Stopped here after traveling from Carson City and decided to give this establishment a try. It's definitely one of your hole in the wall burger joints with potential. Staff were warm and welcoming and the prices were about average for what you'd pay for a burger and fries these days. The food though? Ehh, I order the mexi burger which came with a single patty, single cheese and a green chile (I added bacon). I also ordered a side of onion rings. I honestly thought the burger had potential but the one thing that disappointed me was how dry the hamburger patty was and it lacked flavor. Onion rings were "onion rings" but I will say that I did love the ranch.

This is one of these hole in the wall burger joints. This place had been around forever and we came in with minimal expectations as daughter really wanted a burger . We got the cheeseburger that was ok . Nothing too fancy , pretty basic . A tad better than in-and-out

We have eaten here several times over the past year and I was looking forward to a great burger, but left feeling disappointed. Not sure when it happened, but they seem to have replaced the patties with a Sysco-based option as it was small, and tasteless, even with a mound of mushrooms and cheese on top. The redeeming part of the meal was the onion rings, they were delicious. I just wish the burger was better. I hope this was just a bad turn, but we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

My family and I were at the lake for the day with friends on the west side. We stopped in Kingsbeach to grab a bite on the way home. Kids wanted burgers and Jason's grill was on an hour and a half wait. Char-pit it was. Cheeseburgers all around 1/4 and I've been on a low carb meals so no buns for mom. Prices were fair given we were on N. Lake. It was delicious and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We dined outdoors and love their old school diner feel. We walked down the way to grab gelato and ice cream for dessert.

Fantastic burgers. Their bacon is crispy through and through which I appreciate in a bacon cheeseburger. Their ranch is tasty and their onion rings are battered! So good. Thank you. Great experience small town getaway ambiance for sure.

I used take my kids here in the summertime when we go to Kings Beach. It's been a few years since eating here. I was driving home through Kings Beach and decided to stop. What I ordered: Double cheeseburger Large fry The place has changed a bit since the last time we were here . The char-pit is no longer there. You used to be able to see the pit and the hamburgers as they were getting charbroiled. The burger was a good burger. But it was not the char broiled burger from the past. The price however was exorbitant. $20 for a double burger and fries. That would've been fine if it had the char grill, smoky flavored that I was looking for. Also, the fries were different. They were hard and dehydrated. Not sure if overcooked or just sitting in the heat lamp far too long. I probably only ate five of the fries. It was Friday night at 6 PM. The place Was dead the whole time I was there, only one other person came in. Price and quality might have something to do with that...

A small, unique hole in the wall spot for pretty much anything fried, burgers, and soft serve. The burgers were really good. Whenever we drive by, it's always packed. They have a nice patio with a handful of picnic tables. Inside seating is minimal. Pretty reasonable prices as well! Giving it 4 stars because on the double cheese burger one of the patties was well done, compared to the other having lots of pink. Still edible though! The fries could have been better too.

Walked around found this place was open and had outdoor seating so we ate with the dogs despite the chill in the air. While waiting we saw two bears walking across the street ! Wanted to the family rib meal but guy said not available so ordered a full rack of ribs that came with Cole slaw and lots of fries for $34. There were no bones. The fatty parts were juicer and more tender and covered in sweet bbq sauce that had a little bit of heat. We ate it all because afraid to walk back with leftovers since bears might still be around. Would like to come back and try a burger since that was what most people were ordering. The paper menu didn't have prices on it not sure why.

I give this place 4 stars . The burgers were good snd definitely charbroild but the only thi g is the buns were only toasted on the inside. We got fries which were shoe string style, very crispy and perfect salt ratio. We had onion rings and I love my onion rings, they were airy crispy so tasty I really enjoyed the onion rings. Service was great, very small place about 3 tables inside 2 seaters and 1 table with 4 seats there are additional tables outside which is best for the views anyway. And lovely little birds dancing on the fence, singing their hearts out for crumbs. It was a lovely sight. We ride our e-bike and had a table outside, we were sitting inside but boy oh boy it got hot real fast . Do not sit inside get a table they have two little tables on the right side of the entrance. And again tables around the building. I recommend. I will try their other items like corn dog and chicken fries.

