What a cute, creative spot. I stopped here for a few appetizers, and I also enjoyed a few wines. The wine concept is that there are 5 cases of wines, you can choose a tasting, a glass, a larger pour, or a bottle. You get a new glass with each new pour. You choose which wine you'd like & how much you'd like. I appreciated that I could do tastings of various wines. The QR code gave tasting notes, so I could choose what I might want from there. The food was also delicious. The meatball had a cinnamon after taste which was interesting. The crostinis were super tasty with the goat cheese, balsamic reduction, and strawberries.

I left a solid review for this spot that sadly was deleted in error. I finally tried the espresso martini which was rated #1 in Charleston! Impressive given how many bars serve it. I definitely enjoyed it. There is a server from PA here who is so sweet & friendly!! The selection of wines were fantastic and my parents were happy to see some Spanish wines.

We had the best time at Uncorked! It was a great experience to try unique wines from around the world! We were surprised how much we enjoyed the wines from Morrocco and Lebanon! The owner is lovely and takes the time to get to know you. I would recommend Uncorked to all my friends!

Ate and drank here last week while in town. I drank beer, very good selection for having only 4 drafts, could not go wrong. Wife had a cocktail, blueberry smash deal, she said it was very good. 'The kids' had the self serve wine, they liked the wine and the process. Service was exceptional, beyond exceptional. Daughter's boyfriend made a reservation and they had a beautifully set table ready for us. The place had a cool vibe, loved it, very relaxing. Charcuterie board was great (pictured). We also had all the shareable plates, all good, the meatballs win. Super tasty, could have been one persons meal. Wheelchair accessibility was good and the had clearly planned ahead, which is always nice when you have a reservation

Uncork was amazing! We came here on my bach trip and the atmosphere was chill but lively which fits my vibe perfectly! The self serve wine was an experience in itself and the food was 10/10! It's a good spot for the girls but also a cute spot for a date!

The new owner reached out after seeing my previous review and offered us a complementary shared plate, a friend and I decided to give it another shot and the experience completely restored my faith in this place. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Couldn't be happier to change my mind on something. Very thankful to have an owner who cares about customers.

If you're in Charleston visiting, you have to do this food tour we did that affiliated with this restaurant. It was legit amazing!!! We started at the Veggie Bin. Where everyone who booked the tour that day picked out one thing in the store and the chef takes what everyone picked and prepares a surprise 4 course meal for everyone. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chef comes out the table to serve you and explains each ingredient used that the group picked. Very delicious and unique. I never had so much fun. While the chef prepares the group also goes on a tour around Charleston. You have to check it out!! Here are some dishes the chef prepared with our ingredients

With a busy morning in Charleston we stopped by Uncorked in the afternoon for a small snack. Upon entering you are given a card with a chip to use for wine and food. They have 40 wines on tap that you are able to choose if you want 3,6, or 9 oz pours. With our wine, I got the Stuffed Portabello Mushrooms and they were gluten free and a great snack. They didn't have a ton of gluten free options but I was glad they had a few. The appetizers were a little expensive for the size but the wine was a good price. The inside of the restaurant has a great ambiance and is a cute place. There's street parking located out of this business if you're driving.

Wasn't expecting to visit while in Charleston for a short while but the family was torn. My son and I wanted biscuits next-door and my husband is not a breakfast person! So luckily I am not a big wine person (only because I have Asian flush andcant consumeorenthan a few sips before I'm beet red) but he is and we got our biscuits came into uncork, ordered wine, she crab soup and salad and everyone was happy! Honestly the salad and perfect appetizers were great for me because the biscuit was quite heavy. I asked our server what could I order that is quintessential Charleston and she suggested that she crab soup! I had never had one before but I loved it so much... that hint of Sherry was everything! I've seen this wine bar concept before but Uncork really has it down. HubbyStanks was in heaven!

