My wife and I came in on June 6th for our 41st anniversary. We got in around 7 pm and had a cocktail in the bar and then moved to our table at 7:30. We had oysters as an app and they were super small and not good. For dinner I had the Beef Wellington which was fantastic and my wife had the lobster pasta (soup). The pasta had like double what would be a sauce which literally was like a big bowl of soup. As good as our server was he never came by and asked how everything was. Whoever brought it out should have realized it was a misfire. He finally came around and asked how everything was and I said the pasta was soupy...his response, would you like a box for it to go? The table next to us was served the lobster pasta with what looked like the right amount of liquid so we know we got screwed. Won't ever come back and I still don't understand why I tipped 30%. read more

Delicious food! Not so much on the attentive service, but it was a lovely meal outside. There was a musician (trumpet/voice) a couple of doors down on the sidewalk. It really added to the dining experience despite it not being at this restaurant (hint hint Parkshore) We had a delightful appetizer (surf and turf) I had the grilled mahi mahi sandwich and my husband had the ribeye sandwich. I swapped mashed potatoes for the fries and it was a really great decision. They're delicious. We are here at about 4:00pm on a Sunday. Busy but not overwhelming crowd. The restaurant is across from the Museum of Fine Arts. If the weather is nice, take a seat outside. The people watching and ambiance is 10/10 read more

Park Shore Grill is one of my favorite restaurants on Beach Drive. The food and service are always on point, and this last visit was no exception. I love their large outdoor seating area-it's the biggest on Beach Drive and perfect for dining outside. In the cooler weather they have heat lamps. On this visit, I ordered the fish special, a triple-finned grouper. It was cooked perfectly-white, flaky and incredibly fresh-and served over a creamy risotto with a pesto sauce that really hit the spot. We started with blue cheese-stuffed meatballs, which are always a winner. My husband ordered the beef Wellington, something he always gets when we come here, and the presentation was outstanding! We also somehow ended up with an order of bread, which turned out to be the perfect vehicle for mopping up every last bit of the delicious sauce from the meatballs. One of friends ordered the tomahawk pork chop, and his wife chose the seafood mixed grill-both were home runs. Everything was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly, which just reinforces why Park Shore Grill remains one of our favorite spots on Beach Drive. read more

My husband and I had dinner at Parkshore Grill and overall, it was just okay. The ambiance was nice, and the service started off fine but became spotty as the night went on. We shared the burrata appetizer, which was good, and both ordered steaks--mine was the filet and his was the ribeye. Unfortunately, my filet lacked flavor, and his ribeye was overly fatty. My salad arrived without any dressing, and it took a while to flag down our server to ask for it. At one point, our server disappeared completely, and I was left without water and ended up drinking my husband's. I have to update my review since we came back again. This time we started with 3 appetizers for the 4 of us. The chicken croquettes were good but extremely salty. The calamari was good and the barata was good as well. Our server was helpful and attentive. My entree was the lobster pasta, which after eating all the appetizers, I didn't even need. All 4 of our meals arrived and looked wonderful. All 4 of us commented that our meals were barely warm. Disappointing!!!! Our server offered us dessert as an I'm sorry. Wonderful food and drink. Bread is $6, but it's so worth it. My kids devoured it so we ended up getting two. For my main, I got the jumbo lump blue crab and avocado salad. I usually don't order a main because I eat what the kids don't eat, but this is light enough that I would definitely order it again. It has a good amount of crab and is delicious. My husband got the skirt steak with the fries and said it was fantastic. One of his favorite steaks so he'd absolutely get it again. My dad got the lobster pasta, which is always a winner. It's so creamy and decadent. They do have a kids menu, one kid got the grilled chicken sandwich and fries and the other got the mac and cheese. They were both so/so on their meals so I be they'd try something else. I got the parkshore to drink with is zyr vodka and blue cheese stuffed olives. Wow do I think it was pure vodka. I was one and done. If I don't drink anything before this, this will pack a punch and be my one drink, otherwise I should try another one of their drinks. Their cocktail menu is very tantalizing. We came from the playground so I was in a tank top and pants. People do dress a little nicer here. I didn't realize how underdressed I was until I sent a picture to a friend and he pointed out I was wearing a tank top to a steakhouse (it was vuori, but point made). I feel very lucky that there are few places in Tampa where I feel underdressed, but this one may be one of them in the future. Service was great, the staff was super friendly. We went there on the fly as we were strolling down the road. It was so so good. Our waiter Reese took great care of us. I had the fish of the day which was halibut with a lovely lemon caper sauce, red mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had it blackened. Hubby had the lobster tails and scallops. I got the fried chicken sandwich which was excellent - the chicken was succulent- and the fries were really good. My friend got the snapper and said it was excellent. I have been to Parkshore several times now, and I have to say it has not once disappointed. It's in a fantastic location right in downtown St. Pete very close to the pier. Great area to walk around and then come for an equally great meal. Inside the restaurant is pretty upscale and much nicer than you'd expect from the outside. Honestly, between the name and the look from outside this is never a place that would catch my eye, but I'm glad that I decided to try it one fateful day. Everything I've tried has been so high quality. In my most recent visit I got salmon pasta, and the salmon was cooked to perfection, it was marvelous. The service is good and everyone is friendly, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. You can make reservations, which is probably recommended for when they get busy. And inside their bar area is pretty cool too. Again, so unexpected from just a glance at the outside, but don't be fooled by this book cover, because the inside is certainly more than meets the eye! read more

