We've been hearing about how good The Soule Domain was for sometime and had never visited, so we…read morefinally made a reservation. Boy, are we glad we did! Here is what we noticed: - Our reservation was at 5:30, the time they open, and a bunch of people arrived all at once, but they quickly seated us all - They only serve beer and wine, but their wine list was really good and bottle prices were very reasonable for a restaurant. - Our server came over pretty quickly despite so many people arriving at once. - The menu is pretty broad with lots of different options, and there were many other specials as well. - My wife and I ordered the rack of lamb and the fettuccine with shrimp with added scallops. Both dishes came with complementary soup first. It's difficult to say which dish we liked more since both were excellent. The bread and hummus on the table was a welcome addition, and was especially good for sopping up the wonderful sauce from each dish. - We got tempted by dessert and opted for the bread pudding with a side of homemade ice cream. Wow wow wow is all I can say! - Service was great...There were three people working the entire place so service was attentive, but not overbearing. Bottom line: I almost don't want to rave too much because I don't want the place to get too crowded, but it's better than any place around that we've been to. We'll be back for sure!

Cocktails were delicious, our favorite food items were the pork belly, which was complimented nicely with purple slaw, the chicken thighs, with a sauce and balsamic glaze you could put on anything, and the braised short rib, that could've been more fall apart, but still fantastic flavor and the potato puree was the perfect side. I also wanted to give a special shoutout to our waiter, Andres, who made this night extra special. Not only was it my girlfriend's birthday, but this was the night I asked her to officially be my girlfriend (she said yes!) with the help of Andres and the rest of the staff, it was the perfect evening and I can't thank them enough.

I loved the yacht rock music. But it may have been a little loud for my Dad and stepmom. They both ordered the duck pasta. My dad wanted more duck. They also split the beet salad. I had the vegan saute- which was delicious. We all split two orders of the sage cheddar biscuits. A day later my mouth is still watering thinking about that. I can't remember the name of the mocktail- fruit juices and a ginger beer. It was also quite delightful.

We met some longtime friends for dinner last night and it was relaxing and tasty! We started off with some robust drinks and apps! Ahi Napolean was the highlight with the BBQ/Spicy prawns coming in a close second. Three of us ordered the Lemongrass Ginger Brick Chicken and it was tender and juicy with just the right amount of Asian spices. We all raved YUMMY!! My wife had the Rack of Lamb which she enjoyed and I got to sneak a couple of bites...tender tasty. My friend's son had the Grilled Ribeye which was massive and oozing with juice. The Finale! Dessert is never an option with my Sicilian taste buds so Tiramisu and Pistachio Cheese Cake sedated and cleansed our palates! The overall dining experience was good as we sat outside on the patio with a perfect evening and no bugs in site! It was fairly busy and the servers were definitely having to add a couple of steps in their service. It's a beautiful spot almost on the lake and if you're a golfer, Old Brockway GC is a stunner and has some great history to go along with the perfect greens. Enjoy!

Um, what? $4.50 for a can of coke? No thanks. I figured since they had a full bar that they would have fountain soda. Lesson learned. Burger was decently cooked and fries were tasty but has a short window of warmth/freshness. The Mexican Benedict was yummy and served with cubed potatoes. Good sized portions and friendly service.

The casino is very small and feels quite dated compared to many other gaming properties in the area. During my visit, I spent a considerable amount of time and money playing, but never really found the experience entertaining or enjoyable. While I understand that gambling outcomes are never guaranteed, the overall experience lacked the excitement and fun that typically keeps me engaged. The property itself also felt dirty and dingy in several areas, which took away from the atmosphere. In addition, I never encountered any hosts or beverage service during my visit, making the casino feel understaffed and lacking in customer service. Overall, this wasn't a casino I enjoyed spending time in, and it's not one I would recommend to friends or fellow gamblers. There are simply better gaming options in the Tahoe area. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning.

After ordering Don Julio Reposado, she poured the wrong shots and responded by saying "avocado" in a sarcastic tone when we corrected her instead of SIMPLY fixing the mistake. She then left us alone and started attending other customers and mocked us again by saying "un momento" in a disrespectful way as she is walking away. Things escalated quickly for no reason--she took our beer, accused us of "refusing to leave" without ever asking us to leave, and threatened to get me arrested! This behavior felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional. No one should be treated this way. I would not recommend this place!! Especially for people of color!

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. All in all, it was a fantastic meal and easy to see why this place is such a favorite among both locals and tourists. The food, the drinks, and the service all come together to make this a great option for any occasion from a casual night out (us) to celebrating something memorable like a graduation (several were happening while we were there).

We were going to make a reservation but a credit card was required - that felt excessive for a reservation on a Wednesday night so we risked it and just showed up. We were early (5:30) so we got seated right away. We got a variety of appetizers after my mocktails (very gingery, yum!). The ribs had a great sauce but were overcooked a bit. The burrata was nice but crostini was so hard I thought it might tear up my mouth. Gnuddi was tasty but very oily. Great ambience and perfect for a wine drinker - extensive list. We would bring family or friends there for a night classy night out, but it wasn't overwhelmingly amazing to us.

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. We found a lot of street parking a few minutes away and walked over, also took a walk on the lake beach right behind it which was super pretty

My boyfriend loved his California chicken sandwich with those perfectly crispy, hot fries. Skipped the beer to save room for dessert--rich, indulgent, but perfectly balanced. Total winner! But Julia, our server, was by far the most impressive part of our experience. Aside from her excellent attitude, she was very familiar with the menu, never missed the chance to try and subtly make the upsell and was very organized in the way she both took and delivered our order. My son received his soda from another employee before Julia had even finished taking our drink order, and I saw Julia running hauling ice and doing other things outside the normal server duties, which gave the impression that everyone on the team is looking out for each other. And I'm not entirely sure it had anything to do with me, but after a few minutes of turning behind me to watch the one screen showing the Stanley Cup game, another screen changed to it that was easier for me to see. This place is just what it needs to be, and it does a good job at it. PS- I told Julia, but you guys really should consider making a poutine style version of your slider dish. They choose the cheese melted over the fries and meat, and they can pour the jus over the fries. Just a suggestion.
