This review is for the grab and go deli at Bingo grocery store. Grabbed some food after getting groceries and it wasn't bad. There was a small cafeteria style service with the items displayed. I got a combo plate with chow mein, sticky rice, pork belly and chicken wings. I HUGE plate for just $12.99! I had to buy the spicy and sour dipping sauce (jeow som) on the side which was $3 , just know that it's not included. Honestly for $12.99 it was not bad at all and fed me for lunch and dinner. I usually never vocalize my criticism when it comes to bad food, but this by far is the worst sandwich I have ever eaten in my entire life!!!!!! I am extremely upset that I wasted $10 on this sorry version of a sandwich. The bread was way too thick for the amount of filling that they put in it. To start the review off what I'm listing cost over $60+ We ordered Chow mein Rice Quail Egg rolls 10ct Spring rolls Shrimp Now the chow mein LOOKED horrible and soggy and chalky and I asked a customer who seemed like a regular I asked if it was good and she said yes so I ordered some,which I regret it was gross and has been sitting out all day it seemed like. Now the Rice has a weird color to it but again I wanted to give it a try and sure enough it tasted spoiled like it was just bad it had no flavor and it had a bad smell. The quail was OK, it has this spicy jalapeño taste which was great it was a little dry but it was the best tasting thing. Egg rolls, were soggy and no crunch at all and whatever was inside the egg rolls were very slimy and soggy so they must have been there most the day also Spring rolls were ok they had a great fresh taste to them but I'm not sure what was in them spam? Or some kind of meat? Either way I took it out because it didn't look to good it was like a weird brownish color. And they tore very easily. Now the shrimp I guess are battered with some kind of something and dipped in some kind of plain sauce idk it was also very bland there was no exact taste to it and was chalky and powdery it just smelled my whole car up . My experience was not what I expected I seen their page on Facebook and all their food looked very fresh and good and when you get their it's the opposite, Would not return to this place of business, Not worth having diarrhea all day! It's been over 10 years since I last step foot in this store but today I thought I'd give them a try again since they always have ads of their sales on fb. To make it short, I guess I came after lunch before most of the hot items were sold out so I settle for what cravings I had next. I will say the sticky rice and chicken has a very nice portion and the flavors are all there. The steam rolls was very nicely roll and the sauce matched well with them. Now the seafood spicy mix, not even sure if that's what it's call but it definitely satisfied my cravings! The flavor and colors and texture of everything mixed in together was very good. Overall my only complaint would be that there is no price tag attached to any of these items so it was a guessing game of to what the price was right at the register. But that will stop me from coming back again soon. read more

This place used to be packed back in the 90s and early 2000s, but has since gone downhill with the rise in competing Asian grocery stores. The owners have since changed and they have introduced the hot food section. I've only tried the papaya salad so I can't attest for the other food items. The papaya salad is good but can vary depending on who is making it. The grocery store has a selection of fruits, vegetables, Asian groceries, general grocery goods, and other household products. They sometimes have sales and prices are generally the same at competing stores. With COVID in consideration, I find it disturbing the SAME employee at the cash register does not wear a mask the multiple times I've been there. I've seen the manager (who I assume is the manager) tell this SAME employee to put on a mask. She reluctantly puts on the mask and other times she is without one while the manager are not present. It makes me uncertain if I want to return to this store, especially with elderly family members. Please take COVID safety precautions seriously. read more

I was surprised that this place even existed at first because it was really hidden, located in a very ghetto area of Fresno and it seems out of nowhere just existed like a mirage , and its not much different from its competitor golden bowl (still disorganized, not really clean) -yet another authentic south east asian grocery store located in the ghetto area of Fresno. I think the main difference with bingo is that they sell fresh made thai, laotian, hmong food sold in the deli style. Ive not tried it so I can't say it, but they do have a "corner order your food area"- just saying..... This is the store I normally go if R-N runs out of all the ingredients I need. Which means this is my last resort store. I like that the store sells various ingredients similar to what you can find at golden bowl, which is perfect if your looking into making aunthentic south east asian dishes (especially vietnam, thai, laos and hmong), I found ingredients such as lemongrass, lime, thai chilis, galangal, asian root vegetables, weird ingredients like frozen crickets an frog legs to boba drink mixes and the boba jelly itself; basically this store has a lot of stuff. I also forgot to mention that they do sell fresh fish (or kinda fresh ) and meats and inner organs fit for a zombie (tripe, hearts, kindney, brains and etc). They also sell plastic containers and some kitchen ware too. Im slightly displeased that their prices seems to be higher than golden bowl from my comparison, not a huge lot, but if your looking for dollar difference like me you can see it. Im even more surprised that most things here is even more expensive than R-N market, I would think that things here would be cheaper since its located in such a ghetto area. read more

