Wycoff Environmental was recommended to me by my mold remediation company, as I had previously utilized "Amazon" mold detectors. I was advised these DYI mold tests are thrown out in Court, so I needed a legitimate test. Jenny was professional, timely, knowledgeable and patient. I called her on a Thursday, she was at my house on a Friday. The reports were exceedingly detailed and included photographs and the company credentials. By Friday afternoon (same day), Jenny called me to go over the findings. By Tuesday, I had a PDF of the report (Monday was a national holiday). The Fee for the testing was reasonable and customary, and I was able to provide my attorney with this new data to help my case. When you don't know what to do and who to call, contacting Wycoff Environmental is a step in the right direction.

Given how stressful everything else has been with my claim, I appreciate this being a breeze and knowing my house is safe to start work and remove some belongings is a good feeling. The buyers raised a concern about a water stain on the garage ceiling. After notifying the appropriate parties (Travelers and American Home Shield), we had both PuroClean and Advanced Home Services come out. Thankfully, both confirmed there were no active leaks, and we were good to move forward with drywall repairs. Even after involving both sets of realtors, the buyers started to get cold feet, expressing concerns about potential mold. This is despite their home inspection confirming there was no mold on the report (something we found out from our realtor). I searched "mold inspection" here on Yelp and found this company. I called to ask about pricing and availability and was pleasantly surprised. Despite some unfortunate setbacks, scheduling became an issue; however, that was able to resolved. Oliver came by while there was still a 4x4 hole in our garage ceiling. He did a thorough inspection of the plumbing. The result? No mold. And even better, no charge. Thanks to Mold Eliminators / Construction by Mirage, we were able to keep the process moving. Huge relief and excellent service.

Ian even returned my call on Easter Sunday & promptly scheduled an appointment to assess the situation. Ian & his son, Kasey found the leak, cut the drywall do everything could dry out & the plumber could fix the leak. After the repair they came back to inspect that there was no residual moisture or mold. Everything was dry, clean, mold free. They did a great job at a very reasonable price! I would recommend them without hesitation. I also had them clean out my dryer vent. They do a variety of clean ups including air vents etc. I was given a final Inspection report to keep with my records of the repair.

They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

He was able to explain to me how he was able to figure out what was an issue and what is not. This made me very confident on my house purchase. Mixed experience overall. Negative #1: Countertop damage & waiver handling I was asked to sign a countertop liability waiver prior to demolition. During the work, a noticeable piece of my countertop was chipped off, and this was not proactively communicated to me. I only discovered it later myself. While I understand the purpose of a waiver, the lack of transparency here was disappointing. It's difficult to believe the damage went unnoticed at the time. As a result, I'm now left with over $2,000 loss unless I pursue another insurance claim. Additionally, I was verbally told by the sales/project contact that they would help with some form of credit if insurance did not cover the damage. That did not materialize, which added to the frustration. That means they say things they don't mean to and give empty promises. Negative #2: Communication and project management Communication throughout the process was inconsistent. The project/sales contact did not provide proactive updates, and I often had to follow up multiple times to get status. When updates did come, they were often vague or changing ("waiting on another office," "we'll update soon," etc.), but without clear timelines or follow-through. It has now been over two months, and my insurance is still waiting on documentation from them, with limited visibility into progress. Positive: The mitigation work itself appears to have been done well. Team members like Roberto and Forest were professional, friendly, and communicative on-site -- they were the highlight of the experience. read more

1 Star - Extremely Poor Service and Communication I had a very disappointing experience with Bingham Restoration and would strongly recommend not using this company. On multiple occasions, the company no-called, no-showed for scheduled appointments. We were repeatedly given 4-hour service windows, which they failed to honor. The only reason anyone ever showed up was that we had to repeatedly call them, and even then, they would arrive hours late. On one occasion, our scheduled window was 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, yet they attempted to show up around 5:00 PM, well outside the agreed time, with no prior communication. What should have been a simple restoration job involving two bathrooms with minimal water damage dragged on for over two weeks, which is completely unreasonable. During this time, their equipment was left on-site for multiple days without any contact or updates, and they later showed up unannounced to retrieve it. Their service is horrible, their customer service is equally poor, and there was a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and communication throughout the process. I will be reporting this experience to the BBB, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using this company for restoration services. read more

To appease our buyers, I immediately called Pure Plumbing to correct the issue. Francis C. was dispatched to my home today in regard to the above matter. Turns out, the sinks are very much up to code. He took several pictures, cited plumbing code, etc. I was relieved that we did not require a repair and that Francis and Pure Plumbing was so honest with me. Francis provided me with documentation of his findings that I can keep for my records and also provide to the realtors/buyers. It has been a pleasure doing business with Pure Plumbing and I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. Unfortunately, my experience changed once the technician arrived. After discussing my concerns, only a very limited inspection was performed. The technician checked my refrigerant lines by hand and, during the process, tore part of the insulation covering the lines. The insulation was left damaged without being repaired, repositioned, or taped back together. I explained that I had recently cleaned the system myself and had been experiencing performance issues afterward. By the time of the appointment, the system had fortunately started operating normally again. Despite my concerns, the technician did not perform what I would consider a thorough inspection of either the outdoor unit or the indoor head unit. Several areas I asked about were dismissed with comments such as, "Don't worry about that, it doesn't need cleaning." When I later asked about replacement options and newer systems, the conversation quickly shifted toward sales estimates. I was quoted approximately $11,000 for a new ductless mini-split installation. While I understand labor, materials, permits, overhead, and warranties contribute to installation costs, the estimate seemed significantly higher than I expected. What confused me most was that the technician appeared far more interested in discussing replacement options than addressing the maintenance concerns I originally scheduled the appointment for. At the end of the visit, I was informed there would be a $19 charge. Assuming this was being collected before the advertised coil cleaning service was performed, I also provided a $20 tip. However, the technician then left without performing any coil cleaning service. In the end, I paid for a service call, had insulation on my system damaged, received very little troubleshooting or maintenance assistance, and never received the coil cleaning that was advertised and expected. I left the experience disappointed and feeling that my concerns were never properly addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
