Always a great lunch or dinner spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love grabbing a seat at the upstairs bar when available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually get the Crab and Shrimp broil. They also have excellent Rum Runners. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a fun place to come. Always something going on![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We totally indulged here! It was my sister's 50th and it was the perfect spot. Even though the place is huge, I recommend making reservations. Quality of the food was top-notch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can be a bit loud, but that comes and goes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We even ended the night moving to the dance floor for a couple Santana songs. Great fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food, great service, great old school feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maddie was our server. My wife has been serving for the best coconut shrimp.... She found them.

The crab and shrimp boil was delicious.

This place is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went for an early dinner (5:00) and glad we did because it got very busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great and so were the happy hour specials. The house margarita was very good. We had the crab and shrimp boil. It was so delicious. There was a lot of food and it was all amazing. It was $39 but well worth it. We enjoyed every bite.

    Story of the stone crab!

Our first time here! We came with some friends on a weekend and were able to get right in. There are lots of tables in the restaurant side with a really nice view from the window tables. They also have a bar side to the left of the restaurant entrance. I'm not sure if food is served over there. All the kids ordered chicken tenders and fries and it was pretty standard. My husband and I ordered the Snow crab legs, and our friends ordered the stone crab. He did have questions about the size and they so kindly walked us over some of the claws to show how big they were! So nice. We really enjoyed the food! There's also a little dock you can walk down to rent clear kayaks and go paddling. Really cute!!

We were excited to get the Lobster a la cart 14.99 special. I was not expecting a whole lobster, and it was delicious! Service was pleasant, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is huge with TVs in one areas and the best A/C ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't wait to come back!

    Enjoy the ride!

Love Billy's for the resilience and dedication they have had over the many years! The place for crab legs and a great salad. Not a place for wanna be "foodies" or influencers who want to give shitty reviews to make themselves feel better! Support our locals who invest in our community!

Ask the Community - Billy's Stone Crab

Is the steak any good, frozen?

The steak is actually very good, but I'd definitely recommend the Stone Crab over the steak if you like Seafood.

Can I get in by boat, figure 3 ft draft? Thanks.

Yes depending on tide situation. They have a large dock. Fab food - highly recommend! I go there every single time I am in St Pete. Amazing smoked fish spread and more.…

Snappers was packed at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. However, as it was late July, we were able to get a table outside right away. There are fans to help with the heat, and it's well ventilated so there was a nice breeze. Our server was prompt and friendly. The menu was seafood with an Asian flair. We started with the crab stuffed portobello (probably the weakest part of the meal) and delicious coconut shrimp. After that, our entrees came with salads, which were also great (tortilla chips and a zesty dressing made it more fun than your usual house salad, but it didn't feel too decadent). I got the snapper, which was served over coconut rice and with a delicious curry sauce and mango chutney. The curry reminded me more of thinner Japanese curry versus Indian or Thai, which I loved. The snapper itself was a nicely-sized piece and was cooked/seasoned perfectly with a hint of spice. The coconut sticky rice was so addictive!! The sweetness of the mango chutney just made each bite a wonderful flavor explosion. I would 100% recommend this dish. My husband got the coconut cashew crusted mahi, which was also excellent (and another huge portion of fish). It seems like you can't go wrong here with a fish dish!

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

I enjoyed sitting outside, right by the beach, at a very sunny picnic table with an umbrella for partial shade. Bring your sunscreen as I did and all is well! It was fun to take in the whole slightly chaotic but totally safe family-friendly scene on a holiday morning! Energizing! Parking is a challenge but hey, I like to walk and explore so I had fun with it. Just be aware, some searching for a public or nearby parking spot may be required. Carpooling or ride sharing is recommended if possible. I'm on a strict no-fried-food, no chemicals, no preservatives, no gluten, no sugar, no dairy diet so choices for breakfast were limited as expected. All good. I enjoyed my properly cooked eggs and the lady who took my order was kind and helpful. I should have ordered the fruit bowl as well but I didn't see it on the menu until now. No problem! Next time! My guests also said their paradise omelets were properly cooked and delicious! Our food also was prepared in a very reasonable amount of time considering the crowd which was impressive! Please do not expect eggs Benedict, table cloths and fancy plates. This is a fun place right on the beach with plastic silverware and styrofoam containers. @Peter and Vandana joined for the meal and we laughed, relaxed, ate, chatted, took in the scene, enjoyed the morning and then... Vandana brought out the huge conch shell. I was first to attempt tooting the massive horn but it just wasn't happening. Peter was a bit better than I. Vandana, on the other hand, warned ships well over the horizon that we were here and ready for fun! Kids jumped and clapped their hands. Adults stared in stunned silence. Everyone was deafened. My Apple Watch warned me of dangerous audio conditions that might cause permanent hearing damage if the sound kept up! It was an awesome and skilled display of awesomeness! This was no simple toot. It was a blast! Thank you Vandana! Memorable to say the least! Plus, I can still hear just fine and dandy. Life is a blast with a fun and very memorable meal on the beach! Thanks Paradise Grille!