This place is HORRIBLE and I hope they get closed down. I will be in contact with Fresno County to share how horrible their hot food department really is.. how they use left over bad portion of meats to make their hot foods. My husband had purchase what looked to be chicken meat and turn out to be bad portions of chicken parts with hardly any meat. Much less to say selling chicken ass is what they were really trying to do. In case you folks dont know sausage meat that looks to be made fresh are actually left over chicken organs being grounded and used to stuff back into the sausage as fillings. Flies normally hang out in the area and the store is dirty and disorganize not to mention reeks like rotten meat by the frig area. Coming from out of town, I wanted to visit this place because I haven't been here in 10+ years. We came here mainly for the hot food, which is at the front to the right. There wasn't much food. I didn't see what I wanting. The pictures on yelp showed some food that I was interested in. And they didn't have any when I went. They had one kapoon left and so we bought that. It was OK but could've been a lot better. You could tell that the curry was not stirfried so there's no hot oil with the curry broth. The noodles were nice and soft. There is not enough meat. The portions were big but I think was mainly noodles and cabbage. I do love that they give you about four or five dry pepper. I love pepper so that was a plus. It's not in the best part of town so price wise can not compare to going out of the way for asian ingredients. Limited options compared to other Asian grocers. Fresh vegetables are not fresh. Old and limped vegetables. Ginger was a good price. Even the sausages are too pricey. It's only $10.99 at RN Market. If you live near it's ok for emergency items but I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here due to limited options and price comparisons. This place is pretty good if you need some Asian groceries. They have fresh vegetables and canned goods as well as fresh food. The store is pretty spacious and clean. The staff provided OK service.. I'm not saying that they are terrible, but maybe it's just the workers that that moment. But pretty much, this place has all the things you need if you don't want to jump to several stores to get your groceries. First thing first, when I arrive to the entrance, the outside of the store has a lot of useful advertisement, but keep in mind, sometimes, they are old and the outside can be dirty. Once you enter, all the fresh produce is on your left. Walking toward, there are canned goods. There are many fresh greens from local farmers, which is something I love to buy. It is fairly cheap and they are bundled up and wrapped neatly. The canned goods are neatly stacked and labeled. I like how they keep all their things together and they are very organized. The fresh food.. I'm not a big fan of it.. The eggrolls aren't all that great but not the worse either..it is 2 for $1. The pepper they have here taste so yummy! I go here for the canned vegetarian chicken (not a lot of places in Fresno have it) and coconut milk (they have huge cans! lol...) They have good bottled drinks and fresh desserts. Some of their deli foods are made on-site or at another Fresno establishment. I believe it's Hmong-run and centered, but they have a variety of domestic and imported Asian and American products. Very good family store and friendly staff and feel save shopping there .i always get a fresh fruits and vegetables hard to find in other places . Over the weekend and some times during days I gather with my friends eating there lovely and out side BBQ 's so delicious I recommend everyone to try it . We always make our orders for the new year through them with big quantity and we get on time ,the store manager is wonderful guy also we were lucky once by accident met the store's owner (Mike ) with my family and kids and insisted giving my kids a free toys and candy's as a gift and my kids went back home with a happy faces and big smile . yes very typical asian grocery market. produce isn't the best, but cheap as hell. i mean it's not the cleanest, but most asian groceries stores aren't (don't ask me why). But this is the place to go if you want to cook an authentic asian meal. they have lots of asian ingredients and a lot of other asian stuff. as for parking oh man. well most of the drivers in the parking lot are asian. it's basically a nightmare trying to back out. the last time i had to use a credit card and the minimum to use a credit card is $10. read more

I will not be coming back here ever again. I hadn't been here in a while but decided to stop by this store on a day that I was visiting family nearby. I thought maybe they upgraded when I noticed that they added a new veranda outside but looks can be deceiving. I called in my order ahead of time so the food was already boxed and ready to go but once we got home and opened it, I realized what a huge mistake we made. They gave us the wrong kind of fried fish and both that and the fried shrimp we ordered was dry and not appealing. The food must've been sitting around for a while and the papaya salad they made for us was also "not right". This place is now under new ownership. It's been a while since I had been here and when I arrived I knew something was very different besides the cage up front. They new owners make they're presence felt by standing around the front eyeing everyone who arrives. After not finding what we specifically knew we could find during old ownership we decided to buy a soda and leave. Passing by the meat fridge I could smell a very strong odor of rotting meat.
