This place is good, but the people who work here, they are horrible. The woman in the front desk with dark skin and curly hair was very racist. She did not want to treat me well or my dad, my dad does not speak English very well, so she tried to make fun of him and treat him different in front of others. She should be fired. Now it's impossible to donate there, I was there for 2 days in a roll and they sent me home, I was waiting for 1h30 in line to do the vitals, and they said after 7:30 pm if you are still in line you have to go home and come back another day. They take appointments until 7pm but you can not stay past 7:30pm, it doesn't make any sense. That's absurd and so disrespectful to people's time. read more

I used to donate plasma at the Good Homes Rd location in Orlando during covid because of the shortage. I did it for a few months and then stopped. During that time there was always plenty of staff and you were taken right in at your appt time. I recently got an email saying that there is still a plasma shortage so I went back to donate. Had to get a blood draw, wait 10 days, and then get a physical. Everything seemed to be fine. I went to do my first donation a few days after the physical and that's when I realized appt times are meaningless. There was only one section open due to staffing shortages and there were 21 people waiting in line and every chair was in use. When I asked how long they estimated my wait to be they told me it could be 2-4 hours. I left and came back a few days later with another appt and there were 17 ppl in line waiting this time. I left and have no plans to return. Maybe this is why there is a nationwide plasma shortage. read more

I been there in the past they have a waiting room like I said I been there with my daughter before never had a problem others go with kids or even there spouse they stay in the waiting room but today I went and the lady in the front the same lady that always has a problem with my mask looked at my daughter said you going to donate I reply saying no she only 16 as I walked up to give my info she quickly said she needs to get out I looked at her reply saying she been before it's not her 1st time aswell just like others she sit and wait difference is iam a single father so I don't understand she has a mask and all this lady said and not my problem with covid she not going to be here looked at me said clearly before you have to say it I will I get the manager now I would like for everyone to understand why I got upset iam not a Ken or a Karen I may look white but iam really hispanic I don't need to talk to a manager it's just this same lady african decent gives problem too she always has something to say about my mask or about my shirts being long something she decided to get the manager that didn't even let me talk so when I did talk I informed him the reason people leaving cause of her she choose my the look of people I always have a problem with her when I go to this location I prefer going to another location or even a diffrent company in general cause of HER and the manager didn't care he just walked away now remember they say about covid but non of them had a mask on nice way of loosing another client. read more

I tried donating today and it was a complete waste of my time! I called over 30 times trying to figure out why I couldn't create an appointment to donate plasma. They pick up the phone and ask you to wait on hold only to be disconnected a few minutes later. But I still decided to go to this center to donate anyway. When I finally got there they tell me I can't donate because of abnormal protein levels that they tested a week ago from a blood sample. Why they couldn't call me and let me know so I wouldn't waste my time? Why couldn't they just answer my phone call? This waste of time could have been avoided. Then they decide to tell me they want another blood sample for free. Nothing in life is free. I'll never go to BioLife again. I never, ever have this problem with Biomat Orlando. I even got compensated more at Biomat in Orlando. Why donate plasma and get compensated $20 when you could go to Biomat and get compensated $50? This goes for return donors. Now If you're a new donor, even better. Biomat compensates $100 per donation for the first 4 donations! What a huge diff read more

Terrible customer service! I tried to call to get my location changed and they lady answering the phone contiuned to answer the phone and put me on hold straight away. After staying on hold each time I called for around 30 minutes or so the call would mysteriously hang up. read more

I've had an overall good experience at this place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. But the lady with short hair at the front desk... she has no clue about what great customer service looks like. The masks make it more difficult for you to listen when someone talks to you, so of course they would have to repeat themselves. Well... this lady gets upset if you don't hear her and acts very unprofessional and disrespectful. I told my sister about this place so she went to check it out, she doesn't speak good English but this lady does speak Spanish, however,she acted like she didn't. She took my sister's ID and made her wait in a room. My sister saw people coming in and out and she was never called. She asks her why is it taking so long if her appointment was at 4:50 and it was almost 7 o'clock. This lady said "oh, you're waiting there? Yeah I'm sorry we're just waiting for a Spanish speaker" UNBELIEVABLE. She speaks Spanish because I've personally spoken Spanish to her before, but I guess she thinks she's better than anyone else. Anyways, my sister left without donating because by the time they called her, they were already closing so they didn't have time to take her blood. read more

Only use this company if you're an extreme couponer. They claim/advertise good money, but that is based on time-limited coupons and tough to complete hurdles. For example, you only have 30 days to complete your first 5 donations or you do not receive the extra money. Get a cold or have to take the kids to practice one day and it costs you several hundred dollars. In addition, you have to watch the app like a hawk to get an appointment and stay on top of coupons. In addition, their people provide misleading/incomplete information. I asked the front desk how much I would be paid and was told $70. However, I only got $20. The manager said that the front person was wrong and their information is not final. She also stressed reading the fine print on the coupons - a sure sign of a questionable company is its emphasis on "fine print" exclusions, exemptions, and limitations. read more

It's a great service if you need extra cash. However, they are under staffed. The poor employees are over worked and expected to do a lot. With the current promotion they have they should have prepared better. If you don't get there early to donate be prepared to wait for hours!! The employees have all been nice to me and I've been going to this location since October 2020. Over all I would recommend it. read more

I had an appointment at 12:20 and didn't get seen until 4:30 just to be told my vein was not viable. I went to a different place 30 minutes later and they had no issue finding or using a vein. Very unorganized place and will not be returning. read more

I had an appointment for 1130, checked in a few minutes early, they took my IDs and told me to have a seat. Wasn't acknowledged for a half hour. Went to check with the front desk, he couldn't tell me why I hadn't been help at all. It's set up like a human harvest factory in the building just one big room where you can see the donations happening as soon as you walk in. I left without donating. read more