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was intimate, beautiful, and the perfect setting for a relaxed Saturday night cap. What made the experience truly special was the bartender. There's no traditional menu, instead, he takes the time to learn what you like and crafts drinks based on your taste. I've never experienced anything like that before. The level of knowledge and creativity behind the bar was incredible. Every drink he made was stunning and tasted even better than it looked. I was honestly so impressed that I couldn't even remember all the ingredients he mentioned because I was too busy being amazed at how good everything was. It was one of those moments where you realize there are real levels to this craft. I walked in thinking I knew a thing or two about mixing drinks at home, and left with a whole new respect for the art of it. The atmosphere, the personal attention, and the quality of the cocktails made this place feel truly top tier. Huge shoutout to the bartender, easily a 15 out of 10. Cool, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. If you're looking for an intimate spot for date night or just want to experience thoughtfully crafted cocktails in a beautiful setting, the Annex is the place. (On occasion, I rant about how we need more cocktail bars and wine bars that don't serve food at all or just snacks like nuts - don't get me started.) Last Saint is a really cool dual concept cocktail bar. The front of Last Saint is more casual - small, cozy, allows walk-ins. But you can also make reservations (or try to get lucky walking in) at the Annex. The Annex is their weekends-only cocktail experience in the back of Last Saint. You walk to the back of the bar and press ring the bell by the yellow door. Someone answers and seats at one of six seats at the bar and three small (but private) tables. The Annex is a no-menu experience. The friendly and creative staff ask you questions about your preferences for drinks and then make you something that fits the bill. It was personal and fun, and we enjoyed all the drinks we had. A reservation at the Annex is good for a 1.5 hour time frame, which was perfect for us to have two drinks before closing out and heading to our dinner reservation. We sat at the bar, which I loved, because we got to chat with the staff and watch them make our and others' drinks while we enjoyed our creative cocktails. The staff have a wide knowledge of cocktails and an almost endless supply of ingredients to choose from when making your drinks. A truly fun experience. One I haven't had in any other city. I wish there were more bars like Last Saint!

It's exciting to make another major wedding decision and feel like we're getting closer to having everything come together. At the same time, I've been feeling a little uneasy about some of the budget conversations. Part of it is that I don't always feel like Olivia and I approach spending the same way. One thing that bothered me was that after deciding on Parcel 32, the conversation quickly shifted toward adding things like a photographer for the rehearsal dinner. My reaction was that we should wait until we understand the full wedding budget before making those decisions. There are still major unknowns, especially rentals, and I don't think we really know what the final numbers are going to look like. The same thing comes up with invitations. Olivia wants high end stationery and sees it as an important part of the wedding. I understand the perspective that it's our wedding and that it's a once in a lifetime event. But I also feel like I keep coming back to the budget while she keeps coming back to the experience. What makes me uncomfortable is treating money that appears to be left over in one category as money that's immediately available to spend somewhere else. In my mind, we don't know what we truly have left until the entire budget is finalized. Just because the rehearsal dinner comes in under budget doesn't necessarily mean we should immediately spend that difference somewhere else. Another thing that keeps coming back into my head is that Olivia makes very good money. She's probably making somewhere between $135,000 and $145,000 a year, which is objectively a strong income. So when I hear things like, "Maybe I need a second job to pay for that," my reaction is that a second job isn't really the issue. From my perspective, the issue is spending decisions. When I look at her financial situation, I don't see someone who has an income problem. I see someone who has made a series of expensive decisions that, when combined, created the situation she's in today. The apartment is one example. It was a really nice apartment, but given the amount of debt she already had, I don't think it was the most financially responsible choice. The rhinoplasty is another example. Whether it was personally important to her or not, it was still a major expense added on top of an already difficult financial situation. The dog is another one. I love Rio and I'm happy we have him, but realistically, a dog is another financial commitment that probably wasn't necessary at that point in time. Then there's the Jeep, which is probably the biggest example of all. Individually, each of these decisions can be justified. But when I step back and look at them together, I see a pattern of choosing things she wanted despite already carrying significant debt. That's what worries me. Not because of the wedding itself, but because I wonder whether that same pattern could show up later with vacations, kids, housing upgrades, or other major purchases. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe wedding planning is making me more sensitive to these things. But I don't think my concern is really about invitations or photographers. I think it's about whether we fundamentally approach money differently. The reality is that our families are already spending roughly $225,000 on this wedding.
