My first visit to Bin 100 was almost ten years ago, when I first moved to CT. I have been back numerous times, had various items on the menu and is yet to be disappointed. The food, no matter the choice is amazing, the staff, is great as well . I know my old company books the entire restaurant for the Christmas dinner. You have to try it. I took my daughter there in May for her birthday. I stopped at the restaurant first with flowers and balloons. The staff had everything at the table when we arrived, so it made for a very special dinner. My grandson stole the show, but my daughter did not mind at all . read more

Was in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try since it had good reviews on yelp. I proceeded to order a Cesar salad which was good. It was a good portion and had a nice light salad dressing to it. For dinner, I ordered the Lamb. The Lamb was cooked perfectly but the portion was tiny for the price. The vegetable were just thrown on the plate as if someone was in a rush. The biggest knock I had was the service. The service was slow to say the least. From the Cesar salad to my entree, I waited over 35 minutes. The waitress came to my table three times telling me the food would be out in a few minutes. After coming to the table for a third time, she said the Lamb needed a long time to cook although I ordered Med-Rare. Trying to order a second drink or get more water, seemed almost impossible. The two tables next to me were complaining about the same thing. Overall, I will not be returning to this location again. We had a great meal last night. Our waiter was awesome & made great suggestions. I chose this restaurant because they stated the staff wears masks. Our waiter kept removing his to speak to us....kind of pointless to wear a mask if you keep removing it. We'll be back probably when it's warmer & we can eat outside. read more

Terrible. If you want play dough gnocchi this is the place for you. If you want Ragu tasting sauce. This is the place for you. Arancici we're cut in half and like Bagel bites. Martini, couldn't wash a glass so they served it in a rocks glass and half full. Owner was supposed to come over per waitress. Never did. Don't waste your time on this place. What could have been a negative review is going to be a great review. Let me explain... I ordered my dinner for takeout, picked it up, and went back to my hotel a mile or two down the road. I realized upon opening my dinner that a portion was missing. My first reaction was to be really annoyed. I eat out a lot, and I feel like something is ALWAYS wrong or missing. I have three small kids so I really didn't want to load them all up in the car again, to go get one item. I called to ask them for a refund on that one item, but instead, they offered to bring it to my hotel for me. I was quite happy with that! I was simply calling for a refund because I thought that was the only option. They really surprised me! Aside from that little hiccup, dinner was great! read more

Went here with my husband. Food is fresh and made with high quality ingredients. Try the prix fix menu. Husband enjoyed the aso bucco he had. Homemade gnocchi was good, however the sauce was a little too salty and acidic for me personally. The waitress we had was Fantastic!!! Note that on busy nights, you may be seated at long bench type side by side tables.and the noise level can be loud, especially if your seat mates are not particularly considerate (as ours were quite loud) Overall, my husband really enjoyed this place. For me it was just ok. I gave 4 stars for the waitress, husband's opinion, and quality of the food. The flavor of the sauce was just not my favorite, may just be my taste preferences perhaps. read more

This review is a tale of two experiences. I've been here twice before and consider it one of the better restaurants in the area. First the good. The food and service by Rose were very very good. I had the Shrimp & Monk Fish on a bed of spinach and mashed potatoes. Well prepared and the sauce was amazing. My lady had the Chicken Florentine. Appetizers were also quite good. Sea Scallops with a wonderful sauce and tomotoe and mozzarella on top of a crispy fried eggplant slice. Very yummy. Now the bad. We made reservations, but never expected to get easily the worst table in the house. Next to the back door with big red exit sign, fire extinguisher and fire alarm right by the table. When I asked about a better table, I was basically told, take it or leave it. The greeter at the door who seats people was either having a bad day or needs to learn something about customer service. Again, Rose made up for a rough start to the evening with great service, but the greeter's manner was a bad reflection on the restaurant. read more

