Birria Master is located on Rosemead Blvd and they have their own parking lot. You can also park on the neighboring streets if you pass the lot. I enjoyed the ramen and quesataco. They accept card and cash. There's 4 tables outside for dine in. There's also a side cart to get self serve sauces and sides. Prices: Quesataco Combo$16 Birria Ramen $18

I thought this was an indoor restaurant when I looked at the photos but it is actually a trailer with seating set up. So if you think you missed the location look for the flags on the street. You turn in and there is some parking in a lot or on the street. I really loved everything here! The birria is soooo delicious! The queso tacos were full of flavor and the soup is just so warm and tasty as well! I will definitely be coming back to this spot!

The guy there is super nice and cooks everything fresh! The consome is very flavorful and rich. The quesataco combo is the best value choice. There is a good amount of seating but it did get busier when I left. The tables are very clean and comfortable.

If you are looking for the gold standard of tacos, look no further. Birria Master is officially in a league of its own. I've tried a lot of spots, but this is hands down the best ever. Here's why you need to drop everything and go: The Food: The tacos are perfection. The meat is incredibly tender, the consommé is rich and flavorful, and everything is seasoned to ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!! The Service: Often, great food comes with a long wait or indifferent service, but not here. The staff is attentive, fast, and genuinely friendly. The Ultimate Test: My baby approved! As any parent knows, if the little one is happy and eating, the place is a winner. It's rare to find a spot that hits the mark for both foodies and families.

There is a very small parking lot with one way in and out. Tables are also limited, but there is a lot more seating than your typical food truck! The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the staff were great. It definitely felt like a locals joint, they were greeting their customers by name. They were just setting up some kind of fresh juice situation as we were leaving, but I definitely want to go back and check that out! I'll definitely be back!

There's a private lot that's small. But most folks would be getting take-out or finish their meal that it's not an issue of space. The whole area is outdoors but within a large canopy. The tables have colorful cloths and there's classic Mexican movies played on the background. It's great for hangouts for being out. The menu is short which is great to avoid choice-paralysis and they do their specialty well. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food arrives at a good pace. They have a toppings bar. I got the quesataco combo. Those were some of the best I've ever had. Hot fresh and really cheesy. I was almost burning my fingers to keep eating them (which was worth it). The addition of the consommé elevates the tacos with a nice kick of flavor. I even got a few sips afterwards just to have more. Definitely recommended. Worth a chance.

THE best birria in town! I've been coming to Alvaro and his team since the very beginning over 3 years ago, and the food has only gotten better. The queso tacos with connsomé are legendary and we love impressing out of town friends with them. There's always a spread of fresh salsas and accouterments, and these salsas are some of the best out there, made with roasted peppers so they're imparted with great, smokey flavors. Make sure to check out Birria Master's IG @BirriaMaster for hours and specials (they'll occasionally experiment with different meats and offerings such as lingua, seafood tostadas, cajun shrimp boil, etc). There's plenty of family style seating as well as parking in the lot and street parking. Catering services are also available so definitely inquire if you're looking to feed your folks at a party or gathering.

I've eaten at Birria Master a few times and every experience has been great. The food always tastes wonderful and if I ever have leftovers they taste even better the next day. In addition to the amazing food, I love that it is a family owned business. I'm really big on customer service and I've had the pleasure of talking with both the owner and his lovey wife. I love the family feel of the atmosphere every time I go. They always take the time to stop and talk to their customers. I love their beef quesadillas and tacos. If you haven't tried it yet, I would highly suggest you do .

    YUMYYYY

This is my wife's and I plates after eating here at Birria master. We found this place coincidentally after searching for other spots. We decided to give it a try and we have been here almost every week in the last three months . The consistency and the texture of the tacos the flavor everything about the preparation of the food has all the ingredients and mouthwatering flavors. This is the only location where my wife and I come to, and this will be the only place that we will come to from here on out.

