I made my initial donation on 4/16/23, the process was lengthy and slightly unorganized as expected. The staff was friendly but the process of entering my information into their system was plagued with misinformation, typographical errors, and a serious breakdown in communication between the cross-functional staff. After several trips to the donor bed and back to the customer service desk I was finally able to proceed with my donation after approximately 3.6 hours only to experience a tsunami of denials with the BPl-issued debit card. My first (5) ATM withdrawals of $70 were denied with a message stating to call my financial institution The balance indicated the desired amounts were available but untenable. Resolution to my issues were further exacerbated by an extreme communication barrier with an unknowledgable customer service agent. Who only stated that my issue would be escalated to a specialty team within (1) business day." After finally gaining access to my funds I was then on (3) separate occasions denied sales approval at the point of sale register. There is an immediate need to reevaluate and correct all the technical issues with this financial institution. read more

This is the absolute WORST! I went here bc they offered the smallpox vaccine incentive, but learned you must first donate 2-3 times BEFORE the smallpox vaccine incentive. Ok, I was willing. The 1st visit- nobody seems to man the "customer service" desk, I arrived 5-10 minutes after opening and went directly to the customer service desk where I stood waiting for 10 minutes before a very bored looking technician asked if I need d something!? She got another sad/bored employee to help me. No one in this place looks happy, there is NO music, I went in February and the remnants of old Xmas decor was still partially taped to various places on the wall. I've gone 3 times now, every time the technician (always a different one) jabs the needle in my arm... then starts "threading" the needle in my vein!! The last time I was there: 4-5 "suits" there waiting for a manager, the kiosk dirty and looks like syrup on it (at opening), rude tech doing vitals calling out my weight, and while donating, a technician named something like Janeka (?) bummed my corner donation bed so hard, it shifted about 6" and she never apologized or checked if everything was okay! NO ONE is happy here.. not employees or donors! I'd rather go back to BioLife... not as much $$ but the employees are always so sweet, the place is spotless and music is always playing! My boyfriend who went here to get his plasma donated had a horrible experience. Overall the beginning process went smoothly besides the managers being rude the whole time. But when the "nurse" who put the needle in his arm, completely missed his vein and DUG the needle around in his arm for a minute, and had to have someone else re poke him to find it! This resulted in him developing a hematoma, along with sever bruising and pain! You would think a plasma donation center would have professionals to do the procedure but don't be surprised if you're next. read more

What a wonderful atmosphere and amazing ppl working there , Kiki is above and beyond so fast so attentive and gorgeous inside and out , Melissa is just amazing and made everything smooth , Kath is just energizer and fun to be around super professional ! So sad to see this place in last 2-3 weeks , short with staff in the morning and no music anymore , it's so depressing in there even workers acting differently ! The Orlando location on Colonial Dr. is a playground for unprofessional employees. No TV's instead rude rap music, Employees more interested in lunch and gossip. No management available and never paid correctly, which happens weekly! (6 weeks in a row) I also should not have to wait 30-60 minutes to check in or wait that long to be removed while your children are playing. Not worth the 60.00 dollars for over 3-4 hours of my time!!!! I watch a 46 year old black man run around with a light bulb in his hand, doing nothing (Mike?) I knew he was 46 because he was yelling about large people ordering fast food, a diet coke and at his age, he knew better. Either pay your employees better or have a real manager on site. read more

Ridiculous Opening time 6 am. Yeah right! Donors in line right now at 6 15 am freezing. Doors locked. Staff sitting inside. This place can't pay a sufficient wage because their employees are calling out or excessively late at least 2 Saturdays a month. After we stand out here freezing, we get deferred for having a low body temperature. Upwards of $3,000 these places get for a single bottle of plasma. They are so greedy they won't pay their staff OR their donors a decent amount. This place is bottom of the barrel. If people weren't so desperate to make it this place wouldn't be open. read more

I am very tired of being discriminated for have a "Yes" question on the Kiosk. Often times it takes me more that 1/2 hour just to get a medical person to address this issue. There is never someone available. Horrible treatment of donors. The one medical ass. is such a bitch. From now on I plan on remaining in the booth until someone fixes the yes questions. Either fix the kiosk or your process. I try to come early, but nothing helps me get through the intake process in a reasonable amount of time. Also those waiting in line appear pissed when after the yes questions are fixed and I go back to the front of the line. I really feel this process is putting me at risk of harm. Please do not single "yes" questions donors differently than any other donor. I even said something to the manager. Another person that doesn't care about the donors only the money. They blow my vein up!!! This is by far the worst plasma center experience I've ever had. Don't waste your valuable time. Your time is too valuable to waste here. Wostxperince of my life. The staff is horrible. They return information and they are not valuing people's time. They prey on elderly. They took advantage of my parents, (who don't do it for the money) and they've been coming forever. They still owe them for two plasma collections from last month. Nice building, though. I spent 4 1/2 hours there and never made it to the donation room, from the time I signed in to when someone called my name was 1 hour 20 minutes , I presented my id and other documents and was told to take a seat, 40 minutes later I was called to a room to reverify my documents and was told to take a seat, then I was called to the nation room so they could see which arm would work for a vein then I was told to take a seat, then I was called to another room to fill out a medical questionnaire and I was told they would be right back, I sat in this room for 35 minutes before someone came in the room and asked me who am I and why am I in the room, they told me to go to the waiting room and take a seat, 35 minutes later they called me to draw blood then they told me to take a seat, when I reached the 4 1/2 hour wait time I walked out and the donor card has a zero balance. Wish I could give zero stars. So incredibly unprofessional, wait time is always multiple hours and if ur a new donor just forget about it. Everyone who works here acts like it's a game and act like children playing in a classroom. Today was my last day ever coming. Waiting 2 hours in line just to be told I have to see the doctor about a bruise that was CAUSED by them during my last donation. I have been waiting now for a doctor for another hour just for them to say go ahead ur fine. The manager already said I was fine to donate too. Horrible experience!! I went here to enroll in the plasma small pox study. My first visit was fine with the exception they were very unorganized. On my 3 visit I get there and there is no line to do vitals . Get through fast. But then I get to the waiting area to be taken back to give and saw there were like 7 employees in the break room and only 3 on the donor floor . Only had 4 donors giving plasma . There were like 15 people waiting to go back . One guy said he had been there for hours . I waited 45 mins and left . My time is valuable to me and not worth the 75 they were paying . No management in sight . They also never answer the phone . Don't Easter your time here . I have been to all the plasma places and by far the worst one . read more

They will never answer their phone I have been calling for 5 days straight and all day long and not one time out of 45 calls have they answered, and when you walk in they are doing nothing but talking to each other I say down in the waiting area and called and both of the girls there just let the phone ring and continued to talk and never answered. They need a more professional staff indeed. read more

I've been coming here from 2 years. I actually moved further away and still make the drive even though I have plasma centers closer. I think the staff is plenty friendly. And they have always taken good care of me. They stay pretty busy so sometimes there is a decent wait. But the process is pretty quick and easy. read more