Parkshore Grill never misses! I got the Marinated Creekstone Farms Skirt Steak and wow, it's flavorful excellence! The Chimichurri pairs perfectly with the tender steak, which is accentuated by delicious leek butter, and the hand-cut parmesan fries are crispy-crunchy perfection. The service is always amazing and the ambiance is relaxing. I love dining outside because you get insular views of Beach Drive, which is one of my favorite spots in Downtown St. Pete. read more

To top it off, they charged us an astonishing $58 for 2 drinks. We did not ask for premium liquor but we're given $29 shots anyway. The waiter was hostile and came back to embarrass me by showing me the menu. And of course the waiter added his 20% tip. We go to a lot of restaurants and bars in downtown St. Pete, so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Our server, Ella, was wonderful. She was attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant, and we really appreciated her service. The food, however, did not meet our expectations. The Caesar salad was very basic and bland, with nothing special or memorable about it. Everything is ordered à la carte, and the baked potato was surprisingly small. We shared the 16 ounce ribeye, which lacked flavor and was gristly. It was not what we expected for a steak of that quality and price. The ambience was nice, and we did enjoy the atmosphere. We wanted a nicer restaurant and were thrown off by the casual outdoor patio, but when we walked in we knew we chose the right spot. I ordered a dirty martini (not the similar one on the menu), it was perfect, just the way I like it and with blue cheese olives. for appetizers we got oysters and calamari. The oysters were so good- I got two and wished I got more! The calamari was also good, I appreciate the entire mini calamari more than the ringlets so im glad they had both! For dinner I got the crab and grouper cake and a small wedge salad. I have never had a crab and grouper cake and my life has been changed. Crab cakes are one of my favorite foods so I wasn't sure how this would go. It was perfectly crispy, perfectly loose with the lump crab and grouper, and topped with a delicious sauce. The capers make this on the salty side, which I prefer but if you dont like or cant have much salt this might be a tough dish. Our waitress asked if I wanted my wedge salad pre chopped (why have I never asked anyone to chop it for me) and that was a small but amazing suggestion. Everything was great. If you are staying near Beach Blvd in St Pete's Art district, this is a great spot for lunch or dinner. My wife and I walked past this massive lobster tail and filet mignon surf and turf dish was being served outdoors and the smells were incredible so we decided to return just before the end of their late lunch menu deals at 6:00 PM! Our appetites weren't huge that day, so we had mahi-mahi sandwich, buttermilk-brined fried chicken sandwich with the most delectable Parmesan French fries you will ever taste: absolute perfection that can rarely be matched on our planet! We had live music by an incredible violinist who layered his neoclassical music with skillful use of a looper pedal and provided a fantastic Street side ambience, directly across the street from Banyan trees, and great people watching. I can't recommend this place enough, we had fantastic and romantic meal, the wine and drink list are amazing, and the server staff super friendly. Parkshore is usually pretty consistent with a few off times. We had terrible service once but it's usually great and food is always really good except this past time I got the snapper special. It was very salty and overcooked. It also only came with a very small side of rice. I tried my friends grouper which was also overcooked. There are a lot of other places for the same price