Best birria in all of SGV. The birria Ramen is delicious. My kids love the birria tacos. They also have the best salsa I have tried. A nice set up with lots of tables/ chairs and a nice canopy and heater for the cold nights. I I need recommend this spot

It's not often that you find a restaurant serving yuzu ramen, and Sato does it exceptionally well. The broth is light, clean, and refreshing, with a wonderful citrus aroma from the yuzu that makes it stand out from the usual tonkotsu and miso ramen options. The yuzu adds a subtle brightness that enhances the soup without overpowering it. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the toppings complemented the broth beautifully. It's the kind of ramen that feels comforting without being heavy, making it a great choice any time of the year. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and the food is consistently good. If you're looking for something different from the typical rich pork-bone ramen, I highly recommend trying the Yuzu Shio Ramen here. We tried the yuzu shio ramen and the karaage chicken curry rice bowl. The yuzu shio ramen was definitely lighter and more citrusy because of the yuzu, which I can appreciate, though it wasn't necessarily my preferred ramen flavor profile. I ordered it with chicken instead of pork, and I really appreciated that the karaage chicken came on the side so it stayed crispy and didn't get soggy in the broth. My partner really enjoyed the karaage chicken curry rice bowl. We also tried the tamagoyaki appetizer for the first time. Interesting flavor profile, but honestly it didn't really pair well with the rest of what we ordered, so we ended up taking most of it home and never really finishing it. Service was attentive and good, and the restaurant had a lively, active atmosphere with a steady crowd inside. Overall, a solid ramen place that's worth trying, especially if you enjoy lighter ramen styles.

Decided to visit and try out their Ramen - I have also been seeing their shaved ice on social media but didn't try it. The prices were pretty expensive for simple bowls of Ramen in my opinion, and we didn't really feel like eating a lot, so we just ordered the vegan Ramen and the silky Ramen ( around $18 for both?). Both of the ramens were pretty mediocre with salty soup and nothing extraordinary about the noodles unfortunately. Compared to other Ramen shops I've visited, Tsujita didn't stand out as excellent. The service was very nice but our food came a little slow. We did come during lunch, where there were a couple people. The restaurant itself is clean with seating and a nice vibe. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

I know they owned Killer Noodle and brought it back for a day or so during some weeks, but still. I feel like I can partly blame those who can't handle spice, numbing or not, and or people with generally normie tastes. Anyways, enough of that diatribe. Parking can get horrible and fisted here, even though there's parking in the pit. The best bet is to just park at the 99 Ranch Market across the street and walk over. This restaurant also gets super busy too and there's limited tables and seating inside for how popular it is. They did collabs too, like the Naruto one. There were instructions on how to properly eat tsukemen and staff was friendly and polite too. I know they tried to make the ambiance a bit nicer and fancier, but with the constant slew of customers and people, you can only do so much. Since it's a tsukemen restaurant, I always just got tsukemen here. I'd get the spicy chashu tsukemen. Comes with a generous portion of chashu pork and is made with their homemade spices. It also comes with a soft boiled egg, a slice of lime to squeeze in for taste, green onions and a sheet nori. After dipping the noodles, you can ask for soup wari to eat the rest of the broth in. It's a delicious and hefty portion and sorta justifies the $30 for a bowl of tsukemen thing. Flavorful broth with a depth of delicious spices. Nice thick noodles that absorb the broth nicely. I like that you get a good amount of chashu. Adding the lime makes the noodles a bit more refreshing if you get a bit tired of the taste. Spicy doesn't make it spicy at all, but at the very least gave a bit of heat to it. There's other Tsujitas out there, just now a bit farther.

After more than a year away, I decided to give Osawa another try on May 8, 2026. Unfortunately, the experience confirmed why I had stopped coming. Around 9:02 p.m., my waiter came by to ask for last orders. I ordered chicken karaage. This is a simple dish that usually comes out in about 4 to 5 minutes. For whatever reason, the order did not arrive until around 9:26 p.m. -- almost 25 minutes later. It seemed obvious that the order had been forgotten. When the karaage finally arrived, it looked hastily sauced. Several parts of the chicken were unsauced, which is not how the dish was normally served in the past. Given the delay and the apparent mishandling, I did not touch the dish. A Japanese male manager wearing glasses then came over. He recognized me, and I explained that I had not been back for more than a year because of the food poisoning incident from fish in 2025. Instead of responding seriously, the manager smiled and giggled slightly, then launched into an irrelevant conversation about his connections in the Japanese food industry in Old Town Pasadena. When he asked why I had not touched the chicken, I explained the almost 30-minute delay and the problems with the dish. Rather than comping the item or offering a real apology, the manager asked whether I still wanted to eat it or would prefer to cancel it. He then ended the conversation by suggesting that I come in during weekday lunch for the $18 lunch specials. That response was bizarre and tone deaf. I did not return after a food poisoning incident to hear a sales pitch about lunch specials. I returned as a longtime customer giving Osawa another chance. Osawa's way of doing business has changed a lot. I've seen better customer service at Erewhon.
