Had a great lunch at Park Shore. What a great location in the heart of downtown. Never had a bad meal and always treated well by the entire staff ( hostess, bar, server) Will be back again and again

Park Shore Grill is one of my favorite restaurants on Beach Drive. The food and service are always on point, and this last visit was no exception. I love their large outdoor seating area-it's the biggest on Beach Drive and perfect for dining outside. In the cooler weather they have heat lamps. On this visit, I ordered the fish special, a triple-finned grouper. It was cooked perfectly-white, flaky and incredibly fresh-and served over a creamy risotto with a pesto sauce that really hit the spot. We started with blue cheese-stuffed meatballs, which are always a winner. My husband ordered the beef Wellington, something he always gets when we come here, and the presentation was outstanding! We also somehow ended up with an order of bread, which turned out to be the perfect vehicle for mopping up every last bit of the delicious sauce from the meatballs. One of friends ordered the tomahawk pork chop, and his wife chose the seafood mixed grill-both were home runs. Everything was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly, which just reinforces why Park Shore Grill remains one of our favorite spots on Beach Drive.

Outstanding in every way. The halibut was delicious. Light, flaky with a scrumptious crust. Service was excellent too.

My husband and I had dinner at Parkshore Grill and overall, it was just okay. The ambiance was nice, and the service started off fine but became spotty as the night went on. We shared the burrata appetizer, which was good, and both ordered steaks--mine was the filet and his was the ribeye. Unfortunately, my filet lacked flavor, and his ribeye was overly fatty. My salad arrived without any dressing, and it took a while to flag down our server to ask for it. At one point, our server disappeared completely, and I was left without water and ended up drinking my husband's. It wasn't a terrible experience, but with so many dining options around, we're not likely to return.

I have to update my review since we came back again. This time we started with 3 appetizers for the 4 of us. The chicken croquettes were good but extremely salty. The calamari was good and the barata was good as well. Our server was helpful and attentive. My entree was the lobster pasta, which after eating all the appetizers, I didn't even need. All 4 of our meals arrived and looked wonderful. All 4 of us commented that our meals were barely warm. Disappointing!!!! Our server offered us dessert as an I'm sorry. My pasta was good but would have been so much better had it at least been warm and hot would have been divine.

It's all about the Beef Wellington. Start with a wedge salad. Blue cheese is bomb. Sourdough bread, mash potatoes, and brussels for sides. Bring your parents when they are visiting from out of town. You will be their favorite child. Walk it off at the pier after dinner.

Had to be in St Petersburg, Fl for meetings and a friend recommended this restaurant in a very pretty bay front area of St Pete. They had a very nice setup of café tables outside. We made reservations so we were seated pretty quickly inside. Our table was in a quiet spot with dimmed lights. Nice date night for hubby & me. For our meal we selected: Grilled 8 oz Filet Mignon with au poivre sauce Seafood Mixed Grill Drinks were: Napa Cellars Chardonnay & Old Fashion cocktail Food was delicious. Dessert selection was not exciting though. Overall this is a nice place for any meal in a scenic location. I will return!

Amazing location, quality food, lots of choices and pro service. It's beautiful inside but the patio is the cheat code

We went there on the fly as we were strolling down the road. It was so so good. Our waiter Reese took great care of us. I had the fish of the day which was halibut with a lovely lemon caper sauce, red mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had it blackened. Hubby had the lobster tails and scallops. We started with the artisan bread and a crab and oyster cake .. also amazing. Finished off celebrating with a house made chocolate cake and because we were celebrating a big honor for hubby the waiter brought it out with a candle and a scratch off card. So special. Oh hubby also enjoyed a mocktail.... Grapefruit something... sorry don't remeber the name. We simply asked for the one that was the sweetest.

I have been to Parkshore several times now, and I have to say it has not once disappointed. It's in a fantastic location right in downtown St. Pete very close to the pier. Great area to walk around and then come for an equally great meal. Inside the restaurant is pretty upscale and much nicer than you'd expect from the outside. Honestly, between the name and the look from outside this is never a place that would catch my eye, but I'm glad that I decided to try it one fateful day. Everything I've tried has been so high quality. In my most recent visit I got salmon pasta, and the salmon was cooked to perfection, it was marvelous. The service is good and everyone is friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. You can make reservations, which is probably recommended for when they get busy. And inside their bar area is pretty cool too. Again, so unexpected from just a glance at the outside, but don't be fooled by this book cover, because the inside is certainly more than meets the eye!

    Shrimp Pasta .. Beyond Amazing!