or less that I can get a great piece of fish. I got 1 drink and the snapper. $62 without the tip. I'm sure I'd give 5 stars normally but a slight hiccup prevented that on this initial visit. Drinks and appetizers were on point. The iced seafood bowl was outstanding and fresh, perfect for two to share. The filet and lobster tail signature dish was perfectly executed and I shall remember it for quite some time. Not sure you could get me to order anything else when I come back. The prime meatloaf was visually stunning, unfortunately it was ice cold in the center. By the time they re-fired one, her appetite was lost and I was about done. So the dining experience suffered. We shared amongst the three of us the following: 8 oz filet, 2 lobster tails, a pound of Alaskan king crab, sharp cheddar Mac & cheese, asparagus & scalloped potatoes. We ordered a half pound of crab but were unintentionally given a whole pound without us knowing (don't eat it too often) but we cleared the plate anyway so didn't complain, just something to take note of to clarify with the server the amount you order. Everything was phenomenal except for the scalloped potatoes. The blue cheese in them is extremely overpowering, even for those who like it. I'd not recommend unless they take it down lots of notches. The Mac and cheese on the other hand was amazing! Wish we got two of those instead. Asparagus was cooked amazing & served with a delicious sauce. My filet was cooked perfect as well as the lobster & crab. We each got a drink and bill came out to about $135 a person split evenly. Parking is a bit difficult too but if you call them and ask for the options they will give you a couple. Overall nice place with great service, our server Kat was amazing from start to finish. For a nicer looking restaurant I did see a couple people under dressed which I thought was odd but they may be more relax on dress code there. read more

Just OK. I have been here twice. The first time was a New Years Eve Price-fixed dinner--and it was a dreadful affair. Basic options, food portions were minuscule and we were extremely rushed. More interested in turning the table than providing a dining experience. They even asked if we wanted our champagne toast as they tried to kick us out the door. "Ah, I paid for it didn't I?" $400 and we went and got pizza afterwards because we were starving. Totally forgetting that this was the place, I booked it a few years later for Mother's Day. It was better, but still just OK. The place has a great view, the service was fine, but the menu is unimaginative and predictable. We ordered the beef carpaccio which was served without bread, or a crostini, nothing. Bread is not required with Carpaccio but I have never once been served a carpaccio without it. But no worries--for an additional $6 they brought us some bread. Dinner was fine. I had the Wellington. The dessert list however, was so basic and boring that there was absolutely nothing of interest. With 1000's of restaurants in St Pete I will make this my last outing here. There is no excuse for it not to be awesome. I feel that they rest on their laurels because of their location, but a nice location is not enough for me. read more

Last evening we went to dinner there and I wanted to recognize and compliment a server that we had the pleasure of having for the first time. Her name was Jessica. She fulfilled every quality a high end restaurant would want to have in her service and knowledge. I am a sommelier and her service for our bottle of wine was done appropriately and to perfection. The food is always good but Jessica's professionalism, personality and attention to detail made our dinner experience exceptional! From the live music (by Charity Jones), that draws you in, to the warm welcome and excellent service, this is the spot to be.
