Great wine selections, knowledgeable staff. Michael took care of us for a quick pop in for a glass of rose. Need to come back and try more for sure. Had a good amount of seating, wasn't super busy during the week but I can definitely see this place being a great spot for a date, girls night or just to try some unique wines.

    10/10 for the truffle choices

It was good. Large variety to choose from & authentic. It was recommended from our butler & what stood out was the fact they are opening one in France. Reason why we decided to experience this wine bar only.

Third time visiting Charleston, first time visiting Bin 152. It was hotter than Hades outside and I needed a refreshment, and we happened upon this spot. Not too crowded in the early-afternoon on a hot summer Friday, so we were sat immediately. Service was friendly and prompt. Ended up getting Piave Vecchio (hard cow's milk cheese) and Prosciutto di Parma, Domaine Weinbach Riesling (2021), and Chateau Climens "Asphodele" Grand Vin Bordeaux Sec, FR (Semillon 2029). Both cheeses and both wines were great. And that bread was fantastic. We were able to cool down, fill up, and enjoy some great food and drink.

This is a nice spot to enjoy a favorite glass of wine, or try something new. Charcuterie has lots of choices with meat and cheese, but don't expect anything extra on the platter except bread. Simple yet tasty.

This is always a great spot to stop before a dinner reservation in the French quarter. The menu is large and there a lots of selection. It is a casual, but romantic spot to get a drink. I think they also offer beer. I also think they have a Wine Wednesday special with a cheese/meat board.

Wine, cheese, charcuterie... All my heart is yours, it belongs to you; and with you it would remain if fate were to exile the rest of me from your presence forever. Come to Bin 152 on King St. Buy a bottle. Buy a board. While away an amazing afternoon; you won't regret the decision, I assure you. We did exactly that yesterday as we waited for our dinner reservation and it whetted the appetite and set the stage perfectly for a wonderful night.

It was nothing but gobs of fat in our bowls over mashed potatoes. Hardly any meat, tasted a little sweet. I was told the veggies would be squash, zucchini and broccoli when I asked what veggies come with it. Well, no broccoli or squash, they used eggplant. I HATE eggplant. So really I had about two bites of meat and a little mashed potatoes with two pieces of zuchini. We both intensely disliked it. Not to mention we didn't realize it would all be served together, meat on top of mashed potatoes in a bowl with the veggies mixed in. We don't like making a scene so we ate it in silence with me leaving half my bowl full of the fat and the eggplant. We had ordered a charcuterie board to share, so I ate a good portion of that as my main dinner. Also, the portion of food for the price was not a lot. The bowls were kind of small. The price is very expensive. $200 for four people. I gave it three stars because my meal may not have been to my satisfaction but my other son loved his lamb burger-otherwise it may have gotten two stars. I'm not sure if I will try it again. Probably not. First impressions can really make a difference. One glass of wine was $16 dollars here when they are around $8 dollars everywhere else so we paid $32 dollars for 10 ounces of wine. Maybe because it is downtown on Market Street? It was a little too expensive for sub-par food in our opinion. The one day I decided to eat Gluten and it was a meal not worthy of my pain that I always experience after. The Vibe of the place was nice. Rustic yet elegant. Nice tables with tablecloths. I loved the atmosphere. Just wish the food was better. Can't say I'd recommend it if you are visiting Charleston. There are too many other great places downtown to try. But who knows, you may like it if you try the burger. Or if you like fat.. by all means get the beef ribs. My son ate his fat.. he said if he didn't eat the fat he wouldn't have had much of a supper. But he can tolerate fat. I cannot.

The service was excellent -- polished, warm, and confidently attentive without ever feeling overdone. They know how to make a night feel special. And let me just say: the wine selection was excellent. Thoughtful pours, great bottles, and spot‑on pairing guidance. It felt curated, not crowded. Our table went in on a mix of dishes, and every single one delivered: * Waldorf salad -- crisp, bright, and beautifully balanced * Cioppino -- rich, aromatic, and full of tender seafood * Elevated swordfish -- perfectly cooked with that refined, coastal flair * Mussels -- tender, fragrant, and deeply seasoned * Filet mignon -- melt‑in‑your‑mouth and plated like a little moment High Cotton blends Southern charm with fine‑dining finesse, and it shows in every detail. My group left happy, impressed, and already planning the next visit. Charleston has plenty of great restaurants -- but High Cotton knows how to make you feel like you chose the right one.

We frequently dine at many of the higher-end restaurants in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant,…read moreso we arrived with high expectations, especially given this restaurant's connection to the Halls group. The dining room is beautiful, and the ambiance is excellent. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality level or price point of the restaurant. When entrées range from $65-$70 for fish, $80+ for steaks, and side dishes approach $14 or more, guests reasonably expect an elevated and attentive dining experience. Throughout the evening, our server seemed rushed and disengaged. Despite our efforts to be friendly and conversational, interactions felt brief and transactional. A drink order was delivered incorrectly, and rather than improving as the meal progressed, the service became increasingly impersonal. We never felt particularly welcomed or valued as guests. A special night out with a $300-$400 check should feel memorable for the right reasons. While the food and atmosphere were good, the overall experience fell short of what we have come to expect from restaurants operating in this category and at this price level. We are glad we gave it a try, but in the future we'll likely choose other Charleston-area restaurants that deliver a more polished and hospitality-focused experience when entertaining family and friends from out of town.

A group of about 8 of us went out for drinks Saturday (5/2/26). We were having a great time (respectful, quiet, not causing a problem). Just after we bought drinks? The posted hours say they close at 2a. Not 1:45a. Most of us left half finished drinks. The large bouncer was nice enough, the tiny one in a hoodie with glasses was totally unprofessional. So beware. The Blind Tiger has what it takes to remain a Charleston institution.
