my opinion, I love to get the rich panna cotta. This past time though we got the butterscotch budino, which was smooth and rich without being overly sweet. It was perfect to share (or not)! Just enough hint of butterscotch and topped with a crumbled shortbread cookie to an add a little crunch to the otherwise creamy treat. The staff is always helpful in making recommendations to suit your tastes too! There is a call ahead wait list and they've also started taking reservations. So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.
