BEST $1 taco tuesday deal in the sgv! Only Al Pastor but the meat and tortilla quality is amazing. Selection of 4 salsas and 4 other bins of sides/toppings. My favorite is pairing the al pastor tacos with the diced pineapples and the roasted pepper salsa. Upon request they grill onions that have a strong lime flavor and it cuts through the greasiness of the tacos. The best tacos in the SGV, point blank period. My go-to are the cabeza tacos! They're a little fatty, which I love. The meats here are well marinated, and you can actually taste the flavor. You don't need salsa to get through the meal, but they add to the overall experience. That's the way I think tacos should be. The price is pretty good as well. Tacos are $2 each and on Tuesdays, al pastor tacos are $1! They also offer nachos (not listed on the menu) that I'm excited to try! Seriously some of the best street tacos in LA. Extremely fresh, clean and so flavorful. The carne asada and pastor are both so tender and delicious, with a great selection of toppings and sauces. Family owned the service is great and staff is sweet. Perfect score for me, unless they are growing the business to bigger and better places please PLEASE never change!! Oh my god. This place is incredible. I almost want to gatekeep it. I wish I could live in the nearby Holiday Inn so I'd be steps away from this place 24/7. Their tacos are SOOOO delicious and the meat is delicious and marinated. Normally taco stands never stand out to me because the meat isn't usually marinated and it feels like you could get it anywhere... But here the meat is so delicious and perfect! I would go out of my way for this. It's such a standout place among all the taco stands I've been to. The people working are really nice too which is always appreciated. We asked for one of their potatoes and they gave us some grilled jalapeños too. I tried the red salsa and the green salsa and the green was my favorite- more mild and not spicy. I got four tacos but three was enough to fill me- they give a lot of meat per taco. You can either get the food prepared for to-go or for eating there. My partner got the pineapple agua fresca and they liked it but tbh it was way too sweet for me so that's the only thing I wouldn't recommend. El Chiquiado are by far the best tacos I've EVER HAD, the husband and wife duo deliver flavors ( ones that a Latin Caribbean palate like mine feels right at home at), like no other. You are received with warmth as soon as you stand in front, feeling not only comfortable but welcomed. My orders of tacos come with a complimentary tortilla with frijoles and a broiled potato, which go perfectly with the long list of fresh topping offered. I have been searching everywhere for a taco stand other than Ave 26 that does the mini potatoes with your order! no more dealing with LA traffic. they have such a good variety of toppings you can add to your tacos. I was curious to try this place out since I always see it. I'm glad I did because this is a pretty good taco place. Their mulitas are so dang good. Crispy tortillas with gooey cheese? Bomb. They have a good variety of meats too. Usually I see some limit their menu but they have it all. Service was really nice.
