No clean up after the job is complete? Do all customers have to clean up after Binswanger? The installer had access to AND was in the inside and outside of the house yet... (see picture). Unacceptable. (nevermind the ancient curling wallpaper) Then there was this too... I was under the impression I would receive a full 23" round window. This was my inquiry over the phone with the rep and with the 2 guys who came over to provide the estimate. A few days later a 3rd guy shows up to replace the window. He was confused why I would replace just one piece of the Opaque window with Clear glass. I was confused at his confusion. I said the whole thing is going to be replaced with clear. He says the order is for just one quarter of the circle due to the window framing. What?!? This was never explained to me by the 2 guys who came over and inspected the job. I was very clear that the whole circle was to be replaced with clear glass. Long story short $290.20 gets you 1/4 of a 23" window, and due to urgency I had to get it reordered in the opaque to match the other panels. I'm not sure why Yelp has censored so many good reviews for this company. I needed 3 mirrors for a bathroom remodel, two of which needed outlet cut outs and they came out the next day to measure and gave me a same day quote. My mirrors were ready to install in 2 days and the process took less than an hour. They turned out great and the installers Tim and Josh were very professional and nice. I had a time window of 1-4 for them to come out and measure, and they showed up a few hours early. And to install I had a window of 8-12 and they showed up right at 8. read more

Used this company on a shower installation. They send out their measurement guy and then two weeks later when they arrive, the shower glass door is cut wrong and it's another two weeks. No apologies, I had to explain to my customer what happen and keep them calm and nothing from this glass company. Then when it's finally installed I told them I was send them a business check for final payment. But then, one day after install and without my authorization they pulled up my card from a previous transaction and ran the payment anyway!! I requested a quote to replace the glass in the windows at the back of my house with Low E glass. The reputable company I ultimately hired quoted $4K. Binswanger quoted $12K for the exact same thing. That's a pretty big gap. read more

The folks in the auto glass department were extremely helpful to my husband and me when we were in a desperate situation. We spent the night in a hotel close to DFW airport before an early flight and when we went out the next morning ready to leave on our week long trip we found the driver's side window on our vehicle smashed in and glass everywhere. With not much time to deal with the situation before our flight we placed a desperate call to Binswanger Glass and they agreed to replace the window at the parking lot where we'd planned to leave the car. True to their word the technician called the following day to report that the glass was replaced, which greatly relieved our anxiety. Kudos to them! Their help was greatly appreciated. read more

I was appalled about how rude the employees were. The tried to punch you around and the people were very pushing about things on the phone. They made it seem like we were not worth their time on the phone and in person. DO NOT GO HERE. Awful service! But the glad came out right but not worth the disrespect. One gentleman said we could order just the glass and install it ourselves. He was so kind and helpful. He said he couldn't quote us a price so another gentlemen came over and was very aggressive and down right RUDE! Said it would be $1600-$1700 to cut/install 1 panel and the shower door ( the other two side to my shower are tiled. Almost $2K? Seriously? Do not use these people. The front desk is rude on the phone and in person. I bought 2 frameless shower doors, they were installed and guess what the doors are to heavy. They will need hardware for both doors which makes it a frame shower. Still waiting on my parts.Started this process April 12 2017 and it's July 10 2017. Greg has not been any help. read more

Binswanger Glass has been at this location for years. My folks went there when I was a kid, and I have continued to use their service. 4 years ago my husband and I did a major bathroom overhaul which included replacing a 48 x 48 plastic old plastic window with a heat resistant, fogged glass. We recently noticed the aura borealis taking place daily in the glass. Contacted Binswanger since the glass is still under warranty. No service at all...will not come out and look at this high-dollar glass. STAY AWAY! Spend your money elsewhere like Lanham. read more

Outstanding. I tried to find a replacement shower sweep at the big box stores and they referred me to Binswanger. They had a couple of sizes and I guessed wrong (my fault, not theirs). Thankfully, with their Saturday hours, I was able to go in and swap out for the right size without any problem. Additionally, we had a very large piece of glass to cut. Their personnel came out to the vehicle to get it. They cut it while we waited and the price was right too. Great service consistently. read more

Had them come out and measure windows for an estimate. We wanted the living room done where we had some broken seals. The 2 guys that did this were great and very nice. We did ask if they could measure all of the windows, and do it by area of the home. That way we could determine if we could afford to replace all of the windows on the front of the house at the same time. They said they could write it all down by area of the home so the estimate would be by area. 2 days later I get a call with my estimate, and it's a total price. The guy says that's how he does it, and can't give by area of the house. So it looks like all of that measuring was a big waste of time. read more
