Here is what we noticed: - Our reservation was at 5:30, the time they open, and a bunch of people arrived all at once, but they quickly seated us all - They only serve beer and wine, but their wine list was really good and bottle prices were very reasonable for a restaurant. - Our server came over pretty quickly despite so many people arriving at once. - The menu is pretty broad with lots of different options, and there were many other specials as well. - My wife and I ordered the rack of lamb and the fettuccine with shrimp with added scallops. Both dishes came with complementary soup first. It's difficult to say which dish we liked more since both were excellent. The bread and hummus on the table was a welcome addition, and was especially good for sopping up the wonderful sauce from each dish. - We got tempted by dessert and opted for the bread pudding with a side of homemade ice cream. Wow wow wow is all I can say! - Service was great...There were three people working the entire place so service was attentive, but not overbearing. Bottom line: I almost don't want to rave too much because I don't want the place to get too crowded, but it's better than any place around that we've been to. We'll be back for sure!

Despite this clear verbal warning, the kitchen served a dish that contained peanut butter. This severe failure by the waiter and kitchen staff resulted in severe and life-threatening anaphylaxis. Expect warm hospitality and welcoming environment. If you're looking for thoughtful food prepared by people who care about what they do, Fumo is the place. The menu offers a vibrant selection of cuisine executed with passion and skill. We ate here twice during our stay and frankly we wish we had all of our meals at Fumo while lakeside. The steak and eggs were executed perfectly. The lobster roll was classic and gorgeous. The shrimp tacos were so good we ordered a second plate. Point being, when you are vacationing in Incline Village Fumo is your best choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I ordered the night for one special or something similar. Came with crab cake appetizer (1 crab cake) Chilean sea bass ( with quinoa and broccolini) and crème brûlée. The quinoa had no seasoning and was very dry. Had to douse with lemon to make edible. The broccolini was decent again with lemon and the bass was fine.. nothing special. For 60$ I was hoping for more flavor overall. Daughter got the clam chowder. Which was really good. Wife and son got pasta. Wife got the shrimp pasta son got the butter and noodles. We ended up mixing the 2 together and was decent. Dessert we got the strawberry butter cake, crème brûlée (came with my meal), and lava cake. Dessert was definitely the highlight of the meal. Definitely recommend the butter cake! For a 200$ dinner overall was disappointed. Service was fine. Ambiance was nice- decor was nicely done. Just don't think the food was worth the price personally.

We met some longtime friends for dinner last night and it was relaxing and tasty! We started off with some robust drinks and apps! Ahi Napolean was the highlight with the BBQ/Spicy prawns coming in a close second. Three of us ordered the Lemongrass Ginger Brick Chicken and it was tender and juicy with just the right amount of Asian spices. We all raved YUMMY!! My wife had the Rack of Lamb which she enjoyed and I got to sneak a couple of bites...tender tasty. My friend's son had the Grilled Ribeye which was massive and oozing with juice. The Finale! Dessert is never an option with my Sicilian taste buds so Tiramisu and Pistachio Cheese Cake sedated and cleansed our palates! The overall dining experience was good as we sat outside on the patio with a perfect evening and no bugs in site! It was fairly busy and the servers were definitely having to add a couple of steps in their service. It's a beautiful spot almost on the lake and if you're a golfer, Old Brockway GC is a stunner and has some great history to go along with the perfect greens. Enjoy!

We started with the sage and cheddar biscuits, which were wonderful, and the glazed pork belly with chili crunch with toasted cashews - the combo of the nuts and pork was really delicious. We then had the Niman Ranch pork chop and grilled steak frites. Pork chop came with creamy polenta, mushrooms, and a blueberry glaze - I'm hungry just writing about all this. The chop was grilled to perfection - moist (no pink meat) and nicely charred for the flavor. The glaze is a hint of sweetness and the creamy polenta is a winner. The mushrooms are an excellent compliment. The grilled steak was also cooked to perfection - medium rare. The flat iron steak is such a great cut of meat. The fries in duck fat were very good. For dessert, we had a chocolate masterpiece. The meal was well priced considering the location and the time of year. And while the meal was special, it was the service that really made the experience special. While being utterly professional, the staff is also friendly and on top of it. I regret I didn't ask the hostess her name, but she was excellent - filled our water glasses without being asked once, and asked if we would like clean utensils after our appetizers. Our server was also excellent. I'd have more pictures usually, but we were so hungry after a LONG day at Sand Harbor, we forgot!

I tried this place because i saw pictures of fish tacos on previous reviews. Much to my dismay,…read morethey were not on the menu and when i asked about them i was told that those were just a "seasonal" offering last year. Hmmm, isn't peak tourist season in tahoe the right time to have your seasonal offerings? Oh well i looked for something else. Honestly the menu is pretty scant for lunch. Only three sandwiches and one was a hamburger. I finally settled on the ahi poke tacos. I have had lots of poke in hawaii so i was skeptical being in tahoe but i must say they were good. Not great but i would order them again. The place has a hawaiian flair in the menu so i was hoping for maybe a katsu dish or more fresh fish options. I think fish tacos would be a slam dunk there but that's just me. The ambience is nice and i sat in the shade on the patio on one of the hottest days of the year and it was still quite pleasant. Parking is readily available (that's important in tahoe in the summer) and service was on point. It was a little pricey for lunch, being over $32 after tax and tip for tacos and a soda. They also charge 3% service charge for using a credit card which i did not see posted on any signs or menus. Disappointing to find hidden charges after the meal. Overall i would rate this 3.5 stars but half stars are not available.
