I am a…read moremiddle-aged female in need of a high-quality running shoe to invigorate my new workout regimen and I had the joy of meeting Sky. He greeted me kindly and listened to my situation. He was as friendly as he was knowledgeable. I took a while trying to find a shoe that worked for me, but he wasn't pushy and he made me feel like he valued my opinion and prioritized my needs. At one point there was four shoppers, and only himself, and he never left me (or the other clients) hanging. Yesterday I went to a shoe store in Solana Beach on 101 that treated me like dirt, so this was quite a pleasant contrast. Thank you Sky, and I will bring myself and my family back when we need new kicks.

When we first arrived, we had to wait about 15 minutes because the salesperson was late opening the store. My mother was looking for a pair of sandals in the exact same style and color as a pair she has owned for many years. The salesperson, who had a European accent, ordered the color my mother wanted and told us she could modify the insert for approximately $30-$40. About two weeks later, we returned to pick up the sandals. At that point, my mother purchased an additional insert, costing approximately $200. The total purchase came to $549.53. She repeatedly assured us not to worry and said she would "make it right." Unfortunately, when my mother got home, she immediately noticed that the sandals did not fit or feel like her original pair and was very unhappy with them. We returned to the store and requested a refund. The salesperson initially resisted the refund and repeatedly told us that she would lose money if she refunded the purchase. I explained that this was not an appropriate way to treat a 90-year-old customer and that we would dispute the charge if necessary. She eventually agreed to take back the sandals and the expensive insert, but she still charged my mother more than $90 for the original modification. I asked to see exactly what had been done to the sandal. What I saw was essentially a small piece of cotton with a small piece of rubber attached to it. I was shocked that we were being charged more than $90 for this. The salesperson claimed it took her approximately 30 minutes to install it. I personally witnessed the work, and it took approximately five minutes. She also refused to refund that $90 charge and would not allow us to take the piece of material with us. We are now in the process of disputing that portion of the charge. The issue here isn't simply the money. It's the way the situation was handled. My mother is 90 years old, and we expected honest pricing, good customer service, and a willingness to make things right when the product didn't work for her. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We left feeling that my mother had been taken advantage of, and I cannot recommend this shop based on our experience.

But I did go today and spend $200 on a pair of shoes and I'll bring my family of four (including 2 young teens) to a shoe store in Encinitas even though they sell the same product at the same price over 5 miles away...... I really wanted to support local. But clearly the employees don't care about service.

The next day I drove 35 minutes to the store, only for an employee to tell me "Oh yeah these were cancelled", but I had never received a cancellation email or notification. I was happy to try a different pair and find other options they had currently in stock, but was told I would be put on a wait-list with no other solutions. 2 days later I finally received a cancellation notice. As a loyal customer, I really felt like I was overlooked and the staff member was dismissive. I always went out of my way to shop here, but I think I will take my business elsewhere as they do not seem to appreciate or communicate with their customers.

My mom is always hesitant because most stores never have her shoe size in stock, but Adam patiently listened to her concerns and managed to find three different pairs for her to try. What impressed us most was that all three were styles she never would have considered on her own, yet they were incredibly comfortable and fit her perfectly. There is nothing more important than having comfortable shoes. Our feet support our balance and mobility every day, so finally finding shoes that provided both comfort and style meant the world to her. She was so excited that she immediately changed into her new shoes and wore them for the rest of her vacation, constantly commenting on how comfortable and stylish they were. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome. They had a lot of items I liked. The staff was present in the store, but I had to ask for help. The girl I asked took the time to look up an item I was interested in, but it was mostly sold out in store and online. She said that they could order it but there was a chance they would not get it due to the fact that the online quantity was so limited. I appreciated her candor and did not order the item. I tried on a few items and decided on my purchase. I had heard the previous cashier tell someone that they did not have much change in the register so if the person was paying cash they couldn't take any large bills. When it came time to pay I decided to pay cash, but apparently they had to use a different register for that. I had exact change, so she moved over to the next register. It took her awhile to figure it out and she had to call for help. Eventually, she figured it out but I felt bad for the person waiting behind me. I will definitely be back. They had some really nice items and are not far from me.

I forgot they had my birthday on file so I got an extra discount on top of the sale items and she absolutely made my day. Her energy was so contagious that my friend and I walked out of the store literally beaming. Thanks Stacey!!!

Well, I keep my cash next to my wallet in my pants and I was pretty sure that it was me that dropped the $20 bill. So when I got to my next stop, I looked at my cash and yes, I was missing a $20 bill. I could not believe that any employee would care about a customer and a $20 bill. Superstar. He said he put in an envelope and I could come in and get it tomorrow. Who does that? Connor does that, you talk about earning a customers loyalty while he just did it.