What are the operating hours? I drove there today and it was closed. It's almost an hour away from me but didn't care; it's totally worth it. But gas is kinda expensive $5.08 per gallon 😩

    Do they allow dogs outside?

    Yes

Do you do lettuce wraps instead of buns?

I do a bed of lettuce, but not a wrap

Is their veggie burger vegan (without the cheese and sour cream)?

Yes if you take the cheese and sour cream off. Another is the Portabella mushroom sandwich. If you take of the cheese and sour cream. There is honey in the chipotle sauce. If your ok with that

It's located in a little shopping center with not much parking but we were able to get a spot pretty quickly. The outside had a cute little sitting area with a few tables but it was too cold for that haha. Inside is small-ish with about 4 tables plus a high seating area but we were able to sit our party of 8 comfortably by pushing 2 tables together. And the lady at the register was very nice and helpful with suggestions. On to the good stuff...THE FOOD. Five of us got burgers, each one a different way on the menu and each of us gives them a 5/5! They were cooked perfectly, super flavorful, and all around an excellent burger. My 13 year old got the chicken sandwich and said the pickles were delicious and the amount was perfect, so she gives them a 5/5. Fries were thin cut & crispy. Inclines fries were better BOMB 5/5 for us & same with the garlic fries. And my kids said the chicken nuggets were crispy and fresh. We will definitely stop back to refuel again after another snow day!

The spicy chicken nuggets were okay tasting, but they were on the small side, plus you're charging for the sauces for the chicken nuggets? Kind of a joke there. The inclined burger was dry and not well-seasoned (I had to use the bbq sauce we got with the nuggets) to help choke it down. The garlic fries were decent enough, but they were not crisp like fries should be. Go to the thai or burrito place next door, you'll get better food.

The steak was a little too chewy and tough for my taste, but overall good flavor. I loved the wild rice pilaf side! - lemonade and sierra sunburn: both really fresh and seemed like they were made from fresh lemons! the raspberry in the sunburn was great The lighting was warm and the lights were really overhead. The benches were comfortable and not cold to sit on, and overall nice, clean, comfy environment. Service was really friendly and apologized that the drinks menu didn't have dairy-free options for some of the drinks with dairy, overall really attentive and engaging. The Yard Hen offers early hours and the only real breakfast in town. They are open five days a week, Weds-Sun from 7AM to 2PM. Whether you are vegan or definitely not vegan, Yard Hen has you covered. I got the Veggie Burger, and he opted for the Turkey Cranberry and Brie sando. The Veggie Burger was absolutely delightful. The ciabatta was warm, fluffy, and fresh, and in the age of processed veggie patties, the fact that this patty was homemade was a welcomed treat (I detected some quinoa in there, yum!). Throw in some creamy avocado, and homemade sauce and I had myself a winner! While I didn't try my partner's sandwich, I could tell he felt the same way. It was devoured. If you catch the Yard Hen on a Sunday when the partnering Bear Belly Brewing opens at noon, then you are in for a double treat. Cold, local beer, the warm Tahoe sun, groovy jams being played on the outdoor speakers, and a thoughtful Yard Hen creation will leave you, well... never wanting to leave really.

Family friendly taproom restaurants are always appreciated, and we were stoked to land here during our staycation. As mentioned, the menu goes beyond the basics and we ended up selecting the fried brussel sprouts, pork belly sliders, house chili with cornbread, and the shrimp tacos. Overall, the food was good, which was appreciated considering the pricing in the area. That said, I was expecting a bit more. The tacos were tasty but very basic and not worth a second visit. The brussels had a nice sauce, but they were somewhat overfried and the portion could be bigger. The chili was good too, but nothing super special. The sliders were the real winner (and made me realized I should've ordered a burger) with a nicely seasoned patty topped with a slice of braised pork belly, which wasn't quite as tender as I'd anticipated from the description. Again, all in all, solid eats, but left me feeling burgers and pizzas were the play. Still, Alibi is a highly recommended visit in Incline Village!