I was visiting St. Pete's for 4 days . I took a chance eating at Parkshore Grill. I loved my meal so much that I came back a second time . The wait staff was attentive and wonderful. My favorite dish was Shrimp pasta.... DELICIOUS! I would have given five stars but the hosts were not friendly or welcoming at all . Both visits I was greeted with a blank stare , no smile ... nothing. It was quite uncomfortable. Regardless I came back because I'm there to eat and the food was fantastic!

    Marinated Creekstone Farms Skirt Steak
    Brennan S.

Parkshore Grill never misses! I got the Marinated Creekstone Farms Skirt Steak and wow, it's flavorful excellence! The Chimichurri pairs perfectly with the tender steak, which is accentuated by delicious leek butter, and the hand-cut parmesan fries are crispy-crunchy perfection. The service is always amazing and the ambiance is relaxing. I love dining outside because you get insular views of Beach Drive, which is one of my favorite spots in Downtown St. Pete.

We started with the crispy pork belly, which looked a little on the drier side when it arrived but don't let that fool you, the brown sugar bourbon glaze it was dressed in was delicious. Really enjoyed it as a starter. The tavern burger came highly recommended as one of their best dishes, and while it was a good burger, it didn't quite blow us away. Surprisingly mild on flavor despite the toppings, and it's a BIG boy... which I know some people love, but I tend to prefer a smash burger so I'll take partial responsibility for that note! The fries, however, were excellent... textured, crispy, exactly how fries should be. The real standout of the visit was the chilaquiles (the chef's brunch special). It ran a little dry, but the flavors more than made up for it. The combination of crunchy tortilla chips, smoky sauce, pickled onions, egg, avocado, and cilantro all together was just so good... my boyfriend was equally obsessed. Would absolutely order again. Service was great and overall had a really enjoyable visit... Stillwaters continues to deliver a solid experience and I'll keep coming back!

**A Disappointing Anniversary Dinner at Elliot Aster, Not the Michelin Level Experience We…read moreExpected** We visited Elliot Aster at The Vinoy last night to celebrate our anniversary, and while a few thoughtful touches stood out, the overall experience fell well short of what a restaurant with Michelin aspirations, and a $300 price tag, should deliver. I want to preface this by saying we are easygoing, forgiving people who rarely complain, so it takes a lot for us to leave a review like this. I was especially excited going in after reading the chef's bio, which references Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. I dined there back in the late 90s, and it remains one of the best meals of my life, right up there with dinner at Alain Ducasse in NYC. That pedigree set my expectations high, though not unrealistic ones. Unfortunately, the execution at Elliot Aster did not come close to living up to that lineage. **The good:** The team acknowledged our anniversary with a card at the table and a glass of champagne with dessert. The filet was cooked perfectly, the gnocchi was well done, and dessert was excellent. **The not so good:** Nearly everything else. Getting to the restaurant itself was confusing. There was no valet greeting, no doorman, and no signage in the lobby pointing us to Elliot Aster, so we had to ask the front desk for directions. Once seated, service was disorganized from start to finish. We ordered cocktails while waiting for our table, and they took 45 minutes to arrive, after multiple follow ups and having to close out a bar tab before the drinks even showed up. My martini arrived nothing like the version advertised (one plain olive instead of the three blue cheese stuffed olives pictured on their own Instagram). Later, at the bar, a port and a beer sat forgotten for 20+ minutes before our server realized he had never brought them over. Our entrees also arrived before we had finished our cocktails, which felt rushed rather than paced for a fine dining experience. The octopus starter was well seared but the flavor combination felt scattered, and the truffle sauce on my filet had almost no truffle flavor, especially disappointing given the chef's pedigree. One small but telling detail: the decorative olive trees hanging over our table were visibly dusty, which was distracting and not something you want to notice at a white tablecloth dinner. No server mentioned a signature dish, made a recommendation, or referenced a sommelier. We never saw one on the floor. I also want to mention the dress code, or lack thereof. We understand we are in Florida, and a laid back approach makes sense here. But asking guests not to wear shorts or t-shirts does not seem unreasonable for a restaurant at this level. Gym clothes, which we saw on more than one guest, is simply not acceptable at this tier of dining. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand things go wrong, but this was a long list of avoidable missteps, not one off bad luck. Given the chef's background and the promise it suggested, this was a real letdown. The bar itself is gorgeous, and we had genuinely hoped this would become a regular spot for us, especially given the lounge menu. We were hoping for something reminiscent of La Belle Vie in Minneapolis, a place that held a special spot in our hearts. Unfortunately, based on this visit, we cannot recommend Elliot Aster or The Vinoy.

Our go-to dishes -- the rigatoni and the pork chop -- were exceptional. Perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and served at exactly the right temperature. Every plate that passed our table looked just as impressive. The service team was calm, attentive, and polished all night long. Despite a full dining room, they never appeared overwhelmed.
