Oat milk latte is as yum!
Kelly R.

Staff were super personable ...cashier and baristas..and so on top of things! My oat milk late was delish as well. Appreciated this little mid-day pick me up/overall treat!

Extremely fast service! Ordered at 8:49 a.m, drinks ready 3 minutes later with a line out the door. Iced Dirty Horchata - tastes just like horchata. Ratio of coffee to cinnamon was perfect. Very refreshing Iced Left Coast - the house-made salted caramel was great. Drink was smooth and not drowning in sugar! Plenty of seating inside and out. Music was at the perfect volume. Definitely recommend for a group meet up

Yummy breakfast croissant and a honey latte

Definitely a fantastic place to grab a coffee. The staff is SUPER friendly. The vibe is so fun. The coffee is delicious, better than Starbucks, Black Rock & Better Buzz. This location has a lovely outside patio to chill on and the restrooms are clean. But again, the staff is the shining stars, just really friendly, like family.

Lovely latte

I'm testing a new theory...and it's that anyone who is willing to invest in a Slayer espresso machine, they care a lot about their beans. So stop six on my Slayer-theory tour is Bird Rock Coffee roasters. And so far, my theory is testing true. Had it not been for Reddit, I wouldn't have given Bird Rock a glance. This location at the time of writing only has a 3.7 on Yelp. 3.7 is a sign that the wheels are coming off...but in my experience, Bird Rock checks all the boxes. They have a ton of in-house roasts, they care about their product, their customer service was good... I dunno- I see that some people complain about the food but I'm here for what the name on the building says they do, COFFEE. And the Monkey Bite house espresso is delicious. It's some of the best I've tried in North County. I also picked up a bag of their El Eden Peruvian single-origin bean to try at home so that's on me to see if I can get it dialed in. I say, this is worth your time. There are a lot of great coffee shops in North County, and now I can add Bird Rock to that list now too.

First time here

My friend took me here on an afternoon The people who work here are super Duper kind, and I find the spot to be cleaner than most cafes. I got a cappuccino and it was made very well with great flavor and you can tell that they clean their espresso machine I also enjoyed all their syrups Will be coming back

Iced Americano. Good stuff. Dirty car not included.

The coffee and service are excellent. The avocado toast, which is loaded with avocado, tomatoes, and arugula, is beautiful and is a full meal. They have a vety nice food menu and the breakfast burritos sound great, although I've never tried them. I c am still a fan of Peet's but Bird Rock is very good.

Coffee : 8/10 *I checked these guys out at the coffee expo 2024 & they had some pretty rad espresso blends. I decided to go in & try some of their lattes (The Sandpiper & Honey B Latte) & they were pretty good, creamy lattes. I'd definitely come back and try some other lattes or even their on tap cold brews. Service: 9/10 *I went in around lunch time and they were pretty busy. The staff were kind and helpful onto which lattes to choose from/would fit my preferences. Coffee Shop Vibe: 5/10 *The shop is pretty small & VERY crowded as you walk in. It is fairly loud so it's definitely not a place to have a cup of coffee with a partner or friend - or to even study (as everything is loud). Very busy foot traffic & wouldn't want to dine in. Also- the menu was really hard to read as the glare outside hit the TV screens making it impossible to look at. Overall rating: 7/10

iced sandpiper latte w oatmilk

This coffee spot is great in all aspects. Interior design reflects the goals and mission of bird rock the company, the location is ideal, and there is always seating available with wifi and outlets (perfect for studying). i always get an iced sandpiper latte w oatmilk or almond milk here and am never disappointed in the quality of my drink. the folks are really cool here and the service always works out well. If you are in the area and need a spot to study and have a cup of coffee this is your spot!!

I love it when the barista make latte art on top of the coffee. The coffee is really good~~~

The photo shows a sweet note the chef left for me when ordering a sandwich.

I didn't care for the Little Italy blend, but I love the Kagumoini AA! Needs nothing added and delicious in a French press.

The boss burrito is great! But the coffee isn't as good as others. Please fix your coffee because I can taste the acidity of it.

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. I really liked what I can only assume is their in house syrup. Think Starbucks pistachio latte, but two times better. This coffee place is for those who don't do Starbucks. Vanilla flat white was just as good. I would say Carlsbad for coffee this place is a must stop.

Hiya B.U.M.S., Let's…read moreget something out of the way first: I don't like coffee. I know, I know. It's a latte to take in. My wife, on the other hand, is a total caffeine fiend. But here's the kicker--she orders her coffee plain, simple, and black. To me? It tastes exactly like every other coffee in the world. (Don't bean me, it's just the truth!) Despite my lack of enthusiasm for bean water, we recently checked out Revolution Roasters, and I figured it was time to espresso my thoughts on the place. Spoiler alert: It was a pretty brew-tiful experience. Since I'm not a coffee guy, I let my wife handle the beverage department. She ordered an Iced Cold Brew and gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up. She said it was really good, which means Revolution Roasters is definitely doing something right to keep the coffee purists happy. Now, onto my territory, the White Chocolate Scone was a hit with the wife because it wasn't too sweet. If you prefer your pastries without a side of sugar shock, this is the one for you. However, full disclosure: if you're standing there debating between this scone and the savory pot pie from the shop right across the way... I'm going with the pot pie. Sorry, scone. I also ordered the Berry & Cream Cheese Toast, which was the real MVP. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, and they nailed the ratio. There was a perfectly even, generous spread of cream cheese and berry topping. Highly recommend! Revolution Roasters is located in a super cool, market-style space filled with other neat little shops. It makes for a great, lively atmosphere. When we walked in, the line was pretty long--clearly, the secret is out. But don't let a crowd deter you! The service was incredibly smooth and helpful, and they've got the operation down to a science. Plus, despite the crowd, there was actually adequate seating for a ton of people. We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

I was a little confused when Waze led me to an office parking area where I spotted an umbrella and what looked like a coffee stand. Undeterred, I parked and ventured over. It was the most unique, unusual and memorable coffee experience I've ever had. This place is for true coffee and espresso aficionados. The man working the kiosk referred to the place as a wine bar for coffee as the coffee is prepared, discussed and poured the same way fine wine is. If you love Starbucks, do not go here! If you love thoughtfully and artfully well prepared single Origen coffee, this place should not be missed. Ideally, the coffee should be ordered, prepared and consumed without dairy products so that you truly taste, experience and enjoy all the flavors. Ideally, it would be best to purchase a pour over, and they have a menu dedicated to them. It should be on every coffee and espresso addicts must go to list. I highly recommend it and I'm excited to enjoy the beans I bought at home.
