The unwillingness to even try to locate the transaction or offer another solution was incredibly frustrating. The sale was buy one get one 1/2 off -- which is a good deal. So yes, I bought two pair. The cashier was nice. He made sure I signed up for the rewards program. Which gets you discounts and such. The salesperson, who had a European accent, ordered the color my mother wanted and told us she could modify the insert for approximately $30-$40. About two weeks later, we returned to pick up the sandals. At that point, my mother purchased an additional insert, costing approximately $200. The total purchase came to $549.53. She repeatedly assured us not to worry and said she would "make it right." Unfortunately, when my mother got home, she immediately noticed that the sandals did not fit or feel like her original pair and was very unhappy with them. We returned to the store and requested a refund. The salesperson initially resisted the refund and repeatedly told us that she would lose money if she refunded the purchase. I explained that this was not an appropriate way to treat a 90-year-old customer and that we would dispute the charge if necessary. She eventually agreed to take back the sandals and the expensive insert, but she still charged my mother more than $90 for the original modification. I asked to see exactly what had been done to the sandal. What I saw was essentially a small piece of cotton with a small piece of rubber attached to it. I was shocked that we were being charged more than $90 for this. The salesperson claimed it took her approximately 30 minutes to install it. I personally witnessed the work, and it took approximately five minutes. She also refused to refund that $90 charge and would not allow us to take the piece of material with us. We are now in the process of disputing that portion of the charge. The issue here isn't simply the money. It's the way the situation was handled. My mother is 90 years old, and we expected honest pricing, good customer service, and a willingness to make things right when the product didn't work for her. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We left feeling that my mother had been taken advantage of, and I cannot recommend this shop based on our experience.

I have learned they will not stand behind the products they sell with a fit warranty. Note to consumers: Buy direct from Nike where they stand behind their product, worn or not, for 60 days.