Firat & last time. I ordered two apps as my entree and my husband ordered a steak. My food came out as an appetizer, leaving me to eat alone and then wait until his food arrived. Eggplant rollatini was warm not hot and the Caesar Salad dressing was bland. Each soda was $3 and $3 for a refill. Steak was good but expensive at $43 with no salad. Bill came to $80.50. My wife and I came to this place that she found by looking at reviews of local restaurants and we have found a jewel. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the pre fix dinner $38 a person, salad, stuffed mushrooms, amazing flavor. So rice ball of some kind, also amazing and the final course of filet mignonette, that melted in your mouth. Bin 100 is a trendy, chic & modern Italian restaurant located in a strip mall in Milford. The ambiance here was pretty solid which was perfect for date night. The service here left a lot to be desired as it was at a snails pace. Bin 100, you leave $$$ on the table when no one comes over and asks if I want another drink... oh well. In terms of the food, it was mostly really good. For apps, my gf & I ordered the Burrata & Grilled Romaine as well as the Polpette. I was skeptical of the grilled romaine because I once saw Gordon Ramsay on Kitchen Nightmares rip a chef for grilling romaine. Looks like Gordon Ramsay was wrong because this was deeeeliccciouss. My new thing lately has been ordering meatballs (the polpette) & seeing how they stack up to my Mom's. Not going lie, these meatballs were a 2.1 out of 5...can't even be in the same conversation as my mother's. They had no flavor and they were soggier than a wet diaper. Luckily, Bin 100 redeemed themselves with my main course, the boneless short rib. From the presentation to the flavor, everything was on point. It was seasoned nicely and wasn't too salty. Usually when I order a short rib, it either is under seasoned or over seasoned so it was nice to see Bin 100 get it right. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I have to be honest. I drive past Bin every few days and was excited to try it. We ordered delivery and I was completely disappointed. The seafood risotto was well cooked / had nice texture but was super bland. Ended up having to add a bunch of salt and Parmesan. Also ordered the pasta fagiole, the most disappointing part of the meal. Literally it was a cup of beans and pasta with no broth, and so bland it was basically inedible. No salt, no seasoning. Based on this experience I don't have much confidence in the rest of the menu. read more

By far my new favorite restaurant in the area. We ended up coming here last-minute after our original plan to go to a nearby restaurant flopped (thanks to the worst attitude by a server I've ever encountered- see my other review for Reggianos) and we all were SO happy we made the switch. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, the service, vibe, and food were just out of this world. We all ordered off the prix-fixe menu which was such a great deal. The portions were so generous that we all took home food. Our server (and the supporting service staff) were all incredibly kind, attentive and really made our dinner so lovely. Nerves been before. Received a gift card. Had a 7:30 pm Sunday reservation for two. Sat down, a few moments later was brought some water. Bread arrived shortly after. About ten minutes in our poor excuse for a waiter took our drink order. At this time an older couple was sat next to us. Their waiter took their drink and dinner orders. 8:47pm our drinks arrive. My cocktail glass was hot straight from the dishwasher. He blamed the bar for losing our order three times. Kept walking by us. The couple next to us are already enjoying their drinks and apps now. Our menus are still on the table. Finally after getting his attention yet again now 8:00 pm, we asked why the table next to us is about to get their mains we haven't even placed our orders. Very casually asked if we would like to speed to a manager. By the way, the lazy host saw me staring at him and trying to get his attention, but must be something they train the staff. Complained to the host but was brushed off. Some lady appeared asking what can she do. At that point we were both done. Maybe my six pointed star was showing around my neck, or maybe my rainbow flag was waving. So if you are of the same background STAY AWARY from here. They don't like our kind. I have been to this restaurant several times over the past years. However, last night Sunday, was disappointing. Although the server was extremely nice, he was not as attentive as other servers have been at this restaurant. With that comment, our water glasses were not refilled we did not see him between courses to ask if everything was OK. I was with a friend and my meal was the Ossobucco which was a bit dry and very chewy. As neither, my friend, nor I finished our meals and we were dining with the price fix menu, we both asked for our desserts to be wrapped to go. I came here tonight for my boyfriends birthday dinner and I was blown away! I was a little hesitant because I read so many reviews and I wasn't sure how the food would be but I left full and pleased! We had the grilled octopus with arugula, chick peas, and tomatoes for an appetizer and the octopus was succulent and honestly one of the best I have ever had. It was so good I was sad when I finished it. For an entree we both had the Munk fish with pan seared shrimp in a lobster reduction, sauteed spinach with a potato puree. THIS WAS HEAVENLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TRY IT! Munk fish is known to be the "poor mans lobster" and man it really does taste like lobster. It was cooked perfectly. The lobster reduction adds a nice spin to it as I like to dip my fish in it. I also had a glass of Albarino and it was reasonably priced. Next I had an espresso martini with my tirimasu dessert and the martini was not the best espresso martini i have ever had but close enough. Our server was very friendly. The service was a little slow and they seemed to be a little busy but we had no complaints once the food came. Honestly, the food was so good that we had smiles on our faces the entire time.
