As much as I would like to consider myself a car guy, when I stop short of tedious things like putting my dash, and other interior pieces back together I begin to question it. With a desperate job blast of replacing my hood release cable as well as reassembly of the interior I was nervous to hear back from mechanics that either are too expensive, don't know BMWs, are against doing tedious jobs and although I had a few responses like that, Bimmer Tech was everything I ever wished. Alex reached out and asked a few questions via text about what my needs were and he was able to send a mechanic (also named Alex) the very next day with a very competitive price which was very surprising. Alex the mechanic did an incredible job was very quick too. Not only was he knowledgeable AND quick he was also very neat and tidy with the work space, himself, and his tools. You would be surprised how many mobile mechanics I have had that show up dirty with unorganized dirty tools and looking a bit untrustworthy. I understand that some jobs will require you to get dirty but showing up and leaving dirty and making a mess was not ok Alex's schedule. I had my car serviced at Century BMW and a few days later it wouldn't start and I called five times and nobody picked up the phone at Century BMW so I called Bimmer Tech who sent a man out who worked on the car for hours and finally figured out what was wrong. The "battery discharging while stopped" notification came on in my 2016 BMW i3, so I knew it was a matter of time before the car wouldn't start or charge. I wanted to avoid taking the car to the dealer, so I contacted Bimmer Tech. Max replaced the 12v battery after running a series of tests to ensure the big battery was not the problem. He was methodical and thorough, even asking me to plug into one of the apartment garage chargers so he could check that the battery was charging at the appropriate amps and voltage. I would give Max and Bimmer Tech 100 stars if I could! Great service and very nice people too! read more

Top Notch service. Alex is freaking awesome. I got an outrageous quote for work from BMW shop. I sent the quote to Alex. He cut it in half, and setup appointment. He showed up on time, gave estimate of 5 hours for work and took exactly 5 hours. On my X5 he replaced water pump, thermostat, drive belt, and valley pan. He did provide invoice for all parts purchased and was very clear on any changes that needed to be made. I have another X5 for my daughter and I will be calling him for tuneup and overall service. I can't say enough good things about Alex and Viktor. Driving down from SF to LA my engine light came on. It was 110 degrees and I stopped at a mechanic who did his best but charged me for work I didn't need and didn't fix the issue. A day later with my engine sputtering, thinking i was going to have to spend thousands, I talked to Alex who sent Viktor to run a diagnostic. They had lots of other customers but found time to meet me. The diagnostic was about 45 minutes and Viktor used a smoke machine to identify an engine component was leaking air (very cool to see him work btw). Alex gave me a reasonable quote and two days later Viktor came back and swapped the part. He thought it would take 2-3hrs and completed in1 1/2 hrs. They know what they are doing, communicate and just get it done. These guy are great and I'm truly appreciative / recommend. read more
