The food was delicious and very flavorful. The service was on point even with being extremely busy.

wings took about 30 minutes to make but they were the best thing we had here so i dont really mind hehe. the pizza crust was notably good and flavorful and the rest of the pizza itself was alright- it needed more salami tbh. we also got a caesar salad but did not like the leaf choice. the kale stems were too much and the dressing was meh outdoor seating was great, just a bit buggy. service was on the slower side but there was only server for the entire outdoor area sooo... i saw lots of other ppl get foccia bread and it looked reall good....

This was such a cute find. We got the seasonal pizza and it was so good- also it's really hard to find good ranch in Portland? And this place has the BEST ranch. Service was also great.

We had a great experience at The Pocket Pub. We came on a Monday night around 7pm. There were seating at the bar but because we had minors, we couldn't sit there. Outdoor seating with heat lamps are available but it's Portland in the winter so we waited about 15 minutes for an indoor table. It's not bad at all but the restaurant is small so I can imagine a wait on a Friday night or weekends. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food was great! I'm not normally even a pizza person but being from out of state, Portland is known for their pizza and I can see why. The pizza here is amazing! They also have a large selection of cocktails, mocktails, and craft beers. Street parking was easy in the neighborhood. After our meal, our server gave us gummy pizzas to give to the kids as a treat if we choose. I really appreciate these small thoughtful things a business considers for their guests. We hope to come back the next time we're in town!

It's the kind of spot you want someone to recommend when you're out of depth in a new city. It's the kind of spot you wish would open up in your own neighborhood. Cozy, welcoming, why not grab a spot at the bar? With kind, beaming service, and inviting aromas reaching out to the patio, there aren't enough superlatives. The jalapeño poppers (as has been mentioned) are outstanding, and worth a trip on their own, but don't miss out on the pizza. It may be tempting with a stacked salads and apps menu, all packed with local and seasonal choices, but seriously: order a pizza. The crust is a gold star among crusts, strong enough to hold a generous spread of toppings, but still snapping and cracking throughout the (I already said cozy) intimate dining room. I'm here for just a few days on this trip, and I'd hoped to try a wide variety of locations, but I'm stuck, you see. I didn't try the wings. I didn't try the panna cotta. The other places will understand; I'll try to swing by them next time I'm around.

Pizza and a beer..what could be better?!?!

Loved the food, the drinks and the staff! Would love to put this bar in my Pocket and carry it around with me wherever I go!! 100% will return! Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, the service was fabulous, & the ambiance was truly so warm and welcoming, we were visiting my mother in law in her new home nearby and stopped in for a dinner and the playlist and soft lighting and lil teacup candles brought to the table was all immaculate!

Quaint little spot that has little more than salads and pizza and adult beverages for anyone's taste. We ordered the prosciutto pizza which has a garlic sauce on it with goat cheese and a honey drizzle. The service is quick and extremely good.

Always Thursday but Chef Nate will often do lasagna over the weekend and sneak in some dishes other days. Best to check the website around 4:30, it will be listed. See you next time!

I did wish the crude had a little more citrus, but overall delicious. Mentaiko udon was soo well done, but honestly more garlicky than mentaiko in flavor (not that I'm comaining). Lobster bao was a cool concept but nothing crazy fancy. The NA mocktail was on the bitter side and personally not for me as a sweet tooth person.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

We came to Teardrop Cocktail Lounge while visiting Portland and were genuinely impressed…read more The cocktails were excellent -- thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who know what they're doing. One of the best parts was how approachable the bartenders were. We asked for custom drinks based on our preferences, and both came out perfectly tailored. Creative without being weird, and strong without being sloppy. What really stood out was the price point. For the quality of cocktails, the prices felt very reasonable compared to similar craft cocktail bars in other cities. The vibe was also great -- relaxed, cozy, and not pretentious. It felt like a place where you could come for a special drink experience without feeling like you had to "perform" or order off a rigid menu. We liked it so much we actually came back a second time during our trip. Highly recommend if you're into well-crafted cocktails, friendly bartenders, and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere.
