Delicious food and good drinks. Really nice atmosphere, both in and out. Service was a little slow tonight.

Hidden gem! Loved the theme, ambiance, and food. The rooftop was magical. Visiting from Chicago, I felt at home. Andrew's service was outstanding. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful place for cocktails in a relaxed, quiet setting. The outside terrace was almost full but we ordered at the bar and found a seat on the rail. We didn't try the food, but the servers seemed friendly friendly and attentive to those who were dining. There was a nice fire going, sofa seating, as well as hightop tables and larger round tables. Lots of seating available inside. Just take the elevator from the lobby to the 5th floor.

The rooftop outdoor seating area is great. One of the best in FW. Drinks were delicious. Service was great, Tia was very attentive and friendly. Food was disappointing-- pretty bland and expensive if you ask me. Will come again for drinks and atmosphere but will skip dinner here in the future.

Stayed at Bradley. Decided on their bar option on the rooftop. Bad decision. Food was really marginal. Brussel sprouts were too greasy. Flavor was good. Serving size was generous and probably too much for one person. Deviled eggs were just ok. These are meant to be shareable. Maybe a 1/2 portion for one person would be a good idea. Shrimp Caesar salad with shrimp came with a dirty shrimp and dressing was too bland.

I have been wanting to try this place out. I am originally from Fort Wayne and come back for a visit every summer. The rooftop is beautifully designed with great views of downtown. As we had dinner reservations at Paula's, we opted for a few appetizers and drinks at Birdies. All were really good! I did really like all that we got, including the drinks. It did take a while to get drinks but all in all a great experience and got to catch up with friends!

Very cute and trendy restaurant. As others reviewers have said, it's located on the roof of The Bradley Hotel. They have a pretty small menu and I was with 3 others who can be somewhat picky but they were in charge of deciding so I rolled with it. We made a reservation but it wasn't very busy. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated even though we have the reservation and they weren't busy and seemed well staffed for the situation. Our waitress took our order quickly and we got a few drinks. The mixed drinks were ok but a little too different than our usual taste. We got the Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese bites for an apand they were incredible. Both very good flavor and the dip for the Mac and cheese bites was a perfect pair. My chicken tacos were awesome. My husband's fish tacos were fine but he said he'd get chicken next time after trying mine. The skirt steak was fine as well but wouldn't be my first pick. I'd love to go back to enjoy the outside part of the rooftop or when they have it open. Good place to venture into if you want something a little different!

Fried Chicken Sandwich with Pimento Cheese & Pepper Jelly

We had a really great experience at Birdie's last weekend! Birdie's is located on the top floor of The Bradley hotel. There seems to be no dedicated parking, so we recommend parking on the street and entering the main lobby of hotel. Concierge will point you to the elevators. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, cheeseburger sliders, mac n cini bites, and fried chicken sandwich! Our favorites were the brussels and the sliders by far. I didn't take a picture of the sliders, but they were so good. I ordered this as my entree! Both the sliders and the fried chicken sandwich came with what seemed to be, to us anyways, plain Lays potato chips which we thought was weird/brought the dishes down a level. We did ask for a side of the fries (they have them for $8 as an appetizer) and we were sorely disappointed. There was nothing special about them at all, so I'm not sure why they have those as an appetizer, save for the garlic aioli which was delicious. We made a reservation ahead of time on a weeknight. Our server was Zach, and he was so friendly/gave great recommendations.

The atmosphere at Birdie's is top tier. However, the food is very average for the cost. We got an order of the fries to share and all enjoyed them. We got the chicken, but it was a chicken thigh and somewhat tough. The curry was a little bland. The pork sliders were good, but somewhat small quantity. The salmon cakes were good, but pretty fishy tasting. I've also had the ahi tuna here before and it is good, but prepare for a large quantity of tuna. We've also gotten the burger before and it is a good option if you're struggling to make a selection. I would love to see them bring back the tacos and deviled eggs. Service was a little slow, but once we ordered we got our food quickly. Staff was very friendly! The hostess even came and checked on us at one point which was sweet

making my Yelp debut with this one because it was just that amazing! I have a feeling birdie's is going to become very popular in FW, especially with THAT PATIO in the summer. the inside is so cute & trendy and my cocktail was pretty & delicious as well! don't sleep on birdie's, y'all. I'll definitely be back with friends.

Ask the Community - Birdie’s

Can you smoke on the rooftop? Cigars?

I'm not sure, but when we were there nobody was.

Is this place kid friendly?

It could be. The outside seating is not in the bar. The menu isn't made for kids. I don't think they have a kids menu that I can recall.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

But then you're presented with this shiny chandelier, illuminating this wide chamber, and hovering over a smooth, curved bar. The sides of this huge dining space are lined with dining tables, and walls lined with artwork, making the name quite appropriate. Subtle haloes of light dot the ceiling, and the color palette of the place (besides that big ol' chandelier) is dark, cool, and easy on the eyes. I took a seat at the main bar and was served within minutes. I enjoyed some light pop, rap, and classic rock tunes bumping in the background while I sipped on a delightful Smoked Apple Reserve. Every sip was a punch of sweetness, followed by an air of smokiness, and just a splash of herby aftertaste. It was however, not the kind of drink you could chug, so I sipped slowly throughout my meal. I'll have to come back for the appetizers, as I hear they're the star of the show, but neither the flatbreads nor the traditional bar-fare excited me. Thanks to Yelp though, I learned of the Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, which I'd initially dismissed due to my dislike of Brie - the cheese and her portrayal of Captain Marvel, let's be honest. But I gave it a chance and ~woah~ it was something else. First of all, it's a perfectly cooked grilled cheese, with a flaky, crunchy exterior and addictingly cheesy inside, however I was ~taken aback~ by the flavor. I think I honestly had a Ratatouille moment, where that flavor of berry compote transported me to my childhood, chowing down on blueberry pancakes on Friday morning before school. At the same time, it doesn't dominate the flavor profile - it adds a subtle and satisfying sweetness to the creamy richness of the melted Brie, and it does it oh so well. The plentiful pieces of proscuitto provided some palatable protein, while also being a contrast in flavor and feel to the Berry and Brie. The fries were a little heavy on the straight potato flavor and not so much on seasoning and salt, but some garlic aioli did the trick there. The service was superb and the atmosphere was nothing like I've experienced in this city. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did, but I can't wait to come back to try more apps, drinks, and return to that beautiful blueberry and brie...

Spoke + Ivy (west Main Street, FW) - another locally unique dinning experience that deserves a try…read more Spoke + Ivy is located on west Main Street - across the parking lot from Redwood Inn restaurant, if that helps. This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.

We were seated in a very awkward corner table for two where the tables were really close together. Since it was our Valentine's celebration, I would have been uncomfortable with the tables next to us having people at them because it didn't give you any privacy or space for private conversation. We did not get drinks or appetizers. Our meals were very good (salmon and chicken). The server was good but didn't refill my water and that' a big deal to me. Also, it's supposed to be an upscale place and they were out of paper towels in the bathroom. I feel like that is just basic service they should check on regularly.
