BT replaced both front and rear brake pads. After the replacement, my brakes started producing horrible noises whenever reversing. When I asked for help, they just told me the new pads would need to go through a "break in" period after which the noise would eventually go away. However, after 1,000 miles, it has gotten worse and the brakes still make screeching noises whenever I reverse. BT will not help me stating, that unfortunately it is a common occurrence for BMW's original and OEM pads. Have used BimmerTech a couple of times and would recommend. I don't know a lot about cars and it's hard to find a new mechanic you can trust after moving to a new area. I initially defaulted to taking to the dealership, and I'm so happy to have found a much better alternative! First, was for a second opinion after I got an insane quote from Pacific BMW. I had brought it in due to some engine noise while driving and they told me they needed to replace the O2 sensors for an insane quote. That seemed off so contacted BimmerTech. Tony was able to give me a quote based on the problem I described (replacement of valve cover) and get my scheduled within a couple of days. Max came out on time, and quickly diagnosed the issue (valve cover, no issue with the O2 sensors) and stayed all day until it was resolved. Car drove great after - so clearly the O2 sensors didn't need to be replaced! Second time, I needed new brakes and had put off for a couple of weeks. The quote for my pads and rotors was competitive and Stan was able to get me in for the next day. Andrey was early and stayed until everything was done and confirmer to be working properly. Haven't had any issues now and it's been a few weeks from service. It's really convenient not to have to arrange a ride to/from mechanic and to be able to be on site for any adjustments. I moved between services and repairs at house and apartment in a garage were equally convenient. Both mechanics (Max and Andrey) have been punctual, detailed and effective. When requesting a quote, both Tony and Stan got back to me almost immediately (even at off hours and over the weekend) and were able to get me in quickly for service. Only bummer is that you get charged 3% if you use a credit card (I want those points for big purchases) but I get it helps them to keep their costs down so ultimately would rather have cheaper prices and the option to pay Zelle. read more

I decided to go with Bimmer Tech for brake pad replacements on my BMW F82 M4 and was very happy I did. I received a competitively priced quote for OEM brake pads and potential rotor replacements that was priced better than other nearby shops. I wasn't sure if I needed my rotors replaced, but they said they will come with rotors in case and we can decide once they do an inspection. I do have to say I felt a little angst seeing the tech arrive in regular street clothes (and in a Tesla), but he did solid work replacing the thrust arms, front rotors and all the brake pads on my 2015 M235XI in just a few hours.
