What could improve? How about better communication and /or not lying about the service. Semper Fi recommended Restoration to me for the water damage at my house on the second floor. Granted they came in the same day, Jonatan came in the same day and assured me that they "will take care of everything" which was a lie. The next day, his crew came and started the demolition, put the floor cover and the fans. I tried contacting Jonatan but no response since i had questions. Looks like they come in fast and start the work so I can't do anything about it if don't want them to continue. The person who took over for Jonathan was nice, came over several times during the process and responded well to my questions. It took them over 3 days to dry the walls and floors don't know why since it was a small area. Once everything was "dry", the rebuild was contracted out to another company, Inspired Construction. That was a nightmare too and another review. Once they were done, they were done and never heard anything from them until they've demanded payment. Don't trust this company and don't trust Jonatan, that's all I am saying. read more

Does even rate a partial star. This is by far the worst experience I have had with a contractor. We called a plummer for a water leak, they called in bingham who tore out walls inside and in our garage. The guy refused to give us an estimate, stating bingham would bill our insurance. We called bingham 6 times to get a total and were promised a callback that day Never got a callback, our insurance hasn't gotten anything. The last call connected is to the guy who came out, he was rude and condescending, he said we would get an email with the charges by 5:00 that night. No e mail... We are elderly people and got taken advantage of not only by the plummer, but also bingham. We were railroaded into filing an insurance claim even though we wanted to pay ourselves. This company is completely non responsive after they demo your house. Save yourself weeks of agrivation, don't use bingham. read more

our initial interaction with Bingham was very good. They responded after a slight water leak from our water heater. They got us started with a construction company to repair dry wall. In the end their prices were extremely high and our insurance company refused to pay their outrageous rates. As a first time customer dealing with insurance and restoration were were duped and had to pay lots of money that was not covered by insurance. I was harassed by their claim collection company almost every day by email and telephone calls for weeks. We have learned a very expensive lesson. BEWARE!!!!! read more

Had an initial great interaction with these guys for the most part until dealing with the insurance and billing. 1. They didn't do a great job of exposing where the leak was to get it all dried out. All they did was pull up the carpet and cut a thin slice in the wall. We had fans on the area for almost 2 weeks. They did nothing to take care of the black mold in the floor or wall. The plumber didn't properly fix the leak so there was a "second" leak. It was AFTER that leak that they actually did what needed to be done to clean up any black mold/mildew and then they filed for another claim. 2. I'm not sure if it was an accident or fraud, but they sent our insurance company photos/bill for the "second" leak that was NOT our house. We were getting calls from collections about the second claim. We battled with our insurance and finally got photos of the "second claim" from Bingham. That's when I realized why the insurance was telling us we needed a second claim, bc the photos from the first leak didn't match the photos from the second, bc it was a TOTALLY different house! That "second" claim is now closed. 3. I was told when I met with Nate the first time that Bingham would accept whatever the insurance was paying out and that we wouldn't get a bill from them. We have cameras IN the house with this conversation recorded. I am now having collectors calling to get money from what the insurance company denied. It's a 4k bill "discounted" from the 10k bill that's been denied. Do not use these guys unless you have the time to keep your thumb in them and KNOW what does/doesn't need to be done. I'm really disappointed bc the meeting with Nate went great and he was decent with keeping us in the loop about what was going on with the billing, but the drama on the other side has been a nightmare. read more

They responded to me within minutes and were able to have a technician out within an hour. The technician was thorough, kind, and transparent. With my permission, they began work immediately on mitigation. They took care of scheduling an asbestos testing company as well, which the other company we got a quote from would not do. They have handled everything so fairly and professionally. I cannot say enough how much I appreciate their help. They work closely with insurance companies and are very helpful and responsive to client needs. They demystified the process for us. I had an issue with a previous leak behind my washed and my plumbers referred Bingham Restoration. They showed up right away and took down the drywall to make sure there was nothing from the previous leak. When I spoke to their agent, I thought I'd be paying one price only for the drywall removal and replacement as long as there were no other issues. I'm not sure where our communication breakdown occurred but I was upset when I was told there would be another fee to replace the drywall- through another subcontractor. Today, the agent I had first spoken with contacted me and asked how we could fix the problem. (I had already hired someone else to replace the drywall). I think it shows a lot if professionalism to make contact and want to work together to fix the issue... and we did. I admitted that I am a Senior snd I may have not understood the issue completely and he agreed that there could have been communication problems. Bottom line, we agreed to a partial refund that I'm happy with and I feel they went above and beyond to fix the problem. Good guys! read more
