Cool neighborhood bar that has a front porch area and also outdoor seating. They also have a billards table and a small back room to hangout in. The drinks are fairly inexpensive and the bartender is quick to make your drinks. Good place to sit and chill.

Super cute bar located in the Alberta District. Met my childhood BFF here for drinks and a good time -- Binks delivered. We ordered several drinks, and small bites -- loved all of it. Our server was on point the entire night. She made sure our drinks were filled and snacks were satisfying. Would recommend any day.

This place was one of our favorite stops. Stumbled upon this cool bar with an easy going vibe.. our bartender Megan was super friendly. Loved this spot. Also tried the spicy passion - house infused habanero vodka , with cilantro and passion fruit. It was sooo delicious I forgot to take a picture!!!

Typical dive bar kind of place. We did come late in the night but the place was far from empty. You have to order the drinks at the bar and find yourself a place then. we ordered a few couple drinks and the pizza along with the garlic knots and the chips and Queso. The food came in piping hot which was just what you need after a night of drinking. They have a pool table which never got free for the hour or so we sat there. There is a separate smoking area right inside and a juke box. Thankfully the crowd at the time had good taste and all of us did honestly enjoy the music ! Its kind of dark and weirdly furnished and maybe they could work on rearranging their furniture to set up a better seating area .

I've driven past this place dozens of times, but never stopped. A friend suggested we meet here for a drink and SO glad we did. First, the staff... they're just plain awesome! Fast, efficient, friendly. They made me feel like a long-time customer, even though it was my first time here. I tried a couple different drink specials off their board and they were strong and tasted great. There's one pool table here and several people in line waiting to play. I don't smoke, but I did peek into the (indoor) smoking area. They have a fireplace and heated stone seats. Surprisingly, even though the smoking area is adjacent to the pool room, the smell of smoke wasn't too strong. Music is on a juke box, which the staff generously loads with quarters, so that customers can select songs (nice!) It was quite an eclectic crowd, but all the music people chose was great. (Maybe the juke box only has good music choices?) Lots of funk, old R&B, rock, some rap (Beastie Boys, LMFAO) no complaints. Everyone suggested that I try the pizza, so I got one to go. It was overcooked (crust was very burnt) and not enough cheese. But for bar food it was okay.

Stopped in here for a quick beer. Seemed like a typical bar. Lots of cocktail options as well a some good pale ale and IPA on tap. Didn't appreciate the fact that I was charged $15 dollars for a single beer.... because the bartender had "assumed" I had also ordered 2 shots of tequila while he had stepped away. The bartender took it off when I challenged the charge. I would recommend stopping in....but pay close attention to your bill

The kid space was a great size and my two small ones loved being able to play while we ate. I loved that they had some great open ended toys and I didn't need to worry about them disturbing our neighbors. Our server, Emma, was great! She was attentive and quick. She even made our kids chocolate milk even though it's not on the menu. Our food was amazing. We had the kids butter noodles (I'd order that for my adult meal if I could!), kids cheeseburger, deviled eggs, caprese with prosciutto, and fish and chips. The fish was so good and big! This isn't the original location of where Deschutes started, but I wanted to try the actual brewing of Deschutes while in Oregon. It didn't take long for us to get seated at a high table. We originally wanted to sit at the bar, but changed our minds because there were numerous people there watching the World Cup game. We had a bubbly and kind server support us during our time here. We had ordered a 3 piece honey gochujang wings with extra celery and carrots. I also wanted to try their fish and chips. I substituted my fries for Parmesan Garlic Fries. My fiancé ordered their Gyro burger. We washed down our food with delicious beers. Their food was good and quick. I really liked their ranch dressing because it's not typical. Their fish was fresh and crispy, too. We left Deschutes feeling full and content. The only change I'd make is how the garlic Parmesan fries were, but that's me. I still believe it's worth a visit when you're visiting the area, especially if you're also a beer fanatic like I am!

Having tucked away spaces lined with books to actually sit and read, talk, or hang out in is so rare in a bar setting. It makes it feel more like a community space than just another tap house. At the same time, it works really well for large groups, we've rolled in deep before and never had an issue finding room to spread out. The beer selection is excellent. Thoughtful and rotating enough to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. Whether you want something hoppy, something dark, or something easy drinking, they've got you. And the left wing vibe is the cherry on top. It's refreshing to spend time in a space that wears its politics on its sleeve, pro-labor, pro-community, unapologetically itself. Outstanding! This space suits so many purposes: studying, catching up over a drink, planning/researching, etc. There's even a conference room with seating for 11 that you can reserve. You can play board games here if no one's home is big enough for your group (their website says they no longer book the conference room for board games, but you can game there if it's not reserved). There's a few games in the upstairs green room closet. On a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of spots open, but it is not dead either. Theres a variety of seating to suit all body types and preferences. First floor is wheelchair accessible. The upstairs bathroom has ducks on the ceiling so that's worth a visit alone. The blueberry rooibos iced tea is delicious and you add your own sweetener at the drink station. It literally feels like hanging out at a friend's house. Worth popping in if you haven't been. Great rooftop vibe and a fun place to hang out for an afternoon. We ordered a beer flight, and as someone who's had quite a few brewery flights and is pretty open-minded when it comes to beer, this one unfortunately missed the mark for me. Out of the 10 beers, only about 3 were somewhat enjoyable and around 4 were honestly undrinkable. Thankfully, the food redeemed things a bit. We got the pizza with artichoke hearts, mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, and basil. It was super flavorful and the dough was delicious, especially the crust. We also tried the catfish po' boy. It was a little salty, but the fish itself was cooked really well and the sauce was tasty. The spring mix salad with cranberries, slivered almonds, and feta was good too, though I personally would've liked a better toppings-to-lettuce ratio. Overall, I'd come back for the rooftop and food, but probably know to expect mediocre brews.

Simple with pepitas, kale and raddicio. Cheese and dressing. Their beers are some of my favorite from a local brewery. Their Cloud Mentality is a good choice for IPAs. The line gets long for the bar and there's no way to close your tab if you leave it open unless you're willing to wait in the line again to pay. Only minor thing was some of the cheese slid off, but nothing that took away from it overall. I also tried the Caesar salad. It didn't come with croutons (not sure if that's intentional), and while the dressing was evenly coated, the Parmesan was a bit heavy and ended up overpowering the rest.
